“Service staff was super friendly and food was excellent. It's a very quaint atmosphere but also, is a small space so be prepared to take your meal to go as it can get very busy here. This shop is located on the street level of 1st Ave but is accessible from the stair case leading up from the lower levels. I would absolutely eat here again!Parking: Walk here, don't drive. If you do drive be prepared to park in a garage and walk.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm sure you can get a wheelchair in here but I wouldn't bank on it.“
“Great quality coffee and consistency in the espresso based drinks. The macchiato comes with a palate cleanser which so far no other cafe i’ve been to has offered, so, neat. They also have a connected cafe which sells savory breakfast food which you should definitely check out.EDITThis is why I can only get cortados here. The baristas do not play.“
“I have been here almost every single morning since I’ve tried this coffee place! I am totally addicted. I’m going to be bringing everyone I know here, it truly is the best and everyone who works here is so genuinely kind and helpful ❤️ also incredibly quick, quality service for the volume of people they can have! I am so happy to have found this place, I get the iced Salty Coffee please do yourself a favor and go here!!!“
“I really enjoy the atmosphere of this cafe. It seems to support aapi artists and entrepreneurs as there are books and merchandise from creators for display and on sale in thr shop. I got a banh mi as well as some vietnames coffee. The banh mi was quite good. The coffee, was much too sweet for my tastes and I could not enjoy it. If you want to try the coffee for a coffee taste, I suggest not adding any toppings.“
“This place is a hidden gem. 10/10 recommend. The owner is absolutely amazing, so incredibly kind & friendly, & makes amazing food & coffees. Couldn’t recommend this place more. You’ll be taken care of here & all w the view of the space needle. ??“
“Omg! This is a cultural treasure! I randomly ran across this café while running errands downtown and was pleasantly surprised by its well manicured environment, extremely kind staff, and fantastically diverse food. Bison tacos??! Rabbit stew!?!? Give them your money asap. I want to see these on every corner instead of “
“I am often n this neighborhood..needed a lift one day so I went in there. Had no idea what to order because it's a whole new world of coffee drinks. I was a barista for 20 some yrs and I feel like I've seen it all. I stand corrected! *Let me first say this; I in no way intend on steering anyone away from trying this place based on my future statement If a small business, an original of it's kind, one that is not majorly marketed/advertised wants to actually "make it" and stand the test of time; not just do ok and finance some short term goals for the owners. They must think out entirely what it is that generates sustainable customer base. What inspires customers to extend themselves and share w others again and again both positive and negative, within food type experiences? As a naturally curious person, this concept has always been a fascinating one for me. How can businesses get it so wrong/right!? * That being said..It was a fluke the day I entered this place for the first time that a fellow customer walk in and feel like sharing w me the best drink ever for them, one they get repeatedly, and should just take their advice and try it. So, I did. Yep, I'm hooked! It's the only drink I get there and how I look forward to it in between splurges! Let it be noted that if it was not for the other customer, I'd still likely not know what to order or even be writing this book right now. You see, the employees of this great coffee shop are so so untrained/familiar w the concept of, just because you know something doesn't mean anyone else does..and if you are in the business of appeal and temptation/weakness intrigue and indulgence instigating, well you should know everything there is to know about the product and be fluent in it's language. Why am I spending my time sharing this w an unknown audience? It's just in my nature I guess. You see, I really like this place and I am fascinated by their product. I am however so perplexed by their aloofness and lack of connection w the exact people they are there to attract. How do we know what to order, and why should we..how can I not live without including their product in my life on a regular basis?! Because this concept has seemingly missed them completely (the owners) it totally takes a huge part of the impact of how great their product is; away! I mean like literally. After I ordered my same drink around 7-8 times, I was ready to branch out. I've attempted to receive intrigue from the workers w such a failure rate it's a shame. So, I have remained ordering the same ol same ol and it's become redundant and irrelevant. I am slipping away new favorite coffee shop, can't you tell? I now have negative feelings towards you along w the excitement of the new to share w people. Does it take a genius to realize this is no good? Do I want to continue dumping $12-15 each visit (just on my drink and tip) when there is no connection, no interest in what it is they can do to keep me interested? The answer is no probably not. I'll give them a few more chances maybe, then I'll drift away w the open mind of discovering a new favorite coffee shop. Maybe this is why some giants in the same category, irregardless of how actually delicious their product is but more that every single thing they create they r experts in convincing us we must try and love and continue to consume and love and try again , repeat, repeat, repeat, they have stood the test of time? They figured this magic out first, then opened their doors!(PurpleHaze- iced!!!!!)“
“I love everything about this bakery.Costumer service alone is amazing.Jacques and Jeremy make me feel welcomed every time I come in.I go here almost everyday in the morning because of how amazing the food is and how sweet the staff are.I encourage everyone I meet to come and try this place because it’s just wonderful. This is a good place to sit down and read or bring friends to hangout with.Honestly this is a perfect place to take someone for a first date! It’s cozy, has amazing pastries and coffee!! Not only that the service is just out standing!I won’t be surprised when a line starts to form around the block when more people find out about this place.Kid-friendliness: This place is definitely Kid friendly!I see moms come in all the time with their kids and sit down while they both eat the pastries and the mom has her latte!Definitely a must to bring the little ones!!“
“When you see a place that's open 3 days a week for 2 hours per day, you have to be intrigued.Came here on a Thursday and got in line at 8:30am. Sat in a camping chair in the cold patiently waiting for some malasadas.Definitely worth it. I got one of each (lemon curd, strawberry, tiramisu, and chocolate hazelnut - listed in personal preference) with a brownie on the side. To go with my fresh doughnuts, I also ordered an oat-chata.Doughnuts were fresh and enjoyed on the spot. The oat-chata was fantastic and I would go back there just for another one. The brownie was a brownie, but figured I'd give it a try given the wait.Good vibes with the interior. Lovely staff. Would come back here again to sit in a chair to wait for a fresh doughnut.Dietary restrictions: No peanut products detected“
“This is my new favorite shop in town. The staff are really knowledgeable.... thoughtfully advising me on how to dial in espresso shots for the beans I take home. Everyone is friendly, easy to talk to, and they remember what you like... but no one is trying too hard. The coffee is as good as I've had anywhere, across the board...even decaf! The shop may not be in an area where you regularly stroll, but it's absolutely worth going slightly out of the way“
“Best tasting coffees! Pro tip: if you like a mocha, try their Medici. Doesn’t get any better than that. Pastries are all really good too and the Staffs super nice. Cozy inside with a few spots to work and then during the summer they have a few outside tables.“
“This is a takeout / dine-out only spot in a commercial kitchen. The ordering process is admittedly a bit weird (QR code outside building to order on website then call to notify business or ring doorbell from inside in very, very small and often crowded waiting area) but was very quick for a pretty busy evening. The person that helped me was very kind and patient with me as it was my first time. I waited less than 5 minutes. The peach milk tea is, frankly, amazing. I should not have ordered a medium, though; their sizes are very generous! (The prices reflect this, too. I would definitely get a small next time).Very happy to live so close to Tabtea and excited to be a regular customer!“
“Super cute latte art, tasty waffles in a convenient, attractive space. I think I just got there right before the cherry blossom runner rush, so it's hard to judge how busy it usually is, but I'd recommend a trip for a nice early morning bite. Also an easy walk to several transit modes if you're one to enjoy the car-lite life.“
“A favorite spot to stop at when biking around Lake Washington. Not just great Ethiopian coffee, but friendly and love Winnie's home made Sambusas. Generally not crowded. Some soft jazz playing in background. Easy to hold a conversation. Definitely not a mega chain. It's just Winnie's and she's usually behind the counter ...“
“Dietary restrictions: Everything is vegetarian. ? Plus vegan and gluten free options, clearly marked. Alt milks available for drinks.Kid-friendliness: I see people bring kids here all the time. Sometimes there are seasonal coloring pages up on display!“
“Good coffee! They had a lot of really tasty looking pastries but I decided to pass. Nice guy at the front counter. Also nice atmosphere. I should have brought my laptop. Lots of people enjoying coffee and typing away. This seems like a good spot to hang out.“
“It's my first time buying here. I am Venezuelan and I have wanted to try these donuts for a long time. I bought the one with guava cheese and 3 milks. Very rich! The only thing is that I didn't like the chocolate base on the 3 leches donut. But I did want to come back and try others on the menu. The hours are a little complicated but I was lucky enough to walk around the area early and visit the store :)“
“Lovely staff, outstanding cocktails, and superb sushi with a kitchen that is open fairly late. I have celiac disease and the gluten free menu is quite extensive. I've never had an issue here. They can do takeout when the place isn't too busy, but take the time to sit down if you can.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options! I'm sensitive to cross contamination, and have done well here.“
“Needed a quick breakfast and stumbled upon this cafe, it was just what I needed. Cool vibe, friendly staff and quick service.I got the basic breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, rye toast and sausage. The texture of some eggs can throw me off, but these were perfect.“
“Stopped in on a Saturday late morning - there was a line, but it moved fast and there were seats available. Enjoyed coffee and breakfast sandos and took some treats home. Everything was delicious, our sandwiches came up quickly & piping hot. No complaints whatsoever. Will definitely be back!“
“Food is good. Online ordering/payment system is NOT GOOD. Here’s why:-It says 5-10 minutes for pickup but then when you go to check out the earliest time you can choose is 25-30 min-You have to sign up for a “Joe” account-The default payment option is to hook up a bank account…who does this to pay for a sandwich?-The tip selection is BROKEN! I entered 2.00 for the tip. Good think I double-checked because the webpage entered $52!!! It might have taken 200% instead of $2.Anyway, this online ordering system really made me frustrated and took away from the food experience. The sandwiches and burritos are great though.“
“This neighborhood coffee shop is the best. Everything about it. Friendly, delicious coffees and food, incredible back patio. The atmosphere is the cherry on top. You’ll feel right at home whether it’s your first or 100th visit. I usually just get a latte but when the weather warms up the oatnilla cold brew is my jam. Nothing like it, beyond delicious.“
“We ordered mocha, matcha latte, almond croissant and cinnamon roll croissant. Everything was amazing especially the bakery. The almond croissant was the best I've ever had, very nutty, hint of marzipan and the crust was perfect! Besides, the cashier was really nice and friendly, very helpful and the store was super chic and well decorated.“
“A small cafe which you order at the window.Right outside of the bubblegum wall. The menu is there but they have more than what they offer on the menu. Do not shy to ask for other drinks. The coffee is not bad, give it a try when you are there.“
“we stumbled upon this filipino cafe while walking around chinatown. the reviews looked good so we gave it a shot.first, such cute decor and nice lighting. we were greeted warmly by the cashier and i knew this would immediately be great. sadly they ran out of decaf, but i'm willing to compromise for getting the dangerously delicious ube latte.no idea how they got such a stunning color, but damn it was addicting to look at and to drink.“
“My friends and I did the moew-ga (cat yoga) it was really fun I was nervous however everyone in there was super nice and chill and weren’t looking at you while exercising so that was a big plus for me. Josie was our instructor- she is very kind and very calming the whole session lead by her and I felt at such a sense of peace I throughly enjoyed everything from the yoga to the kitties to being able to feed them for their dinner too that was such a pleasant surprise?“
“This little ice cream/coffee shop was definitely worth the visit. The inside is clean and the aesthetic is charming. Ordering from the touch screen was fun, allowing us to customize our flavors. There were six-nine flavors of ice cream to choose from and tons of toppings! I got the cherry blossom with rainbow sprinkles and it was unique. I felt like the ice cream was almost too sweet and the aftertaste was really sugary, but I did enjoy the soft serve texture. I would be interested in trying their other flavors in the future!“
“Amazing service and ambiance every time I come in. I ordered the dirty chai latte one time and now I order it every time. The employees here are so friendly and if you are sitting to study or chat with friends in this cafe, they deliver your coffee directly to your table! There is always seating when I come in on a weekday afternoon to get work done. Next time I want to come earlier to try out some pastries!“
“I was looking for a warm and cozy coffee shop to get out of the rain last week in Seattle. I came across Basecamp and I'm really glad I did. I think it's one of my favorite coffee shops from an atmosphere standpoint with warm woods, cozy furniture, and all the ski gear around you makes you feel like you're sitting in a ski Lodge. It's so nice to have a place that isn't an ultra modern coffee shop, which can be very cold in their white and gray minimalistic designs. The staff was super friendly. I enjoyed a chai latte with oat milk and thought it was delicious. Try it out!“
“Monorail is my #1 recommendation for folks visiting Seattle, and my go-to when I'm in town. There are just enough locations downtown to be close to a spot, and their new location next to the Summit Convention Center building makes it an even easier endorsement. The coffee is smooth, from a single cappuccino, a traditional macchiato or a really indulgent mocha their roasting and preparation shines through. Really. Smooth. Coffee.Cookies and scones are also delicious, with their cookies being a great choice. Almost scone-like in shape, they are an "almost-dough" cookie with a nice amount of chocolate chips.Great place, highly recommended.“
“Extremely friendly service and absolutely delicious food. The waffles are fresh made and you can’t go wrong with a breakfast sandwich made out of two of them.Parking: Small lot for the shopping complex so you may have to resort to street parking.“
“I've been coming here a few times a week for a couple years now. Some of my favorite coffee on the hill and definitely my favorite selection of treats. They offer savory and sweet options which is a must for me. Any of their tropical flavored donuts are amazing but my favorite right now has to be their incredible mochi donuts(way better than the chain ones in my opinion). The employees are very sweet and make an effort to remember you if you come in regularly. Can't recommend it enough!“
“This is our go-to coffee shop in the area and we come in almost every other day. The coffee that’s roasted in house is top-notch. We’ve ordered several different things (black coffee, cappuccinos, cortados, lattes, decaf, etc) and realized you can’t really go wrong with anything here, including the baked goods. Service is great too- we always seem to run into the same three workers behind the counter, and all have been great. The lines can get pretty long, especially on the weekends. You can even run into a decent sized line on weekdays, but at least the lines usually move pretty fast. Overall, highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area- you won’t be disappointed!“
“The lychee lemongrass green tea with boba was pretty good. The boba was fresh too. Unfortunately they were out of all their food except their turkey and I'm a vegetarian so I wasn't able to try the food. The staff were fine, though seemed unsure of how to respond to the houseless individual pacing about the front of the store between various tables for about 30 minutes or more. He seemed distressed and was also disrupting others. Perhaps more support for the staff in this regard would be helpful. Other than that the ambiance was very peaceful and it made a good place to read or study. The lack of bathroom even for customers did seem somewhat strange though. I might come back in the future and hopefully try the food.“
“THE BEST ICE CREAM EVER! and that's on period! I went with a group of friends today after we visited Oregon and have been craving for a treat, this place has been on top of my list and it was definitely worth it!?: 10/10. I got the banana pudding and the lemon chessecake flavors! (I mis-read it as bunna pudinna) The ice cream are very silky, dense and rich! The banana pudding reminds me of a nice banana frappucino with banana pieces in it!! And they are not too sweet at all!???10/10. Shout out to the owner who gave us the free cookies!!! She is so sweet, kind and patient, and gave us a lot of suggestions and allows us to sample many flavors! Their service definitely stands out from all the ice cream places that I have ever been to!?7/10. A lot of nice plants and cute decors, really nice and clean. I just wish they are located in a nerighborhood that are more convenient and nice! Looking forward to your next location in Seattle!“
“What a fabulous coffee shop. They make the drink exactly how you want it and it will be amazing. The service is spectacular and the music is pleasant. My only request would be to offer real cups for those of us who can sit and drink our coffee.“
“This is one of my favorite doughnut shops in Seattle. It's a really huge space with a lot of seating an an upstairs area. They have a lot of cake doughnuts, which are good but I prefer the fluffy texture of yeast-raised doughnuts. Their drinks are decent and the Sproda is surprisingly good. I'd love to see a bigger selection of yeast-raised doughnuts, but overall this place is great.“
“Always such a treat to visit Bake Shop :)It’s a beautifully designed shop, and I love that they serve Miro tea and have yummy vegan options. I don’t live quite nearby but try to make it over whenever I’m in the area because it’s just that good!I also love their beautiful reusable dishes. I really appreciate the commitment to sustainability!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options!“
“I came here with my boyfriend expecting it to be good. It exceeded expectations though. We wanted a cold brew, but they did not have it. We got an iced coffee instead. Normally I don’t like iced coffee because it tends to tastes burnt. This was delicious and smooth like a cold brew though. The staff were chill too. I highly recommend it.“
“There are two Storyvilles in SeattleThis is the branch located on the second floor of Pike Place MarketGreat light pours into the interiorA cup of latte costs US$9.37 (nearly NT$300) which is higher than the average, but the portion is good, it’s a super large cup size! You won’t be able to drink it all (a great deal! The cinnamon rolls are so delicious! Very crispy! (but a little sweet)You can also add syrup~it’s already delicious without adding it!Highly recommended!“
“Went here a couple weeks ago and the vegan flavors were gas. Also the girl who worked there. I think her name was Nola she was incredible. The store was very clean and I loved the vibe it had. The forest berry flavor is amazing 9.69/10. Prices were a little high so my overall rating for this place is a solid 7.3 due to the high prices“
“I am so happy that Coffee Tree & Bop moved into this space. Every other week I treat myself to breakfast, and I am never let down when CT&B is my choice. I have worked through all their breakfast sandwiches and my favorite is a toss-up between the Hawaiian and the classic Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. I'm always greeted with a smile and quick service, and I really enjoy the offer of caramelized onions (it's always a yes from me).It is such a joy to have this wonderful establishment on my way to work!“
“The cafe Nico is good, it's their original house coffee drink and it's subtly sweet and tasty. The scone was ok, at best. The staff are very nice and attentive and the place feels iconic and unique. There's no doubt why this is a Seattle must for coffee.“
“My coworker and I just moved into a new office space nearby and we walked over for a couple of breakfast sandwiches to-go this morning. It cannot be overstated that the folks behind the counter are friendly, attentive and warm. Our sandwiches were wonderfully prepared and wrapped with care. We were both raving about the food before we even tasted it because it smelled so good and it was packaged so nicely. They knocked it out of the park -- perfectly cooked bacon egg and cheese on a perfectly toasted english muffin. Just a wonderful experience. Can't wait for my next breakfast at Blue Heron :)“
“Best coffee shop in Seattle - consistently delicious espresso & coffee, great food, the friendliest service, and plenty of comfortable places to sit whether working or meeting with a friend. The loft has the best view!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to entrance“
“Cute yet cultural atmosphere with seating! Lovely kitschy decor, affordable breakfast and lunch options. The seasonal pera toast with goat cheese was *chefs kiss* as the pears were perfectly ripe! Very sweet lattes, candy, sweet pink decor too.“
“This place was amazing, I popped in after dropping my dog at daycare and the service was amazing. They greeted me as soon as I opened the door and pointed me to the menu. They made my bagel sandwich to order which was amazing and they even asked if I liked hot things and added hot sauce to my bagel, delicious!! So affordable. I'll definitely be back:)“
“I think i found my favorite coffee shop in seattle. Got a feeling i was gonna love it the moment I stepped into this shop. While the coffee was great, the atmosphere is something I fell in love with. Well maintained outdoor seating that you’re gonna love on a pleasant sunny day!“
“If I could give 10 stars this little place of ? would have them! The ambiance of the place, they have all the extra's right there, not behind the counter! Free wi-fi for all customers! And wall plug-ins for almost EVERY customer! And drum roll please ######.... A nice bathroom! That is just for you clean with a lock! This is the "old Seattle" pre " Fentonal Cataclysm"..... After cataclysm no public bathroom, wi-fi, no good service..... And the best things here that I forgot to mention..... The people who work here! Awesome no other word needed. And the music really good not too loud.Vegetarian options: They have different type of vegetarian options availableDietary restrictions: Not sureParking: Plenty of street parking, plus park next door with free parking.Kid-friendliness: This is more of an adult teenage place. There's not toys really things like that here. But kids are welcome of course!Wheelchair accessibility: This is wheelchair accessible.“
“Finally…! Best Cold Brew & Pour Over in Seattle!(Blossom: Ethiopia Guji & Prolog: Kenyan Kigari)Owners are warm, inviting, and respectful.Prefer a darker roast? Opt for an espresso w/ homemade cream.Delicious toast options. Highly recommend the Ricotta Tomato Toast. Quality healthy Avocado Toast.Seating fills up. A hotspot for college study sessions. Be prepared to wait or take to go.“
