“Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. You will leave with a full, joyous stomach … you will be very satisfied. Happy eating!“

We sat at the tucked away bar and each ordered a hotel sandwich - the Lou Loaf for him and The Pike Girl for me. Both were AMAZING! “I went in for the first time today for lunch after a pretty far walk from work. They are super nice, friendly and chatted with me a bit and explained their different menu options. The Pink Door is one of those rare places that’s somehow both trendy and timeless. We were lucky enough to be seated in the back dining room overlooking the Ferris wheel and the Salish Sea, and the view alone could’ve made the night. But then came the food — and wow. The bacon in the MacGregor was perfect and I loved the cheese on the Pike. They're crispy on the outside, perfect for your favorite toppings, and flakey on the inside. “Underrated Teriyaki and Korean food restaurant with easy take out. Best teriyaki on Rainier and perhaps in town. The only fault that it is closed on Sundays. Quite delicious food options. This is the place you want to go for a delicious meal.“
