“Incredible tasting sandwiches! Highly recommend the spiced chicken and the beef! My son said the beef with Thai basil was the best sandwich he’s ever had and he’s 6! They were all delicious. A great addition to the expanding food scene on the island. Don’t forget the scrumptious salted choc cookies!”
“Seabird had incredible food and cocktails. It as so fun to take my Pescatarian sister to a restaurant where she could eat everything on the menu! The menu changes with the seasons, but favorites included the 50 carrot mezcal cocktail, a flight of oysters, the ceviche, and rockfish. I was impressed with the balance of flavors in the drinks and dishes. Also noteworthy was the play with texture in the meals. Our bill included two cocktails, two mocktails, three oysters, a salad, ceviche, two fish entrees, an espresso, and a dessert. I was floored that the bill came to just $100/person for two people before tip. What excellent pricing for such a wonderful fine dining experience. Highly recommended! Will go again!”
“I had the best time here as I always do. So fun to learn about all the amazing flavors and the process on how they make the ciders. Such interesting people and conversations to be had.”
“Excellent food, never disappoints! Cant go wrong with the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Also love the Bollywood music videos playing on the tv, never a dull moment!Vegetarian options: Can get anything with no meat!Dietary restrictions: So many optionsParking: Lots of free parkingKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly”
“If you're visiting Bainbridge Island and are a fan of Vietnamese food, I would recommend a stop here. (If you're on foot, just push yourself to venture a teeny, tiny bit past the main downtown area.) We had the shrimp spring rolls, grilled beef banh mi, special pho and strawberry banana smoothie. At the end of the meal, my kids asked what was in the "magical" smoothie and the food. (Basically, they are endorsing everything we had.)”
“My daughter and I came after seeing a play in Seattle. She picked the restaurant and the food plus service was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant”
“We really liked eating at this place as the food was delicious. Really good authentic Italian food made from scratch. The place itself is in sort of a shopping center, and it has a main entry area that sort of like a store. There’s also an outdoor area that’s shaded pretty nicely. Lots of artificial plants although some are natural living plants, but it looks good. The store has all kinds of cool little items for sale from authentic foods and ingredients to drinks and more. The customer service was OK. They were nice, but not as friendly or accommodating as we hoped. The food on the other hand hits the spot. We really enjoyed the meals with a glass of wine. I recommend this place to others who are looking for great Italian food.”
“4.5 stars - overall reasonably priced with great food and atmosphere.Recommend:Softshell crabs - did a great job on keeping the crispness without infusing too much oilRib stew - tender and flavory. Used sweet potato instead of common potatoes. If the rice is less sticky, they’d be perfect together.-0.5 for the fried shrimp noodle — shrimps are fresh and chewy (in a good way) but I couldn’t taste the sea with that much seasoning. I understand the bak choy is a good balance for salty noodles and shrimps, but they don’t quite go together.”
“Best spot for wine, the owner is extremely nice. First time in WA where the person who grew the grapes, made the wine, poured the wine, explained and broke down the wine. This really helped me understand tasting it, as he was very honest, as I'm usually very picky. I love sweet wines, from when my husband was stationed near Temecula. His wines were the first ones I truly appreciated on a deeper level. In Cali you want a dark red sweet wine, here you want something crisp, refreshing like the breeze. The taste of his wine literally grounds you to Earth, and the elements around you, captivating and capturing it all in a bottle. This is very hard to do, to embed a flavor into someone's memory. Every other winery around has the excuse of it not being hot enough for sweet wine, causing an awful bitter wine. His is the only wine I've found in WA and OR, that has grabbed the natural tannins from its surroundings, and truly embraced them in a hug of flavors. Without using his surroundings as an excuse, he's fully mastered his environment, on the contrary to other wineries, who will literally apologize that it's not grown in California, and that's why it's "not as good". I believe any wine can be good, as long as it compliments its surroundings.”
“A Bainbridge Island staple, no matter how much the new landlord of the mall hates that fact and wishes they were a cocktail bar instead! Great food, service, and atmosphere, and a classic spot for a quick bite after school or during your lunch break downtown.”
“Emmy's is a delightful vegan stop. Their "meats" use seitan products and there are plenty of fresh veggies. The people are the best and you will always be welcomed with a smile. Emmy's is my daughter's favorite restaurant on the island!”
“Super awesome experience! Delicious wine and company. Wonderful to meet Sarah and Ingrid, who were not only super knowledgeable about the wines and cheese offerings but also provided some fun shop recommendations. ? Mahalo, Fletcher Bay Winery fam!”
“This is by far the best winery on Bainbridge Island and anywhere close. We love the wine, atmosphere, and especially the people. Alana, Armathia, and Forrest are some of the friendliest, funniest, and most welcoming people you'd be lucky enough to meet at a tasting room. We also just learned that the founder Matt is considered the Mouvedre King of Washington! They make amazing wines and are so welcoming!”
“The best Mexican dinner in the area! Such a great spot with amazing service and fabulous food and cocktails. You can see and taste the amount of care that goes into each dish. Four of us ate there and all four loved it. Cocktails were fabulous too!”
“A hidden gem right off the Bainbridge Island ferry with no wrong choices. Want a cheaper drink or some food? Take advantage of happy hour! My only gripe is that it feels a little pricey, but it feels worthwhile!”
