The British Pantry Reviews
Great service, authentic, and cozy atmosphere!

The British Pantry is a charming, family-run restaurant and store that offers a taste of Britain in the Seattle area. The restaurant features traditional, old-school dishes such as sausage rolls, steak and mushroom pie, haddock & chips, and afternoon tea with authentic scones and clotted cream. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, making it a welcoming spot for a casual meal or a relaxing afternoon tea experience. The food is consistently good, with perfectly cooked haddock & chips and delicious homemade pastries including pasties, tartlets, and sausage rolls. Customers appreciate the reasonable prices, especially for the afternoon tea, which provides good value with simple yet tasty items served in a casual setting. The attached shop complements the restaurant by offering a wide range of British products, from teacups to Flake Bars, as well as kitchenware, tea, and other cooking supplies. Many visitors enjoy shopping here and taking home pastries, pies, and other treats. Overall, The British Pantry is a beloved spot that provides authentic British food, warm service, and a variety of British goods, making it a rare and welcome find outside of traditional pubs.
