“I'd say the only disappointing part was the reservation app didn't make seating requests/options very obvious. Tonight was probably one of our last beautiful nights. When checking in we were told outside seating was booked, yet we saw atleast 2 tables that were open the entire time we were there. That being said, our 1st Anniversary dinner was delicious and the service was great.“

“Last night we celebrated Bruce's (Mei Ling) graduation from NYU at the Lobster Shop Tacoma with his parents from China. The staff went over the top with service! From the wine sommelier, to the waiter's patience and respectful help with foreign visitors, and manager's kind visit to welcome the family, I couldn't be more impressed. I tried to sneak in a special desert and was told the manager had already taken care of it on the house. Thank you all! What you didn't know is Bruce's mother is an influencer with over a million followers. She took a lot of videos to share.“

“Jami was our server and absolutely amazing. My best friends and I had just gone wedding dress shopping and she says yes to a dress so we were celebrating. Jami was outstanding. “Went to dinner for date night. Hadn’t been in a number of years. We were very pleased with the experience. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server, Steve, was very attentive and friendly. It was his second night on the job. He was excellent! We started with the mozzarella caprese appetizer. It was delicious. For our main courses I had the cioppino and my husband had the filet. Both were excellent. For dessert I had the raspberry sorbet - very refreshing; my husband had the turtle brownie. Again both were excellent.“

“Came in on 7/5/2026 to have lunch with my mom and husband. The beer battetrd cod fish and chips were fantastic. Chowder was just right thickness with lots of potatoes and clams. Definitely my new favorite Ivar's location.

“I have never had pizza to go and went there tonight. The second I walked in Patrick, Danni and Giuseppe were so warm, welcoming and quite the comedians! They suggested a glass of wine while I waited for my pizza so I went and had a glass of wine. The bartender was just as amazing as them! Hands down the best customer service in a long time and the pizza was outstanding! I'll definitely be back! Thank you :)“

“This restaurant is in Tacoma's middle class area on Pacific Ave. We were a little apprehensive because of the aesthetics, but as we went in, a nice Lady leaving told us they had great food. They cleaned up a window table for us. Then brought us a I-pad to order, they want you to scan in there menu, I declined and received the I-pad. We saw reviews commenting on there Peking Duck and Chow fun Beef. We went for the Duck, Pork Hot & Sour Soup, House Special Fried Rice has shrimp and pork, the fresh Egg Rolls stuffed full of Shrimp were unbeatable. The Duck came with white flat pastry rolls with a nice tangy sauce and veggies, very good. Everything was cooked perfectly with special authentic style and taste. The Jasmine tea was wonderful. “Went to WildFin last night for the first time to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It was arguably the BEST service we’ve experienced at a restaurant! It was very busy, peak hours, with a Christmas boat parade on the water going on and our server, Kendra, was incredible! She was kind, personable, attentive, efficient, and knowledgeable on the menu. And that was just the cherry on top. The food was delicious, great portions, and left us feeling satisfied. Such a great experience! We’ll definitely be back.“

“As always, the food was great and the service superb. However, I was seated next to a booth with 3 VERY loud people who kept getting louder until it sounded like they were shouting (it was friendly talk, not arguing). I had already gotten my food, moving would have been difficult, so I just ate, trying to ignore the noise. I had arrived between “normal” eating times intending to have a relaxing meal listening to a book/music, but it was not to be. I WILL go back (like I said the food is great & service is superb) but will ask not to be seated next to anyone if possible.“

“Loved the food! On our first trip, we had one of the suchi options, Chulichi shrimp, the ceviche trio, and mango margaritas. All of them were excellent, subtly spiced, and simply delicious. Yes, the music was a bit loud but it was manageable and did not prevent discussion at the table. Our waitress Clarita and bus-person David provided excellent recommendations and great service. We will definitely go back and bring more friends this time!“
