Airport food is notoriously overpriced; however, I feel that with this establishment, you will most definitely get your money's worth.

For a takeout establishment, they offer a decent menu selection that pays tribute to the wonderful cuisine the waters of the Pacific Northwest have to offer.

If you need a recommendation, I would highly recommend their staple dish: the wild salmon fish and chips. The French fries are perfectly crispy and salted, and their wild salmon is perfectly battered and flaky.

If I could make just one suggestion to the establishment, it would be that my husband and I have noticed that the salmon pieces seem to be getting smaller. We understand that salmon isn't cheap, but it's a little sad when we see that we've received smaller pieces of salmon when picking up what has become one of our favorite meals.“

“After having been to Driftwood twelve times I can confidently say it’s the only restaurant in Seattle worth dining at.  Lots of places make claims about freshness and local ingredients, but chef Dan Mallahan shops at the Farmers Market two days a week. It’s not a joke or a gimmick. If you want to eat food grown exclusively in Washington State, that tastes real, then Driftwood is the spot. They serve tomatoes that actually have flavor, delicious veggie dishes, and meat and fish that are tender and juicy. They combine so many flavors in a subtle harmony making each bite you take delightful. Not to mention the killer cocktails.  The vibe is beautiful but chill. The staff are lovely and kind. Crab and More far exceeds our expectations and the food was much better and way more favorable than Crab Pot. Their sauces are excellent and the prices are much better than Crab Pot. Super nice, super courteous, brought us everything we needed and more, brought us extra forks and napkins because we had a child, he even brought us mayonnaise so we could make a sauce for the fries. Excellent food, 7 out of 10 price, and when we were there they had the banana pudding cheesecake which is not to be missed the french fries are pretty legit when they're fresh and they're brand new Kidd valley hamburgers are delicious! Very relaxed atmosphere, very casual, very nice people, and the chowder is insane!“

“Decor is standard ivar’s, so I gave it a default 5 stars. Food is as expected, nicely fried seafood. The Asian lady frying the food seems very on top of things and open to helping the cashier when she has a spare moment. She seems more invested than she should be, so that’s good, right? They also bring your order out to you. I’m used to them calling your name and you have to get your order at the counter. So services is above par for an Ivar’s.

“Sometimes it's hard to see this place driving down Rainier, but you can smell the goodness coming out of here. The patio was packed with locals from the East African community, and not a single hipster in sight, so I HAD to check it out. Glad I did. Took home some amazing spicy lamb tibs and it was so good I just had to take my partner here for dinner a few nights later. She was impressed as she ordered what I had the last time, and I had the Keye Wott (which was nice and spicy but not too spicy). Looks to be a family run joint, and the staff just loved that I came back and brought my partner here. Highly recommended.“
