“I've never loved a quiche other than their Ham & Gruyere Quiche. It's to die for ... It's very soft almost like a custard texture and they heat it up for you. Not a coffee person but I surprisingly liked it. 😁“

I panicked and called them to see if there was anything they could do to help me… they completely saved the day, fixed the frosting, and it looked perfect for the party!!! Best. Bakery. Ever.“

“Solid doughnut shop with a huge variety of classic and unique flavors, all clearly made with high-quality ingredients. My favorite, by far, is the old-fashioned doughnut, which is somehow more rich, moist, and buttery than your average, while still maintaining a nice crispy exterior. Aside from that, I really love all the different icings, which actually taste like their flavors rather than just being different colors. The filled doughnuts are also awesome, again with very bold flavors! They also serve kolaches, which are basically hot dogs baked into a brioche-style bun. They're a Texas thing so you don't find them around here very often.

That said, I wasn't a huge fan of the bear claw or the cinnamon roll, which seemed to be filled with just plain cinnamon, not mixed with butter or sugar or anything else you'd expect. It led to a somewhat bitter and bland filling.

Also note that they don't offer any drinks at this location (aside from a handful of cans and bottles from the fridge).“

“We ordered a vegan raspberry vanilla 6-inch cake for my fiancé’s birthday, and it was a total hit. Vegan cakes can be hit or miss, but this one was both delicious and beautifully made.

The owner was very responsive, and arranging everything was easy from start to finish, starting with instructions on the website. There was no issue at all with a Friday morning pickup for a Monday order (which I thought might be too quick a pickup turnaround, but she said anything over 48 hours notice works), and pickup itself was smooth and simple. Would absolutely order again.“

“We ordered 3 pies for Thanksgiving. Chocolate Haupia, Custard and Pumpkin Macnut crunch. Great communication, quick responses. They were even able to accommodate an earlier pick up time for us. We will be ordering pies from you for Thanksgiving from now on as long as you have it as an option. All pies are so ono! Our favorite is definitely the chocolate haupia pie. Mahalo nui loa!! “La Copa has the best coffee in the area. Their staff understands the science and art of pulling espresso shots and their machine is calibrated properly so your drink is well made. They have a nice variety of food options made on premises and everything is delicious. Our favorites are the breakfast burritos (huge and yummy), the coffee cakes (flavors rotate), GF banana bread w/ chips, the danishes, the marzuka bars, the cookies, and the turkey pesto panini. The owners and staff are hard-working and kind. They care about their locals and the newbies. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You deserve it!“

“For the past 3 years, Uptown Expresso on the 4th Ave has been our everyday coffee corner to kickstart our day and also helped us stay awake during the grey months of Seattle. The friendly and cool baristas out there became neighbors. Their blend of Fonte coffee roast and kind of brewing for my Americano has set a particular standard in my taste buds. Except Umbria coffee, no other coffee brands/retail coffee chains probably comes as quite a match to that kind of dark, Rich and smooth roast. It’s unique. If you are a everyday Americano person, I highly recommend Uptown Expresso!! ❤️“
