“This place is a hidden gem. 10/10 recommend. The owner is absolutely amazing, so incredibly kind & friendly, & makes amazing food & coffees. Couldn’t recommend this place more. You’ll be taken care of here & all w the view of the space needle. ??“
“Love the mushroom based coffee (Tried Brainwash Latte) and their baked goods (Mini Chocolate Croissant). The mushroom coffee is not like the usual ones you would have that are either too thick, “muddy”, or extremely strong on taste buds. I would describe Wunderground version as soft on tastebuds and very powerful on effect. As for their staff and service, sweet and humble.Highly recommend the place for a quick grab/sit down, coworking, or just the weekend chill solo/friends coffee hangout spot.“
“Food: 5/5 best croissant/pastries I've had in Seattle Coffee: 5/5 best cold brew we've had Price: 4/5 Service: 4/5 (only bc there's often a lot of people) BEST pastries and croissants of all bakeries I've been to in Seattle (and I've been to a lot). It's the exact right texture, flakiness, butter, and size - closest to French croissants you can get in Seattle. Great espresso drinks and some of the best cold brew we've had as well in Seattle. Runners up include L'Experience on Mercer Island (though it's a little pricey) and Baked Flours in Beacon Hill. The only downside is sometimes it's crowded (probably bc it's so good) so you might have to just go in and out. But the coffee and pastries are really second to none and we also pick up their in-house made unique preserves on occasion which are wonderful! Their Burien location is much larger with more inventory of jams, coffee, etc you can buy and space to sit down. We just don't make it out there often but it's a great location.“
“I have been craving a donut for the last few days and I'm so glad to have found this place. The gentleman behind the counter couldn't have been nicer and the donuts were sooooo good! I live in Capitol Hill but would gladly make the trek back here again and then this time buy a dozen.“
“What a gem! The pasteia de nata was absolute perfection - custard filling and crust cooked beautifully and tasted authentic. The samosa was the best I've had in a while - lentils were spiced and flavor balanced. I can't wait to return and try more of the menu!“
“When you see a place that's open 3 days a week for 2 hours per day, you have to be intrigued.Came here on a Thursday and got in line at 8:30am. Sat in a camping chair in the cold patiently waiting for some malasadas.Definitely worth it. I got one of each (lemon curd, strawberry, tiramisu, and chocolate hazelnut - listed in personal preference) with a brownie on the side. To go with my fresh doughnuts, I also ordered an oat-chata.Doughnuts were fresh and enjoyed on the spot. The oat-chata was fantastic and I would go back there just for another one. The brownie was a brownie, but figured I'd give it a try given the wait.Good vibes with the interior. Lovely staff. Would come back here again to sit in a chair to wait for a fresh doughnut.Dietary restrictions: No peanut products detected“
“As I was walking through University Village I could smell the delicious aroma of fresh baked cookies. I literally couldn’t help myself and headed directly to “Hello Robin” cookies. I walked in the door and was pleasantly greeted by three super friendly cookie makers. I absolutely knew what I wanted as it's not my first visit to this amazing cookie shop. I ordered the Birthday Cake and the Mackles'more. Everyday can be a birthday with a birthday cake cookie! The sprinkles literally make me smile. Mackles'more are a s'more cookie with a chunk of Theo chocolate. These cookies are heaven on earth. There are quite a few other deeeelish cookies. But, these are my all time faves! The store is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. All around great experience whenever I visit. If you love cookies as much as I do... Then you must give "Hello Robin" a try. I absolutely recommend these cookies to cure your sweet tooth.Vegetarian options: Maybe!!! I mean it’s a cookie….Dietary restrictions: Again…. It’s a cookie! lolParking: Lots of parking at U Village.Kid-friendliness: Ummm cookies!!Wheelchair accessibility: Sure is!“
“We arrived early on a Friday morning, and everything was straight out of the oven and still getting placed on display. Very friendly staff. The four cheese empanada and beef empanada were delicious, with a crispy and flaky exterior and plenty of filling inside. All of the pastries looked amazing, we went with a coconut dulce de leches alfajore and quince bread.“
“Best tasting coffees! Pro tip: if you like a mocha, try their Medici. Doesn’t get any better than that. Pastries are all really good too and the Staffs super nice. Cozy inside with a few spots to work and then during the summer they have a few outside tables.“
“Incredible foot with friendly service.Be prepared for a long line. It is worth the wait.We ordered avocado toast and two bread fried egg sandwich with bacon. Both items were awesome. For the road, we purchased a chocolate croissant. It was the BEST thing we have eaten in a long while!!!! Flakey and tasty.Highly recommend SAINT BREAD“
“Sweetest staff for the most yummy sweets. Also I was so happy I could purchase something for under $10! Jalapeno cheese bread stick was good. Egg sandwich was amazing and great for a quick Lenten lunch!Parking: Parking is on the side of the building“
“This is my local coffee and pastry shop which I frequent on weekdays. It’s also one of my favorites because they serve Broadcast Coffee (nice and strong and clean) and their pastries are freshly baked and gone by mid morning. Staff are always friendly, efficient and focused on serving or restocking because it’s always super busy.We went on a Saturday for the first time and forgot that there’s always a 10-15min lineup on weekends. For Easter they had hot cross buns and glossy pink bunnies! Their croissants and pastries are so good fresh out of the oven and the breads are always phenomenal. The egg cheese bacon English muffin is small but yummy! The cafe is sparse, clean and doesn’t get too loud. They have ample seating downstairs and upstairs but phone service up there. Super chill place with patrons who are there to work or meetup.“
“We really enjoyed the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, the bread it was on and the sauce were amazing. The avocado toast was great as well and made on amazing bread. I wish it was a little less lemon forward as it was quite tart. The coconut pie doesn’t have much coconut flavor which was disappointing, I just expected more from the signature dessert.“
“They have such a wide variety food, pastries, and bread, all of which are delicious. Their espresso drinks are delightful as well. The atmosphere is wonderful as well! It's a really nice cafe to grab a snack and spend some time doing work or just relaxing!“
“Popped in here randomly one time and got a strawberry sando which was so delicious. BUT every time I try to come back it’s closed and I can’t find anything about their hours (googles are clearly incorrect)… like… when are yall open??“
“Came here for brunch on our way out of Seattle. Delicious food, especially the spam musubi, atmosphere is cozy and relaxed and the staff are super friendly and cool. We had to go back in and grab more musubi for the road before we left. Would definitely eat here again next time I'm in the “
“Stopped in on a Saturday late morning - there was a line, but it moved fast and there were seats available. Enjoyed coffee and breakfast sandos and took some treats home. Everything was delicious, our sandwiches came up quickly & piping hot. No complaints whatsoever. Will definitely be back!“
“OMG! This bakery is so customer focused! From the first call to place my order to me literally sitting in a 3 minute zone in downtown Seattle while they brought my order to my car. I surprised my friend on his birthday and I couldn't believe how thick and delicious these brownies were. Thank you Akatsu! I'll be back.“
“Oh my goodness ... Brotherman & company are doing it! Not only did it smell phenomenal in here, the atmosphere was warm and cozy.Brother man came from behind the curtain. Like the wizard of oz, and I immediately got excited. OK OK, okkkkklay , wait, let me back it up. I just lied to you all, I actually got excited when we pulled up. And I saw all the little black illustrations. Mix with the Asian flare, you know. It's always a good day when brown town sticks together!!!Go back to the experience, Like I mentioned, he came from behind the curtain like the wizard of oz..Let me pause for the cause and give a shot out to the INTENTIONALIST, (if ya know, ya know..it's an IG THANG) Because of Laura , get to re-discover my city in a BLACK&BROWN dope kinda way! It's crazy that I am actually from Seattle. But I feel like I take this to stranger in regards to how much it has changed, especially all of the gentrification ??I am so happy and please that for the month of February. The intentionalist Team is offering a BLACK history month pass, which includes ten stops that you can get special free goodies from...Super dope that UMAMI KUSHI was on the list!I'll be honest. I have seen this place a few times going to that corner store, But every single time it is closed, once we drove up on it today, I instantly got excited and knew the full circle of how I felt before even coming to explore. We selected the jerk chicken and curry beef options. Finally, I made it to the house and stuck them in the oven, flipping it over once .. And having the bright idea to take their chimmi-churi sauce and mix it with some spicy Mayo I got from a sushi place. How did the lyrics go??? " I'm in heaven, simply heaven..." Yes, like that.Safe to say. I am from Seattle, like I mentioned before. And I am most Def sleeping on this food. Additionally, if you haven't tried it, so are you!!The flavor was phenomenal, the crunch was superb, it hit all the right taste buds , and it made me say DAMN WHY DIDN'T I BUT ANOTHER ONE??And I'll leave you with this. They even have a tofu option. And I'll be the first to admit proudly. I am not again. I repeat for the people in the back. I'm not not a fan of tofu, but i'm excited to go back and actually select their tofu version as well. This was just a great vibe of a place. It was warm and inviting. The illustrations are so fun that you wanna take the idea home in slap it on your own wall.Brotherman was amazing!! All the way from his respect level, his hospitality. What he stands for is what he's doing. The knowledge he shared is energy and everything in between. We will MOS DEF be back when we can!!Appreciate you for sharing your love and passion in your food , right there off of SEWARD PARK.“
“Killer bread and pastries and absolutely delicious pastries and sweet treats. This is clearly a huge neighborhood favorite so get there early to stand in line. The super friendly service more than makes up for the wait. Not a ton of space to sit inside without being bumped into, but there are a couple of outdoor seating options.“
“I was so hungry because I missed my breakfast due to overslept and almost late for my work. I drove to Seattle for work from my home Tacoma. When I had little time, I searched for donuts on Yelp. I found this place. It popped up so I was like I see a small place...is a donut good? When I got there, I see friendly service! Quiet service due to the morning. I tried an Ube icing on a donut. So tasty!! Will come back for more!! Highly recommend!!“
“The girl in front of me apparently came back for four more Wild Strawberry macarons, so that influenced me to try one out also. Delicious! I also got their seasonal Tart Cherry which was good, but the Wild strawberry was better, plus it comes in cute two-tone colors. There was a short line, but it moved quickly.“
“I've been here twice and in those two visits I've had friendly knowledgeable welcoming greetings from the staff. Bakery atmosphere is soft and relaxing, clean and organized. The bakery has the most amazing treats fresh baked in-house.Frittata is delicious, although I believe it's seasonal.Recommend 10/10!“
“Always such a treat to visit Bake Shop :)It’s a beautifully designed shop, and I love that they serve Miro tea and have yummy vegan options. I don’t live quite nearby but try to make it over whenever I’m in the area because it’s just that good!I also love their beautiful reusable dishes. I really appreciate the commitment to sustainability!Dietary restrictions: Vegan options!“
“Cakes Of Paradise has delivered the community with such delicious cakes and treats for years. I love their fruity cakes, rainbow, guava, passionfruit are my favorites!! Rainbow is probably the most favorite, since it has a taste of them all and more. They're spongy, moist and so flavorful. I know some people love their dobash cake, which isn't my favorite but I also don't rave over chocolate cakes. If so it's gotta be rich for my liking. BUT the cakes I do like are rich in fruity-ness and check all my boxes. Whether it's for a birthday, baby shower, wedding, or even a Tuesday night their cakes and treats are so delicious. A little pricey but well worth the creativity and craftsmanship! I'll have to try more than their cakes and donuts one day. They also have pies and more goodies. I like that the place is bright, smells great and has a little seating area as well. It's welcomes you to eat your goodies while there, but away from the line to check out. More recently I've picked up slices to go, and service was professional and quick! If you haven't tried, it's worth the visit!“
“This is one of my favorite doughnut shops in Seattle. It's a really huge space with a lot of seating an an upstairs area. They have a lot of cake doughnuts, which are good but I prefer the fluffy texture of yeast-raised doughnuts. Their drinks are decent and the Sproda is surprisingly good. I'd love to see a bigger selection of yeast-raised doughnuts, but overall this place is great.“
“This is an amazing jewel box of a bakery with lovely Scandinavian-French vennoiserie. We were on the way to Pike Place for a coffee but made a detour to this neighborhood place. The coffee is outstanding as well as the variety of pastries. I has a delicious cinnamon kouign amann and my husband had the Swedish style cinnamon roll. Absolutely delicious!“
“the purple vanilla soft serve was fantastic! really cool choices too on their menu, blended “quakes” with toppings and sauces. i was just in the mood for a cup of plain vanilla and it definitely satisfied the craving! would def return and recommend! :)“
“There are two Storyvilles in SeattleThis is the branch located on the second floor of Pike Place MarketGreat light pours into the interiorA cup of latte costs US$9.37 (nearly NT$300) which is higher than the average, but the portion is good, it’s a super large cup size! You won’t be able to drink it all (a great deal! The cinnamon rolls are so delicious! Very crispy! (but a little sweet)You can also add syrup~it’s already delicious without adding it!Highly recommended!“
“I was lucky enough to have a friend bring me some almond croissants when he was visiting. I got pastries here years ago, and I had forgotten how large and flavorful they were. There's a nice crust on top and just the right amount of marzipan. Again, the croissants are huge. Definitely reheat them in the oven before consuming!“
“Came here during my first ever visit to Seattle and this spot did not disappoint!! Their wide array of baked items make it almost impossible to pick - but I do recommend their rotating pastries! I had a mushroom croissant-like pastry and a pear-yogurt sweet pastry, both were to die for. Service was immaculate, I felt so welcomed and appreciated the help selecting what to get. The space it large, inviting, and has tons of windows for natural light - the perfect spot to read a good book while munching on some yummy food and sipping on a delicious coffee!“
“Cool place - good drinks and pastry options.Lots of seating (mostly inside, with a few tables out front). There are range of seats that do have plugs nearby & are comfy.Ordered their specialty drink - iced matcha & blueberry with oat milk (great flavor).Strawberry scone was good, would try other items next visit.“
“My favorite bakery in Seattle! I live a few blocks away and stop in most mornings. The food is delicious, the beverages are just right and the price selection is perfect for my weekly budget! Definitely stop in if you’re looking for the best cafe in Seattle!“
“I grew up in New York and I've been looking for a good bagel at a reasonable price ever since I moved to Seattle - this place has great bagels shipped from New York with a good schmear. The one thing I'd like to see is different flavors of cream cheese (Scallion, veggie etc.) but other than that I will be back when I'm in the area for bagels.“
“Piroshky Piroshky did not disappoint! The line moved very fast, and the staff was knowledgeable and wanted to make your experience positive. The PNW weather was typical that day, so the staff kept the line of guests underneath the covered awning while we waited for our turn. My food was well-sized for the portion and amount, it came warm and flaky, just how I imagined!“
“Stopped for an Americano, and they had samples of a boysenberry Mazurka. Delicious! Had to buy one. The next day, I couldn't help but stop again for a repeat of both. If I lived in the area, it would be dangerous as I'd eventually have to try one of everything.2 different customers brought their well-behaved dogs who were given fresh looking treats. Great neighborhood vibe. People were socializing, and I didn't feel like the outsider I was.“
“The owners are amazing! The best Doughnuts I’ve had to be honest, very lite and fluffy even a couple hours after being made! We live in lake city but will be back to this place when we’re out in the area and suggest everyone here to stop in and support a true gem in the area!Dietary restrictions: They made sure things are labeled if they were not vegan!“
“I was so happy to stumble upon this store. I bought a 4-pack of truffles and each was a delight to eat! The salted caramel and Mayan truffles were especially amazing. There are also vegan options for folks. Looking forward to visiting again the next time I’m in Ballard!“
“My kids and I were running an errand and thank goodness we had some time to spare and were able to stop by Alexandra‘s. These macaroons are amazing! We got half a dozen, each one, a different flavor, and I couldn’t find one. I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. I honestly will go out of my way just to be in the area so we have an excuse go back. 10/10“
“Huge and deliciously addictive donuts. I especially recommend the maple bars and the old fashioneds. My coworkers used to run up here from our SODO location during our break and pick up a dozen. We called the maple bars "aircraft carriers" because of their size.“
“Embarrassingly, we’ve lived in the Central District for six years and had not yet tried Golden Wheat. This feels like the kind of gem that could disappear if not enough folks support it and guess what, once you try it, you’ll want to go here all the time.My wife and I walked up to get some baked goods and ended up getting a loaf of sourdough (so soft, so yum), a couple croissants (best one I’ve had in Seattle), a croissant breakfast sandwich (so big and delicious), and a horchata latte (I’m addicted, I think). The best past though? The two sweet ladies that were efficiently and kindly doing it all - taking orders, making lattes, baking croissants, and even making sure the free samples were being served up.Oh yea, we will be back!Vegetarian options: Baked goods galore, tamales and empanadas with vegetarian options, vegetarian breakfast sandwiches (not vegan)“
“We ordered half a dozen cookies and got a mix of everything. If I had to do it again, I would order half of the classic chocolate chip and mackles''more cookies. Those were my absolutely favorite! Both had the right amount of gooey chocolate chip that melts in your mouth yet salty and sweet. I will 100% come back!!! The staff were super sweet and gave me recommendations on what to order too. There's not really anywhere to sit though, this is more of a to-go place.“
“Get Baked Cookies are a triumph of flavor, texture, and nostalgia. The pecan pie, with each bite, transports the palate to a simpler time, where the joys of homemade baking reign supreme. Also, it doesn't hurt that the staff is extremely kind and eager to serve you.“
“Stopped by early in the day for pre hike pastries. I got the spinach feta pastry, blackberry cream cheese danish and Kringle slice. Everything was fresh and pretty delicious. I got things warmed up. I usually don't like almond forward pastries as I don't like the almond essence flavour. But that was really not the case here where almond was subtle and more in texture. Overall pastries were a little on the sweeter side for me but I can see why this place is famous.“
“Great cakes, lovely service. A message to the owners: your business is being impersonated in phishing e-mails sent to me and several of my coworkers. Please let your cybersecurity team or owners know about this. These fraudulent e-mails may trick unsuspecting customers into leaving negative reviews.“
“Good coffee. Went on weekend so they didn’t have much food and drip coffee options. they made me Americano coffee which was really great. It’s really relax and laid-back place. They also sell wine and coffee beans.if you want to work they also have Wi-Fi option and there are some bakery items too. The guy at the counter was really helpful and welcoming. Parking can be a little bit tricky but it’s all street parking, it’s relatively huge place and can be a good spot for working overall it’s really good I wish I could had chance to eat some breakfast sandwich.“
“They have a wonderful selection of sweet treats and little pizza squares. I stop by to get a couple cookies whenever I have family coming to visit for them try. The staff also always sweet and welcoming.Dietary restrictions: They have nice vegan and gluten-free options“
“Looking for morning coffee and saw this basket that has great ratings on Yelp. The ginger coconut scone I got was really great. I love the texture of the coconut and candied ginger. Loved it. We also got the salted pretzel. Enjoyed that this bakery offered unique choices not found at other bakeries. Wish they had coffee, but maybe in the near future.“
“My friend recommended me this place. Great place to study! I honestly came here to buy the sticker but their pastry took me by surprise. Their matcha muffin has red bean filling inside and it was delicious. Everything here has a Japanese twist to it and i love that. Lots of seats inside with stable WiFi. The barista was nice as well.“
“Service staff was super friendly and food was excellent. It's a very quaint atmosphere but also, is a small space so be prepared to take your meal to go as it can get very busy here. This shop is located on the street level of 1st Ave but is accessible from the stair case leading up from the lower levels. I would absolutely eat here again!Parking: Walk here, don't drive. If you do drive be prepared to park in a garage and walk.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm sure you can get a wheelchair in here but I wouldn't bank on it.“
