“Absolutely love this place. Family owned, Banh Mi’s are great. Growing up in a Vietnamese household, we’d come up to Seattle from Olympia to get banh mi’s. Rise and shine is one of the restaurants that replicates that same taste I remember. Highly recommend.“
“The baristas were very friendly! I got a lavender latte and a sour cream coffee cake. Both tasted great! The coffee cake was pretty big. My partner got a decaf mocha, which he liked a lot. It’s a really cute coffee shop and I loved that they have pictures of different dogs on the wall and offer dog treats too.“
“I've only been here once and purchased 2 items. A cinnamon & sugar donut and a pastry. They had a decent selection and a bunch of cookies. Quality of the food was good for the ones I purchased. Tasted very fresh. Pricing was fair compared to other bakers close by. Staff was very nice. Will try again.“

I went here to pick up a birthday cake without pre-ordering and was so happy to see that they still had Mango Crème brûlée cake.I tried it for the first time and they did not disappoint ☺️The Mango chunks on the top weren’t sweet but I wouldn’t complain because of how good the cake was.“
“Large, heavy, dense donuts that really hit the spot. I'll admit their prices scared me away for years but you're getting great value if you wanna fill up your tummy and treat yourself for breakfast or dessert. The drive thru is so convenient and takes the experience to a whole new level.“
“This place far exceeded my expectations. I met my boss here in hopes to grab a quick bite between ferries (we had an hour). I ordered a simple "eggs and toast"and a White chocolate mocha. The potatoes were hands down the best breakfast potatoes I have ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on inside. Everything was perfectly seasoned. My boss had the avocado toast with fruit which looked absolutely amazing. I was amazed at the quality for the price. I am extremely picky with my coffee and this was spot on. Even though the place was busy with a line, the coffee was out in less than 5 minutes and food in about 10. My only complaint is I wish i lived closer so i could become a regular!“
“I'm on day 3, after purchasing a loaf of the Herbed Olive Sourdough, and it's held up remarkably well! Still a great crunchy crust and flavorfully chewy interior and really wonderful when toasted.Also got to try the new Double-Chocolate Sourdough muffins and loved these as well. I'd been craving choc muffins for about a week so was stoked to see these added and they didn't disappoint. Def a beautiful complexity to the flavor profile but not overwhelming at all. Hopefully, a new classic. ❤“
