“It was a rainy day and my BF and I had planned to have lunch together the day before. So we decided to go the Blazing Onion as I had always wanted to try it.
Being vegetarian is sometimes hard to find a place that has options for burgers and this place has a few options which is great. I ended up getting the Impossible burger and onion petals on the side and my BF got the Blazing Onion burger and fries. He also ordered us an order of mozzarella sticks. For drinks we had water and I got a Blueberry Lime Fizz and he got Raspberry Lemonade. The water had a lemon slice which was a nice touch.
I have to say that the mozzarella sticks were delicious and cheesy and the marinara sauce was pretty good too. The burgers came and it was amazing!! I ate it all in record time lol. The bun was perfectly toasted as well. I had no complaints on the burger. The onion petals were ok. When I usually see something say beer battered I never taste the beer, this you could. The only issue was they were soggy.
My BF enjoyed his food and the drinks were very good too. Service was great as well. I will go to Blazing Onion again, it was really good. But what made it stellar was the person I shared the experience with, he is amazing.“

“Excellent food and service“

“We enjoyed our meal in a casual neighborhood setting. We had tempura cauliflower, mushroom risotto, clams and a Caesar. Everything was excellent but I need to call out the risotto as outstanding. Better than many seattle Italian restaurants. Very friendly service and they even seated us so we could watch the Mariners game. We have enjoyed many meals here since they opened several years ago but after last night we decided we would go more often.“

“This was our 1st time eating here. I really really enjoyed it. I don't eat burgers n stuff and they had a few Chicken Sandwich options, some Fish n Chips, nd a Fish Sandwich. Thats what I got nd it was fabulous. Crunchy nd not fishy tasting. The rest of the fam had burgers and they devoured them. Meat was fresh nd juicy. The place was very clean and the staff was super nice. We will definitely go back. When you in Renton, swing by you will enjoy it!!“

“A nice chill place with a good happy hour. We stopped for a late lunch, and enjoyed the tacos and the tenders. Sitting at the bar was fun, watching the creative bartenders care for the thirsty day drinkers. Clearly a local place, the servers seemed to know most of the crowd, yet welcomed us strangers warmly. Next time, I will have a burger as they looked great!“

“An iconic neighborhood pub with great service, cold drinks and tasty bar fare. I especially like sitting on the outdoor patio on a beautiful day. The patio tables have individual umbrellas and the tree line street down to the water of Lake Washington is beautiful.“

“Me and my family visited here after Snowflake Lane last night on Christmas Eve and they were able to accommodate 8 of us. The ambiance was pleasant, the drinks were amazing, and the food was excellent! My husband and I are vegan and they had several choices. I would highly recommend it here. “I took out my nephews to dine here. This place is a hidden gem for burgers and shakes. My nephews enjoyed the kiddie meal burgers, which were quite big. I also enjoyed my burger too, it was very delicious. We all got shakes. They really have an extensive menu. The staff were nice too! We'll definitely come back.“

“We went to Copperleaf to celebrate my husband's birthday. Everything was perfect. He enjoyed the duck and I loved the sablefish. The sauce was amazing and the fish melted in my mouth. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back. A neighborhood gem.“

“This might have been the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Perfectly juicy thick piece of chicken, salted beautifully so you get little hits just when you want it, a well measured amount of sauce to highlight the flavors and not overwhelm.

The Split Pea Fritters were also fried to perfection and had such a fantastic flavor on their own but once paired with the sauce holy cow.

The brewery the restaurant is in was serving up pints with an insane level of balance. A great example is the coconut porter which most hit you hard with the coconut up front. Not this one, the coconut is a playful flavor through the sip making it such an easy drink to go down. Same with the lagers and IPAs we tried. Even the root beer was probably one of the best I've had!

The staff were so bright and inviting, happy to explain things even though they were busy. They were hosting a community non-profit for artists which made for a fun and vibrant atmosphere.

“We stayed nearby and needed a place to dine late. We didn’t have a reservation but were quickly seated. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a wide selection for entrees to choose from. I had the chicken Marsala—delicious and filling. The waiter even gave me a souvenir sticker of the restaurant for my travel journal.“

“Justin and his staff always make the members feel welcomed like family as you hear them greeting most of the restaurant by name and often knowledge of their preferred drink order. Love that they have changing weekly specials to keep it interesting and lovely seasonal dishes. My favorite burger on the Eastside is here and is a perfect pub juicy burger. This cozy meeting place is one of the reasons so many generations return to living in this neighborhood.“

“What a surprisingly great experience from a hotel restaurant. This is a restaurant in a Hilton Garden Inn. As far as hotel restaurants go, it was absolutely outstanding. I had the house salad and the Jambalaya. Both were very good. Service was quick, friendly, and accurate. Great portions, for reasonable prices. My server, Leeana, was a huge part of their success. She was outstanding. Thank you all for a great dinner after a long day on the road.“

“The waitress was extremely nice but she had her hands full trying to serve everyone and make that long walk to the kitchen every time. The drinks were nice. The Long Island was my favorite.

The TVs are perfect for watching a sporting event. The bar stools are quite comfortable.

I ordered the seared halibut and it came with black carrots. I was miserable eating this. It was tougher than expected and not well seasoned. Next time I will order the fish and chips.“

“This is the third time I have eaten at Cascades and it was absolutely delicious. I ate the rib eye steak while my wife had the steak frites. My son's had the chicken strips and the club sandwich and everyone absolutely loved their food. It was a highlight of our vacation and Muhammad our server was by far the kindest and most friendly customer service we had our entire trip.“

“This is not a typical Courtyard Bistro, they have a full restaurant. Staff was amazing, Savannah and Patrick. I ate here 3 times during my stay, everything was great. Calamari, Burger, Steak, Quesadilla. Great selection of local beers and spirits, overall a very nice bar selection for a Courtyard. Was not expecting that.
I also spoke with the manager to compliment him on the staff and food. I am hoping my job sends me back here in the future.
