“Easiest 5 stars I've given in my life.. If you are in downtown and looking for a baked good, stop searching and get yourself to Mirabelle ASAP. Nowhere else in Seattle will a butter croissant genuinely melt in your mouth - the details in the shop are impeccably accurate, down to the cafe tables and lights in the shop - my cortisol levels drop every time I eat here. Truly a piece of Paris and Europe in Seattle - nothing comes close.“

“I had the classic meatloaf sandwich and it was excellent. We were just walking around and found an empty bar area and sat down and apparently it was the seating area for the bakery for folks that wanted to grab a quick bite instead of take out. Either ways, the service was excellent and all the sandwiches my group got were delicious and at a good price.“

“Fuji bakery's strawberry shortcake is my favourite dessert in the WORLD so my husband and I ordered it for our wedding two weeks ago as a cutting cake. Susien was so wonderful and gave me so much good advice as I tried to decide what size cake I wanted and how I wanted it to look. The final cake was gorgeous and delicious and the perfect wedding cake for“

“if you’re in Seattle, whether for work or just visiting, make sure you stop by Pufftown Bakehouse.
The owners are some of the kindest people you’ll meet. One morning I watched them give warm food and hand warmers to someone who needed it...just the kind of place you feel good supporting.
On top of that, the food is incredible, and it’s one of the only spots downtown where you can grab something great before 7am.
My go-to move: grab a coffee from Starbucks, then swing by Pufftown for what might be the best croissants I’ve ever had. The butter croissant is so light and flaky and the egg croissant is delicious.“

“Love this place! We come a few times a month and I try to get a Too Good To Go bag as often as I can snag it! My favorites are basic - ham and cheddar rye croissant, brownie, cacao nib chocolate chip cookie, but you really can't go wrong. Their breakfast sandwich on the house English muffins is perfectly greasy and delicious, the lime and caramel tart is divine, and the macarons and sour cherry slice are so pleasant. The rotating menu is fascinating and always fun to try out new flavors!!“

“My wife and I have loved Saint Bread since their opening. We knew we wanted to share their delicious food with our wedding guests. Kimberly was so thoughtful and helped us prepare an assortment of pastries and coffee to share with our guests at our wedding rehearsal. All of our guests loved the food! We have never had something from Saint Bread we did not devour in 30 seconds. Thank you, Saints!“

“Although finding parking is a bit of a challenge, this place did not disappoint. I chose a variety of items to try, the regular croissant, the chocolate hazelnut croissant, the pan au chocolat, and the Kouign amann. Each and everyone of them was amazing. Perfectly flaky and soft all at the same time, the flavors out of this world.“

“Daily Dozen was one of our favorite food stops at Pike Place Market during our family trip to Seattle.
We ended up getting two dozen plain mini donuts across two different days, once on our Pike Place Market day and again on our aquarium day. The line was only a few minutes long when we went, and it was fun being able to watch the donuts being made.
The donuts were fresh, warm, soft, and airy without being too dense. They were simple, but really good. Our 3-year-old daughter absolutely loved them and they became one of the foods she remembered most from the trip.
The price felt in line with Pike Place Market tourist pricing, and the quality made them worth it for us.
Highly recommend stopping here if you are visiting Pike Place. They are easy to share, easy to eat while walking around, and a really fun market treat.“

“Oh my goodness! This bakery has so many yummy treats! Some of our favorites were the churro cruffin, pear crème brûlée, blueberry pastry, almond croissant, and the ham and cheese croissant. Don’t miss this gem!“

“The chocolate cake is so delicious...and available by the slice. My usual purchase is a slice of leek and gruyere quiche, or quiche Lorraine, but you need to get to the bakery early as the quiches sell out quickly. The hot coffee mocha is mighty fine, too.“

“I had a few different things from here - all part of their baked goods.
First, the seasonal focaccia - which this time was the brie and fruit variety. This was interesting. It didn't really have the crispy outside that you really look for in focaccia, as it felt more soft than crunchy. The inside was solid enough though, easily tearable and relatively soft and fluffy. Didn't taste much of the fruit and brie here.
Second, the cheddar lye roll wasn't very good. There's something about it that just doesn't work - I think it's the way the cheddar is baked too much into the roll. I like cheddar, but it just tasted weird in this instance. The lye roll also felt too hard.
What I liked the best, though, was the savory croissant. Looking at this, you wouldn't be able to tell that its a croissant at all. It's square shaped, and contains filling in the middle like a boat. This had ricotta, snap peas, and chili in the middle. The pastry layers here were very good - being quite flaky and crunchy. The inside also had a good balance of very mild spice and slightly cheesy and sweet flavors.
In total, what I had came out to around 15 bucks, which is fine because you do end up with a lot - although no great deals are found here either.
Overall, there's some pretty good baked goods, but nothing to write home about. 7.25/10“

“What a jewel of a place. Angel’s desserts are delicious creations worthy of the best French pastry shops, prepared with an enthusiasm for the work that I have rarely seen anywhere. Latte was excellent, almond croissant was the best in town so far. If you care about great (not just good) pastries, a real sense of place, and want to support a local business, this is the one. Can’t wait to take delivery of our bûche de Noël.“

“A must try when in Seattle! Incredible vegan savory and sweet options - we are obsessed with the vegan beef and cheese piroshki, and potato rosemary, but there are so many! They have the best sticky bun ever too. Our son loved the non vegan ones too! One of the best places in Seattle!“

“This cafe has unique seasonal flavors of your classic coffee drinks and bakery pastries. There’s ample space in the air conditioned upstairs or in open air seating outside. I enjoyed a Cardamom Rose Iced Late and chocolate croissant. The single all gender restroom was clean, well stocked, accessible, and had a changing table.“

“I got to Anchorhead quite often since it is one of the only cafes around that opens at 7am. The coffee tastes good and they have some decent pastries. The downstairs area is large with a couch and several table - it’s a good place to study/work/hang out.
There are a few issues worth noting:
- the music especially downstairs is loud for a cafe so bring headphones
- the “medium” sized coffee is 10oz not 12oz and ordering an 8oz or a 10oz seems no different since they seem to come in the same mug. They should make their medium a 12oz
- the chairs downstairs could use some maintenance
Overall though still 5 stars, especially given their 7am opening.“

“I love this place! I read about them in a magazine and finally found the time to get over there. The pan dulce is the BEST! We sat and had our pastries with coffee in a brightly decorated, cafe with pictures of Latino greats! It had a cozy sofa and chairs and plenty of tables.
Personally, we need to have one of her cafes in South Seattle. Othello Station, please!“

“I had a great experience at Pasteleria Y Panaderia La Ideal. The bakery offers an impressive selection of fresh breads, pastries, and sweet treats, all made with excellent quality. Everything I tried was delicious, and it was hard to choose from so many tempting options. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the prices were very reasonable. I’ll definitely be coming back and would happily recommend this bakery to anyone.“

“This place is easily one of our favorite Vietnamese bakeries in Seattle. The bánh mì bread here is the best we’ve had in the city—light and airy on the inside, slightly chewy, and perfectly crispy on the outside, just like what you’d find in Vietnam. The fillings are solid and well-balanced, letting the bread really shine.
We also tried the pâté choux, a classic Vietnamese pastry, and honestly… it tasted even better than what we’ve had back in Vietnam. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully made. Overall, this is a great spot, and we’ll definitely be coming back for more.“

“I had a sausage mushroom pithivier followed by a chocolate orange pull-a-part. The pull apart had a slight crackle of orange sugar before you sunk into the softest most delicious pastry ice eaten in a long time. The pithivier was buttery, flaky, with an ever so lightly salted crust and sausage mushroom ummami. All of that and a fantastic coffee latte. I'm going to have the best day.“
