This is a place for those who take their body seriously. The staffs tend to be busy but it is worth the wait. I can see that they really do care about the food and its service. Btw I even saw @spencerhawes NBA player order here. Which means foods are good here. Sport players know what tastes good! Come and taste!“

“After having been to Driftwood twelve times I can confidently say it’s the only restaurant in Seattle worth dining at.  Lots of places make claims about freshness and local ingredients, but chef Dan Mallahan shops at the Farmers Market two days a week. It’s not a joke or a gimmick. If you want to eat food grown exclusively in Washington State, that tastes real, then Driftwood is the spot. They serve tomatoes that actually have flavor, delicious veggie dishes, and meat and fish that are tender and juicy. They combine so many flavors in a subtle harmony making each bite you take delightful. Not to mention the killer cocktails.  The vibe is beautiful but chill. The staff are lovely and kind. Everything about Driftwood is real. The food, the people, even the hand towels in the bathroom.  Concerned about prices at a farm-to-table restaurant and getting enough to eat? Go with a friend and share two starters and a main. For example, I just had the Olsen Farm Kennebec JoJos, the Piece by Piece Farm Tempura Delicata squash, and the Butcher’s Cut Pork Chop. Yum!“

The happy hour choice of oyster was beyond what I expected! Big, ytasty. I’m a very picky oyster-ess! St. Louis, Mo. is not known for seafood AT ALL. Expensive and just “blah.” Definitely coming back and recommending to oyster loving friends!“

“Had a hankering Sunday evening for an elite Lobstah Roll while in Newport, RI so I did a lil internet searching and Luke's was consistently at the top of the list. Checked out their menu online and saw they offered a Lobster Roll flight! SOLD! Off I went to find parking and get an order ASAP. Found Luke's on the corner on the Wharf and got to ordering with a quickness. Lobster Roll Sampler with three 2 oz half-rolls: lemon butter, spicy honey butter, and truffle butter w/ chips and a soft drink. Choice of Sea Salt or Sea Salt and Vinegar Kettle Chips, and choice of beverage. I got the Sea Salt and Vinegar (duh) and Blueberry Lemonade in a glass bottle. The lobster in their rolls comes cold, but for a $1 upcharge, you can get it warm, which is my preference. I also got an affordably priced Poppy Seed Slaw. Folks - these Lobster Rolls deserve top billing on "Best Of" lists. My fav might have been the truffle butter lobster roll. It adds something I never knew a lobster roll was missing, but they were all delectable. The roll makes the roll, though. Buttery sourdough with the perfect thin layer of crisp. All flavors were well-balanced and left me wanting more, even though it was plenty food to make a satisfying meal with maybe/maybe not room for dessert. I honestly didn't get any dessert nearby because I didn't want to lose the taste of what I just had! The Poppy Slaw was different, but in a good, not-too-different way. It was a little on the dryer side for my liking, but I liked it just the same. I am sorry to other local Lobster Roll vendors because I don't think I'll try anywhere new on my next visit. It'll be Luke's, no doubt. I might even make a special trip just for the rolls sooner rather than later, but that time I will try the chowder too!“

I love their decoration and sea views. Very romantic and elegant restaurant. The food was served quick and all flavors are delicious as well as creative. It is lucky to get the chance to meet the owner Lily, she has great personality. Great smile, being honest & adorable. “Aqua el Goucho James Bushart, General Manager, warmly greeted us as we stepped into his incredible restaurant. He went out of his way to ensure our small group had a memorable experience, from the perfect table, to the numerous great recommendations on the menu. It was refreshing to watch the kitchen staff laugh and enjoy preparing meals. A sign of a great restaurant is a happy, cohesive staff. Our waitress, Natalie, was a joy. Such a sparkling personality and very, very attentive. She ensured everything was perfect. Their Sommelier, Jim, did not disappoint. His wine list is outstanding and featured several very hard to find varietals that we anxiously tried. The food was prepared perfectly; everything was simply over the top! Our group tried a variety from the menu, delicious seafood, steak, and tasty sides. The sea bass, lobster, salmon, scallops were fabulous and left you wanting more. And, the steaks were delicious - prepared perfect. Side dishes were magnificent with the same attention to detail as the main courses, incredible. If you ever get the opportunity to dine at this fine establishment, ask about the Copper River Salmon. Chef prepares this wonderful fish to perfection! “Apparently there is a new soft serve spot in Ballard! I haven't seen this posted anywhere yet, I randomly noticed it walking to another restaurant. There is a window you can get just ice cream or a few other drinks and foods. They have a good selection of soft serve, I got the strawberry swirl in a cake cone. The soft serve is pretty good, it is light and almost whipped in texture and the strawberry flavor is delicious, like strawberry milk. For only $5 I would go again.“

“My husband introduced me to Tai Tung shortly after we were married 60 years ago. My sons grew up eating there and much later my granddaughter did too. The food is exquisite, especially shrimp in crab sauce, the service is impeccable and the ambiance is kind of old fashioned and comfortable. In fact, Tai Tung is and always has been virtually the best restaurant in Seattle.“
