“We ordered the mango salad which was recommended by the server as a house specialty. I thought it was just ok, nothing special. The mango juliennes were too thick mixed with fried pieces of tofu in their house sauce. We also shared the combo platter which was enough for 2. Overall, all the items we ordered were good. Lunch for 3 was about $60. Service was great.“
“Marianna is hands down one of the best restaurants in the Seattle Metro. The food is some of the freshest, most authentic Italian cuisine you will have the pleasure of enjoying. The staff is energetic, fun, and extremely personable. If you enjoy calamari, this is your spot! Marianna is home to the best calamari I’ve ever had, and I work in the travel industry for a living… *chef’s kiss*. The pastas are fresh, the sauces are authentic… try the gnocchi gorgonzola! Less than $30 for an appetizer, entree, and cocktail? Exceptional value! If David offers to make you a drink, and be prepared for a laugh… Trust whatever this gregarious man recommends. The restaurant venue itself may look like an Italian pub, with some interesting decor choices… Believe me when I say, it’s clear the food, the service, the overall experience… You will NOT leave disappointed.“
“Ever since I moved to Seattle I've been on the hunt for authentic, tasty Cajun food and Crawfish House definitely delivered. The server was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant and open. I loved the snow crab and the house sauce was delicious. This place really doesn't mess around with the spice, it was HOT! Service was a little sparse and they seem understaffed, but the food made up for it. Will definitely be coming back here!Parking: Two lots, extra parking in the back if you can't find any in the front.“
“One of the last traditional Cantonese casual restaurants left around Seattle. Roast duck, sweet and sour pork, salt & pepper chicken wings. Can get busy on weekend evening. They do live seafood such as crabs, fish, lobster but they overcharge by doubling the weight claimed. Had a lobster and was charged for 5 pounds lobster ($175 !) while what I saw was about a 2 lbs lobster. I was charged 4 lbs for a dungenese crab which I have never seen a 4 lbs dungenese crab ever. The largest I have seen is slightly over 2 lbs and the one we had should be around 2 lbs. They are really dishonest in their seafood by the pound so beware.“
“Love having fish and chips on Lake Washington just wish you got more fish for your money. The old Asian guy who works here is a joke and enjoys being a jerk to customers. I'm sorry that you're 100 years old and don't like working in a fast food joint maybe it's time to move on to something else like a Walmart door “
“Got food to go. So i can't really comment on the plating. Got the diablo shrimp. It looked like a mess and it was one of the messiest dishes I've had. It was also absolutely delicious. Will return for that one dish again. Steak was a bit over cooked though.“
“Have lived in Fairwood area since 1999, Wild Garlic never disappoints. It has been through a few different owners over the years yet always seems to live up to good expectations. General Tso chicken a favorite as well as Broccoli Beef. Mostly do take out as the interior does need updating.“
“The food and service were amazing! The steaks were cooked perfectly with the fat melting in your mouth. The drinks were delicious and well worth what we payed. As for the cheese cake, I've never had one as good as this. 5/5 for us, thank you for helping me celebrate my wife's 33rd Birthday!“
“It was absolutely fantastic! I felt like I had to find the location; it felt like a secret to uncover. The unassuming exterior did not match the fabulous interior or the magnificent service rendered by the host and servers. The food was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails looked perfectly made, as did their bottle service. What truly elevated the experience was the entertainment. I went on Tuesday night when it was aerial acrobatics!“
“Wonderful atmosphere and very fancy food! If it weren't 2-3 hours away from I live, I would definitely go back. I'm vegetarian so my options are usually limited, but they had quite a few! I would absolutely recommend their sourdough mac&cheese :]“
“Absolutely loved this place! From the ambiance to the staff and food! We ordered the steak which was cooked in front of us and it was delicious. We also had the cheeseburger and it was delicious as well. The fries were perfect, crisp and seasoned, with fresh grated cheese on top. The atmosphere especially made the dinner memorable.“
“Absolutely incredible experience. Food was DELICIOUS, service was impeccable, and the bottle of wine that was recommended to us has become a new favorite. Thank you for an unforgettable night celebrating our anniversary! Even got custom made menus with our names on them. Very nice touch!“
“We love this restaurant. The food and service are always impeccable. We e eaten here twice several months apart. Each time, we were greeted warmly, shown to our table and waited on in an appropriate and timely manner. The cocktails are inspired and the food does not disappoint. Highly recommend.“
“Our new go-to for raw seafood and cooked shellfish. Oysters were the best we've had and so fresh. Enjoyed the po boy and the steamer combo. Nice muscat wine to go with as well. We will be back! Thanks Dawn!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options.“
“When you visit Pike Place in Seattle for some fresh and delicious seafood, don't forget to stop by Pike Place Chowder. You can't visit without trying their chowder, where the flavor of the clams is perfectly brought out, or indulging in a fresh seafood roll! We've got eight tempting chowders to choose from, including traditional New England and Manhattan styles, along with the chef's selection of market chowder featuring his choice of ingredients and flavors. If you're feeling indecisive or want to try a variety of tastes, they highly recommend the "4-Cup Chowder Sampler."It's always packed with customers seeking delicious chowder, but the long lines are definitely worth the wait!“
“Such an astounding experience today for my whole family and especially my dad. We made a reservation here to celebrate my dad’s birthday. We had heard the customer service here was great but even so they definitely went way above and beyond and thoroughly exceeded our expectations. Kay was our server, he made sure the whole experience was so good from the very beginning to the end for us. He decorated the whole table for his birthday, which was totally unexpected, even brought the cake out with a lit candle!! He even gave my dad a small gift. While my boyfriend and I were waiting for the rest of the family to show up, he brought us a small plate of fruit. Such attention to detail! My parents were very impressed by the whole establishment. Our water cups never went empty, Kay checked in on us often. I’ve never felt so welcome and taken care of.Free validated parking. The bathroom was stocked with mouth wash, toothbrush/toothpaste. He gave us hair ties and lens cleaners for my brother and nephew. The dancing noodle guy did a great job as well!Definitely come for a birthday if you want the person to feel special! The tomyum soup was the favorite among most of us, miso as well!“
“We ordered staff lunch for our team of 20+. From the beginning to the end, everything was extremely delicious and thoughtful! Reaching out to them, they were very prompt with their responses. They very much so worked with us on our budget and didn't let that get in the way of truly enjoying their goodness. I was able to chat through all of my questions through email, phone call, and even in person! (There were a lot of questions and checks ins from me.)The pick up was smooth and seamless. I personally appreciate the level of attention paid to details. hooked us up with all the tools needed to crack/cut the shells, bibs, paper for the tabletops, wet wipes, and so much more. It made my job so easier and our clean up a breeze! They def are full service. The food itself was delicious! Very flavorful - that hut special - the best! We got so many compliments on the food and flavors. Such a treat for our team. While we ordered for 20 people, we easily could feed more.I appreciate their desire to support programs, orgs, and people working in the community doing the good work. It's nice to know there's a place that not only makes yummy food but also cares about its customers and the community they're in. We will definitely be coming back for team orders and personally for nights out with friends and family. Thank you to everyone at The Crawfish Hut - especially Denny!“
“Love me some speak-easy bars! What a lovely find! Despite being a Seattle native, I'm not familiar with what Seattle has to offer in terms of speak-easies. I have visited a number in Philadelphia as well as NY city. I suppose I simply doubted Seattle could live up to my east coast experiences. I'm happy to say Roquette proved me wrong! Firstly, true to the speak-easy persona, the entrance was questionable in identification. We couldn't tell if we were at the right place or if it was even open. When we recognized the entrance however, we easily entered and found ourselves in a very cool, throwback, swanky bar. It was relatively intimate and seating was readily available because we arrived around 5:30pm. Happy hour lasts until 7pm, which makes sense because that's prime dinner time rather than "drinking time." Unfortunately, our visit was a few weeks ago and I can't recall the exact drinks we ordered, but they were excellent cocktails that weren't OVERLY sweet like many bars do. There were generous pours of liquor, and fruit cocktails were made with fresh fruit. I only remembered to do this review because we are pending a second visit before the New Year and needed to send this place some love! Great find! Hopefully, it doesn't change with increasing popularity, as is often the case with some businesses.“
“I am constantly in search of good hot pot places in Seattle. While Hai Di Lao has been my go-to choice, after a meal at Qiao Lin it is definitely rising the ranks on my hot pot list and has the potential to overthrow hai di lao. During our visit, my friends and I chose the four-broth option, featuring two mild selections (tomato broth, pork bone broth) and two spicy options (Chongqing spicy broth, pepper pork broth). The waiter told us that the pepper pork broth was not as spicy but we found it to be the spiciest of the lot. We ordered the beef combo and the presentation was one of the best I've seen at hot pot. The combo arrived on a golden cow and even had a cool fog experience for the first few minutes it was on the table. Every cut of beef on that platter was a delight, especially the Wagyu. Since the platter was pretty filling we only ordered a few other items: quail eggs, skewers, noodles, and meatballs. These were good but honestly didn't compare to the wagyu from the beef platter. The wait staff were exceptionally friendly and responsive throughout our entire dinner. Their patience was notable especially when they graciously waited for us to finish our meal and didn't push us at all even though we were the last party to leave. I will definitely be back to Qiao Lin, primarily for the remarkable beef platter and the commendable service.“
“The waitresses were excellent the food was excellent The drinks we had were good and I would have rated the place love it except for They put us in the back corner next to the bar where everybody and their brother were walking back-and-forth wasn't pleasant I would go againParking: The earlier you get there the easier it is to find a parking spot“
“This is such a good restaurant. I’ve worked my way through the menu and so far it’s all very good. The cheese plate is one of my favorites. The French onion soup wonderfully different and great. The lamb is outstanding. The rockfish my favorite. Brunch is also great. Parking is difficult. You have to park in the public lot down the street by Dick’s.“
“Really attentive service and a fun interactive meal. I had a lot of fun ordering meats, fish, tofu and veggies to cook in my spicy and bone broth. There’s a cute little robot that brings the food to your table and a sauce bar to create your own adventure of flavors.I really enjoyed my dinner here!“
“The best lobster roll place West of NH & Maine, Mason’s on 1st St., Seattle, across from the Seattle Art Museum! My favorite is the Connecticut and I “Bar Harbor”it.’That means you get an extra tailpiece and it tastes just like it’s out of the shell. The room can get very noisy. I really wish they had lobster bibs!“
“So refreshing to have a meal where the meal and the service are spot on. Every dish was a hit and our server Chloe made the whole experience come together perfectly. Happily come back again and recommend it to anyone else looking for a well executed and delicious Italian food experience.“
“We had a lovely dinner at That's Amore . We shared a pear salad and the pizza with figs . Both excellent. We also shared scallopine which was also really good but we didn't really have room for all of it. The staff were all friendly, helpful and worked like a family. Definitely a date night success . Will be coming back.“
“This location is small and the wait will probably be long but trust me, it'll be well worth it. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great and the service is friendly/knowledgeable. I had THE BEST whole dugneness crab here. They serve it with their House OMG Sauce and yes, it lives up to its name!“
“Our first time in Seattle and in Pike Place, we chose this place as recommended by our friends. And god it was awesome. The waterfront seating on a warm sunny day just added on to all the positives. Nice food accompanied by even better brews were worthy of all the praises. A must visit place if you are in or around Pike Place. We ordered the following:Brewer’s Flight - $21Fish & Chips - $21Pepperoni Wood Fired Pizza - $18Hot Wings (half) - $12Clam & Bacon Chowder Bowl - $13Santa Muerte Cocktail (*2) - $15 eaNote:The fish and chips consisted of 3 pieces of fish and upon our request they added a 4th piece to the plate at an additional charge of $7.The Brewer’s flight contained the following:Old Stove PilsnerBelgian BlondeTwo Prong IPAAmber WavesBlitzfire BrownSeasonal Sour“
“This is a gem. The service staff was very attentive, kind, and friendly. It was clear their customers are important to them. We enjoyed the walnut shrimp and egg rolls. It felt like we got to experience a bit of true Seattle history at one of the oldest chinese restaurants in the city (1935). All of the thank you cards, photos, articles, and nice messages to the team over the years along the wall make it clear that the owners and team care about community and service. We felt it to. Thank you Tai Tung team!“
“Quick and attentive service, even on a Friday night. A favorite of many generations of my family. Huge selection of Chinese classics, prepared with all the perfection my family demands- dim sum, congee, lamb, fish, hot pot, noodles, fried rice- they have it all. Huge portions, and far and away my least expensive meal in Seattle! Best to pay with cash here as a result.“
“I was pleasantly surprised by how good the poke was here considering it was in a touristy area like Pike's. The fish was very fresh and the flavor was pretty good too. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough fish to topping ratio (as you can see in the pic)“
“Don’t underestimate the food in what you think may be a tourist trap type of spot. The food is really good. I highly recommend the crab cakes and the crab chowder. The blackened salmon fish tacos were really good too. They have rotating ciders. If you’re lucky, you’ll find a table by the window. If you’re really lucky the sun will be out for you. Access from 1st Ave. On a Tuesday afternoon they seemed kind of short staffed but still took great care of us. Cheers!“
“The pad Thai was really good, I got it with tofu. It was expensive but I was able to make 2 meals out of it because the portions were generous. Very good Thai , I ordered delivery so I don’t know how the atmosphere is but I would order it again. I should also mention it was a fast delivery.“
“BEST LOBSTER ROLL IN TOWN!! Hands down, my husband and I have been looking for a good lobster roll for a while . This place has a great customer service, staff was patient on the phone while we were making our take out order. When we got the order, the roll had the best spices and flavor I have ever had . We will be coming back.“
“The Kudedon Bowl was quite amazing. It has Salmon, Albacore Tuna, grilled eel, shrimp, Tuna , and Ikura(orange roe) along with some shiitake mushrooms, greens on a bed of sushi rice. The staff was friendly and quick with the order. The place is in the lobby of one of the building in 4th Ave in Downtown Seattle so be prepared to either take it to go or sit on the lobby sofa or some of the stool by the main doors to the building. That said, don't be deterred by that, the food is worth it. Enjoy!“
“Places like this are genius. You order at a kiosk so it's perfect for introverts. The food is absolutely delicious. Their pho broth is scrumptious. Their pho tater tots and egg rolls are also yummy. I haven't figured out the beer situation there. It's apparently self-serve. This is place is also great to watch a game as they have HUGE TV's. Great for pre or post game eats.“
“Delicious hot pot in downtown Bellevue! For broths we had the house spicy and tomato. Big warning on the house spicy broth...even the "light spicy" is extremely spicy! It's very tasty but it will burn you twice if you know what I mean, especially vegetables that seem to soak up all the spicy oils. Our favorites were the beef short ribs and lamb shoulder. Fish filet was pretty good too, though I think we overcooked them. We also got Mexican shrimps that were huge but I wish they were de-veined, that was my only gripe of the meal. I really appreciated the wait staff, they were patient and explained how to order off their iPads, and gave recommendations that we enjoyed. The underground parking lot is kinda narrow and limited, so I bet it's a nightmare on busy weekends.“
“Went for happy hour to order my favorite smoked oyster dip with chips, ended up trying new spring cocktails not on happy hour menu lol no regrets. Mary was right. The lavender cocktail was absolutely delicious and my favorite. It drinks very easy so don't say I didn't warn you lol. I asked to sit outside as I enjoy balmy weather and fresh air. Perfect afternoon snack/early dinner. Mary says I'm such a lamb“
“Cute little shop with food made with care! I'm so thankful this place exists and fills the void of Korean food in the White Center area!!! Looking forward to more soup options eventually, I hope!!Parking: Only a few spots, working nearby may be required depending on time of day.“
“Busy, bustling atmosphere. EXCELLENT food, service was good. Really cool artwork on the walls, food is as authentic as I've ever had, the BBQ pork is their signature item.Only criticism would be that this area of Seattle is pretty sketchy. That's obviously not the restaraunts fault, though.“
“We come here often for any special occasion or date night - we love this location! But this time, we got even better service than usual, and the food seemed to be better than usual as well! Cameron took really good care of us for the evening - he was so wonderful, attentive, friendly and professional - we really appreciated him. Five stars all around for sure!!“
“Chris made our night memorable! Went above and beyond. Oysters were fresh amd yummy. Scallops and steaks cooked perfect. Sides were good flavor.Received excellent service with additional dessert and drinks. Would highly recommend a stop at this historical labdmark location!“
“Small stall inside the market for grilled-to-order fresh seafood. No seating but there are tables available within the market nearby. Service is friendly and fast. I ordered the blackened salmon sandwich which I recommend. The salmon was cooked really well and the bread and caramelized veggies and sauce were all tasty. I wish the fish itself was a bit more flavorful, but I'll definitely be trying out more of their menu“
“Went here for lunch. I had the sushi bento (see photo) plus a special roll (Sunset is the name, it has eel). The sushi bento has tuna, yellowtail, salmon, albacore, shrimp nigiri, crispy rice with crab meat, etc. The bento itself was filling enough. It was good, the fish was fresh, the miso was flavorful but not too salty, and the portions were fair.“
“Some work friends and I went out to dinner and found this great place. The food was fantastic! The service was amazing! I'll be adding this to my list of places to come back to. I had the Rock fish tacos (10/10), clam chowder (10/10), and crab dip appetizer (10/10). Ooh la la!“
“This place was amazing! Electric attitudes from the staff and great service. Timing of ordering was great from the drinks, to the appetizers and the entrees. The atmosphere is also wonderful and homelike. We ordered the crab Rangoon, fried pancake, spicy Kimchi calamari, a vegan Bahn Mi sandwich, and the Pho Combo. Everything was really fresh and the portions were plentiful!Vegetarian options: A lot to choose here for vegetarians/vegansDietary restrictions: Tons of vegan options“
“As far as sushi options at this price point go in Bellevue this is a great spot. I prefer this to japonessa or kobe around the same price point. High quality rolls - ordered spider, unagi, and spicy hamachi, all very good and well rolled. Would order all 3 again. It's not top tier sushi and isn't priced like it, I found a lot of value at the price point.“
“My friends and I came to celebrate a birthday and we really enjoyed our experience here. It was all of our first times, and we only mentioned it was the birthday girl's birthday in conversation, and they still made note of it and went out of their way to make her feel special at the end of our meal. The food was delicious, our server did a really great job at making recommendations. We trusted her and were not disappointed. I intentionally ordered smaller plates because I didn't want to fill up and ended up getting full quite quickly anyway. My favorite item was the crabcake on the appetizer menu, and they offered a delicious pink seabream ceviche that was very subtle in fish flavor, but exploding with flavor with the toppings they dressed it with. We will definitely be coming back.“
“Our favorite meal in the PNW, by far. Reviews were great, so we went for it. It's definitely a place that would be busy on the weekends, so we went on a Monday.I've eaten some great sushi in several cities, but this was the most flavorful fish I've ever had. It all melted in your mouth with a buttery softness. Pieces that had tempura batter were scrumptious. We only had 1 dinner night in Seattle. Otherwise, we would have been back for sure. The server was attentive but knew when to let us do our thing. Terrific service overall and the food came out in a timely manner.Sushi can be expensive, but this place was fairly priced (low for its quality). Little corner place near Cherry Hill and Seattle University.Vegetarian options: Several rolls with all veggie options. The sweet potato roll was so good and simple.“
“I had the lunch special of Chili and Basil, the service was swift and very friendly, the food and atmosphere was equally enjoyable! It’s also quite fairly priced considering the location! I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch, or even for catering! The noodles are a palette cleanser, so they’re meant to be a mild flavor, which does wonders for enjoying the meal to its fullest! I’ll be having my lunches here from now on! Thank you for the wonderful service Ti22!“
“Oh my gosh! I needed to pick up a bookshelf at IKEA, so searched for a nearby lunch spot and found Salty Blue. I’ve lived in the Seattle area for 60+ years, and I’ve eaten a lot of fish & chips. If this isn’t the best fish & chips in Seattle, then it’s a really, really, really close second. Three things to note: 1) They don’t serve Cod, which is the standard fish & chips fish around here. Instead, their “house fish” is New Zealand Hoki. They also serve Barramundi (Australian Sea Bass) and Halibut. The young man behind the counter took the time to clearly explain the differences between the types of fish they offered and how they compared to Cod. Made our choices much easier! We ordered both the Hoki and Halibut to compare. The Hoki was very tasty! 2) They have a small selection of beer and cider on tap. The IPA d’jour during our visit was a Single Hill hazy pale. Not my favorite, but any establishment (especially one this small) that puts Single Hill beer on tap gets props from me. 3) Salty Blue is a tip-free establishment. Lunch for two was $60 (including a soda and the beer), which is a bit pricey, but when you think about what you would normally expect to pay for quality fish & chips and then add a tip, it works out to about the same. Just be aware and don’t let the price shock you. I thought the overall value was above average.Parking: Small parking lot but plenty of on-street parking nearby.“
