“I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE!! Highly recommend, even if it's a walk off the main Winslow strip. These guys have the cleanest pho broth in town, dangerously addictive beef dumplings, and incredible BBQ pork Banh Mi. Their house-made chili oil is wicked good, as well as their milk tea options. They also have great vegetarian delights for you as well! They're incredibly friendly and hospitable, with very quick service. If you're looking to get some premium quality Vietnamese food, this is the spot! If you're taking a tour of BI, I highly recommend going here! Big up Green Pot Deli!”

“Cute spot with well awarded wines. I'm from Oregon and was on Bainbridge with friends who took me. I enjoyed the stories and bought 2 bottles! They have an abundance of reds but I loved the Grenache and Mouvedre.”

“OMG. It's Amazing!! We went to the Witch's Haunted High Tea Service and it was EXTRAORDINARY! Do not miss this. We do afternoon tea service all over. I have a three sisters and it's our fun thing to find unique and eclectic places to have a proper tea service. The food was incredible and the tea was spot on. One side note i would change is the only way to make reservations is you have to call but they squeezed us in.”

“The pizza is great and I really like the cider they have on tap despite few draft options otherwise. We live nearby and our daughter likes the little arcade they have upstairs. Unfortunately, if you come in after 4pm without a group, it feels unwelcome to stay at the restaurant. The slices are taken off the wheel and for some weird reason there's no special combo for a slice and draft. The staff just sells whole pizzas and a lot of the floor games go unused because of the strange change of atmosphere in the evening. The staff themselves are also hit and miss. Some being friendly and others giving every nonverbal they want you to wrap up and leave.
Edit: bumping to 4. Food's great and think we got unlucky, because the owner was right about every staff member except that one guy.”

“The very best live music venue on Bainbridge Island! Excellent, award winning wines!”
“We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and highly recommend it to others, especially families with young children! The food was outstanding—my shrimp scampi was absolutely delicious, and I couldn't get enough of it. The shrimp was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. We also shared a Caesar salad, which was equally delightful with an amazing dressing. The drinks were spot-on, and the kids really enjoyed the server, who was exceptionally kind and friendly with them.”

“I've never loved a quiche other than their Ham & Gruyere Quiche. It's to die for ... It's very soft almost like a custard texture and they heat it up for you. We had to order 2 more slices after trying one out 🤤. I'd definitely recommend trying it, and you'll see why 😁. Also their Chili-fermented coffee is uniquely good. Not a coffee person but I surprisingly liked it. 😁”
“Decent small wine tasting room. $20-$25 for choose-your-own vs reserve flights. Staff was friendly and not over-bearing or pressuring to purchase bottles. The Mourvedre wines both red and white were interesting and tasty to try”

“Amazing bakery, exactly what you are looking for in a small beach town shop. The baked goods are unbelievable, very high quality. The coffee is cheap and hot. Nestled in beside the historic Lynwood theatre and the treehouse cafe (another outstanding stop), the vibes are off the charts. Novice visitors go to Winslow, but the wise traveler goes to Pleasant Beach.”

“Delicious. One of my absolute favorites. Wonderful Vietnamese food with an elegant and creative touch. Can be a bit loud inside, but the covered patio is heated. We are blessed on Bainbridge with some of the Seattle areas finest restaurants, and this place is one of the first we share with friends.”

“The ceviche was excellently done with fresh ingredients and crispy plantain chips. The crab enchilada was like slipping into a warm bath and I've never had rice and beans seasoned so well! The skirt steak tacos were tender and scrumptious but my hat was off to the house made habanero salsa. I had to add an 8 ounce jar to my order so i could have some later. I never knew that coconut flakes in flan could be so delicious! Thank you for the wonderful evening, Miguel. And thank you for making me feel so welcomed by introducing me to your entire staff. My wife and i will be returning shortly.”

“So happy to finally have the best coffee shop on the island open again!
My favorite food here has always been the pesto goat cheese breakfast sandwich and it still lives up to the hype! But ALL of the food options are quite literally to die for.
Storyville has the best ambience and coffee on Bainbridge HANDS DOWN so I’m excited to be spending time here again.”

“We stumbled across this spot while on the waterfront trail and couldn't be happier that we stopped in. What started as a quick pause turned into an unforgettable lunch!
The views of the water are absolutely stunning, but the food and service truly steal the show. The Thai food was spectacular... fresh (not greasy), flavorful, and served in incredibly generous portions. (Pro tip: definitely check out their lunch deal, it’s an amazing value!)
On top of that, the staff was exceptionally warm, attentive, and welcoming. Wonderful food, unbeatable scenery, and stellar hospitality”

“Sawadty is very near my home, 3 minutes away. There are at least two other Thai restaurants on the Island, and they are each good in their own way. But Sawadty does delicious take-out, since the pandemic, and my favorite is their Rama Tao Hoo - just tofu, spinach and peanut sauce. But the sauce is the best I have ever had, and the service is excellent as long as you're clear on when the food will be ready.”

“We love our local market! Town & Country has grown and updated their interior beautifully! We love it. If I have ever had a question or an issue with a product I have spoken with the appropriate department person and have always had a speedy and positive response. Many changes to products have happened over the last year, with occasional hiccups as new things are tried. But, we have found that ultimately it has all been for the better. The store may be sleeker, but the heart is still there in spades. I am amazed how they came through for us during COVID and still are! Kudos, Bainbridge Island T&C!”

“I've waited a long time for a close by Chinese takeout style place, and I was very happy to see Pau's open. The crab rangoons are delicious, and the General Tso chicken was perfect. My friend loved the shrimp fried rice and the wonton soup. Definitely looking forward to trying more of their menu! ( I do wish there was a larger bubble tea selection, especially as I prefer popping boba or jelly to the usual tapioca, but that's not a serious failing lol)”

“Crust is perfect, light sourdough. Margherita topping left something to be desired, it used regular mozzarella instead of fresh, so even hot out the oven the cheese was hardening and came off in a clump. An authentic Margherita uses fresh mozzarella which would form an almost sauce like texture, so that would be my rec to the shop. I'd go back, but for a different topping.”

“This post is from Pacific Northwest Foodies. Doc’s Marina Grill ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been on the quest for a great Crab Louie salad for a few years. Sadly, this classic crab salad is hard to find even in states like Washington. I suspect it has to do with most people not wanting to pay a lot of money for a salad, but if you’ve ever had a great one, you know this one is worth it. After doing a lot of research, I made a point to try the one at Doc’s Marina Grill on Bainbridge Island, Washington. There’s also a location in Port Townsend, Washington. For starters, I ordered a cup of Doc’s House Made Clam Chowder ($8) - famous because it’s “oh-so-good!” It needed a sprinkle of salt, but it was very good. For my entrée, I ordered Doc’s Dungeness Crab Louie ($38) - mixed greens topped with tender crab, seasonal vegetables, heirloom tomatoes and Doc’s house-made Louie dressing. I was impressed! I would rate Doc’s Crab Louie a 4/5. It was beautifully presented, had a generous portion of crab, and the house made Louie dressing was excellent! I would give this salad a perfect rating if they removed the red onion, and added a few black olives and asparagus spears. Even so, I was very happy with my salad and would rank it among one the best Crab Louie’s I’ve ever had. It is certainly the best I’ve had in Washington state. In addition to serving great food, I really enjoyed the ambience of Doc’s, and the service was excellent! I look forward to visiting again and try and some new menu items. *The upstairs level and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. * There is an opening above the urinal that is a giant periscope. It provides a panoramic view of Eagle Harbor. It was designed by Lee Scott, a Carnegie Mellon graduate student. If you don’t use a urinal, but are interested in seeing the periscope, staff will clear the room so you can check it out too. I didn’t know about this until after my visit. Next time, I will be sure to check it out. 😊 Highly Recommended!!!”

“A must-visit historic coffee landmark! Located right off the waterfront on Parfitt Way SW, Pegasus Coffee House serves up fantastic, small-batch, island-roasted coffee. The building itself is beautiful, complete with a cozy fireplace inside. The employees were friendly and nice. My absolute favorite feature is their postcard station—they provide free postcards that you can fill out, and they will stamp and mail them anywhere in the world for you! It is the perfect, relaxing resting point while spending the afternoon there. Located in Bainbridge Island, Washington.”

“This place will have a line out the door on a Tuesday because it is delicious, nostalgic, and worth the wait. Perfectly poached eggs, flavorful hashbrowns in large quantities, fresh vegetables, and excellent baked goods (especially the biscuits). Please do not show up hangry to our little island gem and complain when you can see the hardworking chefs going non-stop in full public view behind the counter. Locals have to wait too and we do so gladly.”

“A wonderful experience starting with our server Thomas. His attentiveness to our needs and others was unbelievable. He helped an elderly couple who asked them how to reheat ther leftovers in the best way possible. His explanation was above and beyond what is normal. The bartender, Will, worked together with Thomas to pair a wonderful smoked soju with our baked butter moji desert. It was wonderful!!!. Later the owner, Jason came out to talk to us and gave us the Hawaiian Aloha feel. It was like being there in Hawaii. Truly unexpected and appreciated. An experience that rivaled our time in New York, NY.”
