“Sawadty is very near my home, 3 minutes away. There are at least two other Thai restaurants on the Island, and they are each good in their own way. But Sawadty does delicious take-out, since the pandemic, and my favorite is their Rama Tao Hoo - just tofu, spinach and peanut sauce. But the sauce is the best I have ever had, and the service is excellent as long as you're clear on when the food will be ready.“

“We stumbled across this spot while on the waterfront trail and couldn't be happier that we stopped in. What started as a quick pause turned into an unforgettable lunch!

The views of the water are absolutely stunning, but the food and service truly steal the show. The Thai food was spectacular... fresh (not greasy), flavorful, and served in incredibly generous portions. (Pro tip: definitely check out their lunch deal, it’s an amazing value!)

“In Seattle, the best teriyaki place in the city is usually the one closest to your house. Nikko Teriyaki is no exception. In my 12 years living in West Seattle, this place has never disappointed. Good portions. Tastes great. Fast service. No suprises.

Tip: Ask for a (free) extra salad dressing. One is not enough for the generous amount of salad you get.“

“I’ve lived on Alki since 1989. I’ve seen many restaurants come and go from this location. Lotus on the Beach is the best of them all. The ability to pick from a variety of Vietnamese and Thai dishes is its strength. The owner and staff welcome any and all critiques of the food and service.“

“The restaurant is clean, nicely lit, the staff is amazing. The man who took our order was funny and charismatic. My son ordered the pepper steak, and it was great. I had egg drop soup, I have never had it so thick, I really liked it that way I will definitely be back.“

“My first time in and really didn’t have many expectations but was blown away by the friendly staff. Ordered papaya salad w/ tofu. Tofu came fried to perfection in my book. Requested some fish sauce, the server asked if I would prefer fish dressing, big smile on my face :). Ordered a (banh-mi) sandwich w/ tofu, tofu was a little soft for my liking but had great flavor and a overly fair amount of ingredients, two thumbs up 👍. I received a side of fish dressing I used some chilly paste in it, the other server asked if I would like to have the chilly oil… ohh man was I happy with that suggestion!! Loved it!! “It was my first time trying korean cuisine and i was not disappointed. As a vegetarian most korean restaurant menus have a heavy meat focus but i was surprised by this one, it had a lot of options. I tried the mushroom and onion bibimbap in a hot pot. The sauce was great, it came with shredded carrots and other veggies, rice and a fried egg on top. I especially loved their salad platter which they provided on the side with the sesame flavored brocolli and cabbage. Would definitely return from seattle to eat this. Staff was kind and helpful.“

“I have gone twice now and will go again with friends. Each time my waiters, AJ and Minh were outstanding. The food is delicious and the atmosphere peaceful. I have posted a picture of their large Pho. The second time I ordered a small and still had to ask for a take home box. My friend had the house noodles and they were very good also.“

“I’ve been to Happy Teriyaki & Sushi in Bremerton many times, and the food has consistently been amazing. I’ve tried quite a few different things on the menu, and honestly, almost everything I’ve ordered has been really good. The portions are good, the food is flavorful, and it’s definitely a place I keep coming back to.

The majority of my experiences with the staff have also been great. Everyone is usually friendly, helpful, and provides really good customer service.

My only criticism is that there is one cashier I’ve encountered several times who has consistently come across as very short and rude. I haven’t seen her during my more recent visits, but unfortunately, whenever she was working, it noticeably affected the experience. I normally wouldn’t mention a single interaction, but since it happened multiple times, I think it’s fair to include.

Outside of that, I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. The food is excellent, the rest of the staff has always treated me well, and I’ll absolutely continue coming back.“

“I was staying at the hotel next to hwy. 16 and was thinking of going into the downtown area of Port Orchard but I got turned around. I spotted the Fred Meyer and decided to pull in and check for a restaurant. Saw Kim’s and went in. I took an order of Chicken Chow Mein back to the hotel. Best Chow Mein I’ve ever had! One order was enough for two, or for leftovers. So Savory.“

“Literally hidden behind some shrub trees by planet fitness. I’ve had them twice now and thus far has not disappointed. Fairly priced for the amount of food that’s given to you. Going to give service a 4 since I’ve only gone for takeout and never sat down inside. Overall a very polite experience and pretty solid food.“
