“4 stars good5 stars service4 stars atmosphereI visited earlier this year in March because my coworker raved about the food. I found the food to be good, but not anything to go crazy about. That said, the portion was huge and the takeout box was definitely at capacity. I’m taking away a point for atmosphere because they weren’t open for dine in…not sure about now. I live in Seattle and would come back if I was in the area though it doesn’t warrant it’s own trip back.Parking: Big open lot shared with gas station. I doubt you’ll have issues!“

“I ordered the salmon panang and my spouse ordered the chicken Yakisoba kee mao with noodles. Salmon was perfect and delicious. Spouse enjoyed the chicken. They serve wines from eleven winery and we tried a bottle of the Ratio Blanco. It complemented the medium spice of our Thai dishes. This time of year the island is less busy. While we liked not waiting for a table, I can tell the locals are out enjoying the sunshine when they could enjoy some amazing Thai food. We will definitely come back.“

“3/31/24: After reading about the soft opening of the second location of Khao Soi, I made a beeline to Bay Street in Port Orchard to enjoy a delectable lunch. I had been sad at losing Bay Street Bistro but sad turned into glad as I dived into Massuman Curry with an iced Thai coffee. Kudos again to the owners for providing an excellent meal in a lovely relaxed setting. I was dining solo, and was perfectly comfortable reading my travel book. The soft music enhanced the warm atmosphere and the beautiful decor provided plenty of eye candy. My only regret was not ordering my curry with more stars (I’m always conservative starting out with 2). I could have easily done 4. The iced coffee could have used a tad more coconut milk for my taste, but it was delicious nonetheless. My new favorite restaurant and quite the gem!“

“What an absolute gem of a restaurant! My dining and takeout experiences at Pink Bee was nothing short of exceptional. It's evident that each recipe is steeped in tradition, passed down through generations, and prepared with a generous sprinkle of love. The menu offers a delightful array of options, from classic staples to lesser-known treasures, ensuring there's something to tantalize every palate. Whether you're a fan of fiery curries, fragrant stir-fries, or indulgent noodle dishes, you're sure to find a new favorite here. And don't even get me started on the appetizers – each bite is a burst of flavor that leaves you craving more.Beyond the exquisite food, what truly sets Pink Bee apart is the genuine hospitality of the staff. “Every dish I’ve had here stands out compared to pretty much every other Thai restaurant. Which is not easy to do in this area. However it does come with a slight price increase that I feel is often worth it, often not always. The inside is on the small side but the layout provides a nice separation that makes you feel like you’re in a larger space. The decor is nice and clean. The materials are fairly high quality. This spot has decent natural lighting, but this does make it feel a bit odd because the day I can was dull and it reflected inside. Meh, I could see my food just fine, just wish they had more lights.Their service is also just ok. Nothing special and far from bad. They are nice. I was able to get seated right away during happy hour. I’ve been here before and also passed by many times and this place has never been packed. Not sure why when they have these amazing dishes. Maybe the price for the area makes this more of a luxury despite being better priced than many of the nicer restaurants in the area.I can say their food taste absolutely delicious. Every meal I’ve had was better than anywhere else in the area. They also offer many dishes I just don’t find anywhere around here. On my last visit I tried the jackfruit salad and 2 different crab based dishes. The jackfruit salad was over powered by the fish sauce flavor and I couldn’t eat more than 2. Needs more salad or maybe something else to help cut or spread the saltiness. My Kanom Jean Numya Pu had amazing flavor and texture, but was for sure not worth the high price I paid. Everything about it was underwhelming but the flavor. I’m glad I experienced it, but wish I had ordered something different. The curry softshell crab was spot on. No complaints with this dish. The proportions made sense and there was actually enough crab to satisfy. Every other dish I’ve had at this location was a similar experience to how I felt about the crab curry. Unique, tasty, decent portion, prices appropriate.I highly recommend planning a simple date night here or even just getting a solo plate. You for sure can find cheaper or more expensive, but eating here almost corrects the judgement bar of what middle quality Thai food is. No this isn’t the most fancy Thai restaurant and no it’s not a hole in the wall. To be honest I’d rather come here than several of the fanciest Thai restaurants I’ve been to. Can’t wait to come back.Vegetarian options: I wouldn’t say they spell it out so much, but they have many dishes that come without meat.“

“I’ve been coming here for the past 5 years and I’ve gotta say I’ve never had any issues at all. Calling in for takeout takes roughly a minute to finish ordering and I normally only wait 15 minutes at the absolute most. Despite other reviewers, when I dine in the same server who’s been there since I’ve been going is always professional and welcoming and has never shown any attitude towards me or my friends/family. I always go here to get my monthly pho fix and it’s always the same. That’s something a lot of places never do. Consistency is what I like about restaurants. Never worse. Never better but I’ve tried the popular spots in places like Seattle and Renton but they just don’t do it like this place, so I’m going to assume this is the best I can get. This might sound like someone who works there is typing this and I know I can’t prove it’s a real person but I guarantee I’m not some paid actor. This place gets a bad rap but I’ve never had any issues. Maybe that’s because I’m not some self-entitled brat. Ordering food isn’t hard. You should know you what foods you can and can’t eat before you even consider going into an unfamiliar restaurant. Google is free. Do your research before you judge something. 10/10 please don’t leave I don’t like Pho Golden haha.“

“I've been coming here for about five years now, I generally only order the drunken noodle and sometimes the beef salad, both of which have always been amazing but on one night when they were slammed and it wasn't. I came by a few days later when I was in the area, was thinking that maybe they'd make me another dish but instead they remade the whole order, spring rolls and all, like $60 in food and were insistent on doing it.The only thing I can't stress enough is that they need to keep up their food portion size. Read your reviews, guys...seems like you may be driving away customers.Otherwise, I really like this restaurant and the people who own it...very pleasant, sweet even, fall all over themselves to make sure you're satisfied.Parking: Not sure why we need to expand on parking here, but yeah its a single lane of parking and others' experience may differ but I've never had an issue with finding a space.
