“We have been lucky enough to have learned about Yea’s Wok soon after we moved to the area in 2007. We were told it was the best Chinese food in the entire Greater Seattle area, and it has been true—in fact, I’ve lived all across the US and I might be so bold as to say that it’s the best I’ve ever had. Every meal is consistently delicious and so well prepared. Everything is served steaming hot. Our personal favorites are the hot and sour soup—we’ve never had better anywhere—it is chock full of vegetables and the perfect balance of hot and sour. Also, as an entree, we love the House special ginger chicken. It is outstanding the chicken (all breast meat) is fork tender and the sauce is unbelievably delicious. But, really, you can’t go wrong. Avoid peak hours as you will be waiting. They also do a robust takeout service. Well worth the visit.“

“Blazing Onion is one of our local burger places. It's very kid friendly, but also has a nice bar. They have an annoying policy of having you place your order at the door before getting a table. Not that big of a deal if you know what you want. If I don't have the kids in tow, I just sit in the bar. Food is good. Desserts are huge. Service is generally good. Shannon is a great bartender, and has my favorite drink dialed in. Definitely worth a visit.“

“We ordered an extra large pizza and was on our way to pick it up. Unfortunately, as we got onto the freeway, the car overheated. After dealing with that fiasco, we were very late to pick up our pizza. When we got there, we apologized and explained what happened. The kind staff offered to remake our pizza for us free of charge! Unable to wait, we started devouring the pizza in the car. It’s phenomenal! Absolutely wonderful! The funny thing is, they actually gave us the “old” one by mistake and gave us the other pizza. We ended up with 2 extra large pizzas and very happy tummies. Thank you for the great customer service, delicious pizza and turning our horrible day around. We’re certainly coming back for more! ❤️“

I've tried other places that specialize in making ramen. Sadly none of them really impressed me and would usually opt out for pho instead. But here, they got ramen RIGHT.

Hear me out, the black sesame squid ink ramen?? FIRE. The soup got that addictive nutty taste to it - this is my favorite ramen.

For seafood bowls, raw seafood and rice ratio is fair. Nice thick cuts of fish. Reasonable to the price.“

Had prompt, wonderful service from Michelle, and amazing food with giant portions. I typically only eat half of anything I order, but the food was so good, I ate 90% of my meal. If you are visiting, or live in the area, this is definitely a must for breakfast, lunch or brunch.“

“I am so glad we have Rainier Teriyaki as our go-to takeout spot! I’m a vegetarian and this is the best tofu teriyaki I’ve had! It’s nicely fried and stays crispy and reheats really well in air fryer. Their sauce is delicious and my partner loves their chicken. Our order has always been correct and neatly packaged and they confirm when you pick it up! I really admire their consistency. Very friendly staff, once I called just before closing and they kindly took my order which was for a friend who had just been visiting a family member in the hospital. With every bite, we could taste how much care & love went into preparing their authentic ingredients. “This was my first time eating at a local restaurant since moving to the CD from Bellevue (good riddance), and I was welcomed with warmth in a super inviting environment — big open windows and adorable outdoor seating. My food did not take very long at all to receive even though (as far as I could tell) there was only one person working. Right before he handed me my food, he said something so unexpectedly kind: that it’s nice to see me here! He handed me a beautifully seasoned (free) falafel on a fork.

It put the biggest smile on my face. I took my food home, I’m eating it right now, and I’m still smiling. The Greek fries are so delightful — they’re really crispy and so fresh compared to other ones I’ve tried. What a great experience! I love this neighborhood so much. ❤“

“My wife and I have come here for the drinks and occasionally truffle pommes frites or some oysters, but this time we tried some of the other menu items for dinner. My wife got the Halibut (Chapter 6) and I got the Mushroom Pasta dish. (Chapter 5)

I asked Casey if he recommended the mushroom dish and he said it was one of his favorites. I'm not a foodie, so I don't get overly excited over food but let me tell you... It was so good that it prompted me to write a review about it. I actually felt an endorphin rush from eating it! My wife loved the halibut, (which I also tried) and I would say getting her to eat fish is usually a challenge unless her fisherman father prepares it!

I would recommend a Manhattan or Old Fashioned, which Casey also pointed me towards some new Rye to try. Fantastic as always!

I had placed an order for oysters but apparently they were forgotten, but I was so enamored with the mushroom dish that I didn't even care. Casey offered them to me on the house as he felt bad, which was a very nice gesture. I wasn't upset at all!

Now we would like to try all the other dishes, because if both meals were that good, how can they miss with anything else?
