“It was our first time here. The place was really cozy with fireplace on for the gloomy weather we had that day. We got seated right away even without reservation. Please double check for lunch or dinner. The breakfast menu is very limited but the few options they have are plenty and delicious. We paired our complete breakfast plate with a bowl of fruit and a croissant and preserves on the side. Overall the place was really serene with nature views. Definitely trying if for lunch or dinner. Well done!“

“Definitely pricey and there’s a wait for hot food but for airport food this place is pretty solid.
I like their clam chowder, onion rings, and chicken panini. The clam chowder a little too thick (like it’s almost like a stew or gravy). But it has a good amount of clams and other stuff so it’s not just liquid soup which I like. The clam chowder, onion rings, and chicken panini are all a bit salty, but they’re still tasty. I’ve also gotten their margherita pizza before and it was good. This time I also got their chocolate chip cookie which was solid. I wish they could’ve warmed it beforehand and I wish it was more crispy on the outside, but it was still good.
In terms of the service, they are definitely on the slower side. So if you’re in a rush I definitely would not order their hot foods, like the pizza. I do end up waiting here for a bit when I order.
The restaurant itself feels like a classic cafe. It is very busy and small (which is the whole SeaTac airport to be honest), so although I did take out, I don’t think I could’ve found a table if I ordered for here. But that’s not really a problem with this restaurant. The whole SeaTac airport is always super busy and stuffed with people that it’s always hard to find a table to eat.
Prices:
- Half 9th & Pike Panini & Soup ($20)
- Onion rings ($10.90)
- Chocolate chip cookie ($4.75)
- Clam chowder soup bowl ($12)
- Margherita Flatbread ($16.90)
- Evian Spring Water ($8.99)“

“My favorite thing about this restaurant was the delightful cacophony of kitchen crew who seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs as they banter over meal prep! Beyond that, the food was delicious and fairly priced both for portions and for flavor. This may not be the place for those seeking a quiet contemplative meal, but if you enjoy jolly atmospheres and soaking in the sounds of life happening all around you, 13 Coins is the way to go. If it weren't impolite, I probably would have licked the plate clean after enjoying a perfectly cooked ribeye steak and potatoes. My son and husband also cleaned their plates before we all devoured our dessert. With something for everyone, it's a solid choice for a hearty meal. Enjoy!“

“Airport food is always expensive. I debated getting a breakfast sandwich from a nearby food court place for carry-out but when I saw they (the carry-out coffee/sandwich place) were charging the same price for a breakfast bagel ($18-19) with no sides, I decided to sit down and eat a full breakfast meal with sides for the same price! I ordered the Rise & Shine (scrambled eggs with cheese, toast, potatoes, meat). It was very good.
I would have eaten and left and not posted a review, but my server/waitress was so incredibly kind, attentive, and great that I had to post a review! She didn’t have a name tag but my receipt says Jarupa for the name. Very kind and exceptional quality service! Give this woman a raise! :)
They open at 6:00am and I was one of the first customers. I am not a morning person so I am very appreciative for the great food and excellent service!“
