My Ballard friend and I were gushing about our love of bread when she mentioned Tall Grass Bakery. I slept on her recommendation for a few months and finally went today. Do not be like me. Do not wait to go here. We arrived a little after 9 to see a few people in front of us. We got inside and there's barely room for two people to stand and see what's available. We are so lucky to have this bakery in our neighborhood! Go for the Baguette, brioche buns, pretzels, Sourdough Rye Pecan, Scones, and so much more. It's the real deal when it comes to a local bakery. Yum!

Looking for morning coffee and saw this basket that has great ratings on Yelp. The ginger coconut scone I got was really great. I love the texture of the coconut and candied ginger. Loved it. We also got the salted pretzel. Enjoyed that this bakery offered unique choices not found at other bakeries. Wish they had coffee, but maybe in the near future.
