“Went to dinner for date night. Hadn’t been in a number of years. We were very pleased with the experience. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server, Steve, was very attentive and friendly. It was his second night on the job. He was excellent! We started with the mozzarella caprese appetizer. It was delicious. For our main courses I had the cioppino and my husband had the filet. Both were excellent. For dessert I had the raspberry sorbet - very refreshing; my husband had the turtle brownie. Again both were excellent.“

“I wasn't sure about this place as my girlfriend and I have driven past it for almost two years on our weekend drives on the waterfront, but we decided to try it and were very pleasantly surprised.

The atmosphere is simplistic and modern but very nice! It's clean atmospheric and I really enjoyed the interior lighting. The outside could be a bit more impressionable with better, more noticeable lighting, but it still looks nice.

Our hostess right away was very friendly and a good start being taken to our seats. Our waiter, Kevin, was an absolute gem. He was personable, very friendly and attentive but not annoying at all and was able to bring up and keep conversation, which I appreciate greatly. He was great company as we ate our meals and he made our experience very nice. Well worth the trip alone.

As food goes, my lady had the Paella and it was fantastic. We both agreed that it could use a bit more heat (spice) but that's also a part of the dish that felt lacking, but overall was just delicious as a whole. The sauce over the clams and mussels was incredible. I could eat those by themselves all day.
I had the miso glazed blackened cod and I did like it quite a bit. I do think it could have used a little more char on the skin and a bit of lemon juice to cut through the sweetness of the miso sauce but it was very well prepared.

Overall, a very good experience. I do think the price is rather egregious and the appetizers have to be ordered with your entrees (don't know how normal that is) so it is not a place we could visit frequently, unfortunately, but it was a great place. We will be back!“

“Had fish always good and oysters which seemed like to me to have soft uncooked bater I took back a couple of them they cooked longer which didn't make a diff. Not much flavor still seemed soft in edges? I have always gotten good oysters at Ivars. Got there at opening.“

AMAZING service: there was a strange woman who kept talking to us (knowing we were highschoolers) and rubbing my friends shoulders…JAMI immediately got the manager and the woman was immediately asked to leave no questions. JAMI was the BEST server EVER, complimenting our outfits (going to prom!), taking a photo for our group, going along with our dumb jokes, and at the end telling us she loved serving us. Genuinely, I hope someone in management sees this, and gives her a raise. I do not say that lightly. Thank you so much Jami and Primo Grill Restaurant for the great pre prom experience ❤️❤️❤️“

We went on Christmas Eve because we wanted a great meal, pleasant atmosphere and feel like we were welcomed and not disappointed that they were taking the time away from their family to make our experience great.“

However, I was seated next to a booth with 3 VERY loud people who kept getting louder until it sounded like they were shouting (it was friendly talk, not arguing). I had already gotten my food, moving would have been difficult, so I just ate, trying to ignore the noise. I had arrived between “normal” eating times intending to have a relaxing meal listening to a book/music, but it was not to be. I WILL go back (like I said the food is great & service is superb) but will ask not to be seated next to anyone if possible.“

“I have never had pizza to go and went there tonight. The second I walked in Patrick, Danni and Giuseppe were so warm, welcoming and quite the comedians! They suggested a glass of wine while I waited for my pizza so I went and had a glass of wine. The bartender was just as amazing as them!
