We loved this place! The ambience was perfect for what we were looking for. Quiet, lovely, relaxing. The service was top notch and the food was amazing! We eat a lot of Thai food in the Portland, OR, area, and I can't imagine Thai food being any better than at Sawan Thai on Bainbridge Island.
This Thai place is one of the best I've had in years. From the Papaya Salad to the noodle and rice dishes to the curry (we got Massaman), everything was incredible and the service was extraordinary! Our family will be back very soon, and often!!

I ordered the salmon panang and my spouse ordered the chicken Yakisoba kee mao with noodles. Salmon was perfect and delicious. Spouse enjoyed the chicken. They serve wines from eleven winery and we tried a bottle of the Ratio Blanco. It complemented the medium spice of our Thai dishes. This time of year the island is less busy.
