The hot chai is amazing and follows the theme of perfect sweetness and spice, and the iced mocha is perfectly (slightly) bitter and creamy. The service was also polite and fast! “Delicious as always! We have baked the frozen empanadas at home and always been pleased. This was my first time getting them hot and ready to eat. Ready to pick up at the estimated time, everything in order was correct, and they were as delicious as they were when we first had them several years ago. Will happily go back again and restock our freezer when I make a bit of room.“

It's a challenge for a WA State Hall of Fame Chef to find a place with food worth bragging about, and this is one, as the food seemed to ferry him cross the mersey. The service was attentive, and the tea was bottomless. In spite of being located in downtown Redmond, the parking was easy. After eating, of course it comes the shopping at the Pantry for baked and boxed goods of all sorts. You will enjoy this stop for sure!“

“We chose Mike’s Amazing Cakes for three reasons: the cakes are beautiful, the cost is reasonable, and the cake actually tastes good! We tried a few other places where the cakes just tasted sugary or they were going to cost $15/serving. We asked Mike for a custom flavor (dark chocolate) and it was exactly what I was looking for. All four flavors were delicious, we ordered extra cake and we didn’t have a single piece left over! Multiple people ate two slices, and we got a ton of compliments on the design and the flavors. “This bakery is exceptional. I only found out about it because I tried their macaroons at a cafe down south in Kent. I was in the area and decided to drop by and get myself a box of macaroons. I ended up buying a piece of cake as well. When walking in, you can tell it's not a sit down place to order and enjoy. The ladies in the back are hard at work and making a ton of desserts. I got 2 of each flavor they had from the macaroons. I've been to Paris and I didn't even like macaroons as much as I did these. That's how good they are. The inside is clean, well maintained and I loved the woman who served me. She made sure I was taken care of and helped me carry things to the car. Can't wait to be back. This is my favorite macaroon spot!“
