“This review is way overdue! Stopped here on a day trip gathering supplies for my tea shop with the hubby! Owner was really kind, fish was crunchy and fresh! Would recommend highly! Living in Port Angeles on the water with fresh fish I am very particular about my fish and chips, these fit the bill! Moist fish, crunchy batter! Could use a tad more spices but I lived in the south so I just want extra spice. 4.5 out of 5 stars! Check them out!“

“We had Jenny as our server and she was near perfect. Great menu suggestions, timely, not pushy and yet attentive. Four of us all ordered differently and shared... the food was prepared well and quite tasty. We all would highly recommend Crawfish House Renton. Oh, and they allowed us to bring in our well trained Labrador instead of having to leave her in a sun heated car. Very accommodating.“

Came here for a family-style Chinese dinner and everything we ordered was excellent. The biggest thing that stood out was how well everything was cooked. Seafood stayed moist and tender, vegetables kept their crunch, and the meats were juicy and flavorful.

1. Stir-Fried Cauliflower with Pork & Black Fungus — 5/5
The cauliflower stayed fresh and crunchy instead of becoming soft or soggy. The pork was tender, and the black fungus added another nice crunchy texture. Simple dish, but cooked very well.

2. Steamed Whole Fish with Ginger & Green Onion — 5/5
One of my favorites. The fish was steamed perfectly and stayed incredibly moist and tender. The ginger, green onion, and soy sauce complemented the natural flavor of the fish without overpowering it.

3. Sweet & Sour Pork — 5/5
Really good balance of sweet and tangy flavor. The pork stayed juicy inside while still having a nice texture on the outside. The sauce coated everything well without completely drowning the pork.

4. Steamed Oysters with Black Bean, Garlic & Green Onion — 5/5
The oysters were big, plump, juicy, and cooked just right. I especially liked the black bean and garlic combination. Lots of flavor while still allowing you to taste the oyster itself.

5. Roast Duck — 5/5
The duck was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Most importantly, it wasn't dry. The skin had a nice roasted texture while the meat underneath stayed moist.

6. Shredded Chicken with Egg — 5/5
Very tender and flavorful. The shredded chicken stayed moist, and the egg added another soft texture to the dish. Everything worked really well together.

Every dish was 5/5 for me. What impressed me most was the consistency of the cooking. The fish and oysters stayed moist, the meats stayed juicy and tender, and the vegetables still had their fresh crunch.

Definitely a place I'd come back to for another family-style Cantonese dinner.“

The outdoor seating area is a huge bonus—the view of the water makes it such a great place to sit, relax, and enjoy a meal. Definitely one of the better spots to grab fish & chips in Renton. “An authentic Chinese (Cantonese) restaurant—there is even a menu only in Chinese on the wall, which likely changes depending on what’s in season. We had the fresh shrimp. Recommend the 7lb for a family of 4. Very friendly staff, clean restaurant and restrooms. As tourist we really enjoyed being able to walk around The Landing area to explore. Great location and overall experience.“

“First time visiting this location. Not busy for lunch on a Sunday. They offer Wagyu A5 as upcharge for $25, unfortunately they were sold out today. Crab Rangoons were very tasty. I got the chicken & shrimp hibachi, very good, seasoned well. Husband got the ribeye & chicken, also enjoyed his meal. Staff very friendly, excellent service. Enjoyed very much & will return.“
