As a Brit living in Seattle for the last few years, I've been searching for a good Fish n Chip emporium. Well, a recent excursion out to Spud in Green Lake didn't disappoint. Excellent service and outstanding food. Thank you!
Last day. Hopefully will return after the remodel in about a year or so
Great place great people great food. Parking is even tolerable.

Spud Fish & Chips is a small café known for its excellent fish & chips, shakes, and clam chowder. The portions are huge, and the batter has a nice texture and seasoning. The tartar sauce is a highlight. The fish & chips are described as delicious, with some customers loving the crispy and tasty fried goodness. Located across the street from Greenlake, parking can be a bit challenging due to its neighborhood setting. The restaurant features some bar seating and a few tables, and a dog friendly patio, creating a cozy and warm environment. Staff members are super helpful, really kind, and provide great service, with an amazingly friendly owner. It has been a family staple for generations, known for its fresh ingredients and tasty batter. Visitors are encouraged to try the wonderful shakes.
