Stupidly delicious and croissants with dependable flakiness (special shout-out to raspberry and pistachio), not sure what sort of witchcraft happens in the kitchen but I'm happily part of the cult.

I came here several times over the span of a couple months and never had a bad cup of coffee. I also tried one of their pizza pastries, and it was excellent.
The baristas are always super friendly. The shop also constantly has a lot of people in it, which makes for a great cozy neighborhood vibe.
My only complaint is that the prices are quite steep ($7-$8 for a pastry) and my coffee was usually $9-$10 with tax and tip.

Amazing pastries that are made in house (love the coffee cake) and a solid drip! Space is small/cozy though and more a place for yourself and or one friend than your family to hang.

Despite being small, the staff is very kind and accommodating, even when busy. The cafe is conveniently located near plenty of bus options and the U District Light Rail Station, making it easy to visit.
