“This small restaurant is a great Asian fusion spot in Edmonds. I’ve been here 3x now and have been pleasantly surprised by their dishes and cocktails. The place has a great selection of Asian inspired foods along with a list of specials served weekly (or monthly?). I highly recommend booking a reservation a few days in advance as they’re always full both weekdays and weekends. I’ve managed to snag a spot at their bar without a reservation the last 2x I’ve gone during dinner hour. The soup dumplings, Brussels sprouts, yakisoba add katsu chicken, and homemade mac salad are some of favorites. I’ve also tried their beef rice bowl and tacos (on the speciality menu) which have been tasty as well. I haven’t made it to happy hour yet, but it’s on the list! Give this place a try next time you’re craving Asian food.Vegetarian options: Whole part of the menu is dedicated to vegetarian diet“
“This place is always a staple when we are craving pre-made hotpot. I always go back and forth between getting the beef pot, lamb pot and spicy Taiwanese pot. All three are delicious and come out so fast! We also get the cumin lamb appetizer which is a great starter and addition to our hotpot meals. Their drinks are equally delicious, the honey green tea is my favorite in particular. The jasmine green tea flavor with the slight sweetness from the honey makes this drink so addictingly refreshing. Service is always fast and the staff is very accommodating to our needs, love coming to this Edmonds BP location!“
“I’ve eaten here multiple times, and every time I am more impressed. The staff is attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. The self service beer is fun. But the food is what keeps me coming back. My only complaint is that the food is actually so good that I find myself over eating to the point my eyes are bulging out of my head, and then I still order dessert. If you haven’t eaten here yet, do yourself a favor and try it out!“
“There’s a reason this place is 4.5+ stars plus right now — good sized portion, food made fresh to order and friendly service! Nice mom and pop shop — chicken teriyaki was nicely grilled thigh meat with just the right amount of sauce (not too much)! Chicken Katsu was made fresh. The inside is also super super cleanConvenient location — just west off the 179 exit on I5“
“This is our go to for teriyaki, only done takeout cuz it’s a easy dinner/lunch on a work day. Best bang for your buck with decent quality food. For $16 you get teriyaki/katsu with salad, 4 pieces of California roll and side of tempura plus miso soup! When pho prices are $12~18 nowadays, this place is GREAT value. The people who works there are always nice and work quickly.“
“High quality and tasty rolls! Had the Salmon Lemon, Shrip tempura, Spider rolls. Fresh ingredients and excellent portions. Also tried the spicy ramen which was delicious and very well presented in the bowl. Kids had the Katsu Don and gobbled it up. Servers were attentive and overall inviting. Will come again!“
“I've been in Seattle only 4 weeks but I've ate out of this place about 15 times so far nicest teriyaki chicken I've got ever and I travel the world for a living I've been around the world twice and spoke to everyone once this is by far my favorite spot for teriyaki“
“Hangry Panda is a dream come true! I have celiac disease, so it’s not very easy for me to find places where I can eat safely and know I won’t be gluten poisoned. I have 100% trust in Hangry Panda when it comes to preparing delicious GF food! Everything on the menu is good, their GF fried chicken is like a balm to my soul after years of sad GF fried chicken, their Spicy Fried Chicken sandwich is probably my favorite thing on their menu. The wine drunk pork belly is also killer good though and so is their chicken teriyaki! I also really like their honey milk tea, it’s nice to have real milk tea and I appreciate that they make it easy to select how sweet you want your milk tea 50% sweetness for me!The staff is always so helpful and the food is really consistent, they have never messed up my order. Once I came in to pickup my food and they hadn’t received my order due to their internet connection going down. They were able to confirm my order and knocked it out super fast for me, so what could’ve been awkward was no big deal! The only drawback is that the restaurant is very micro micro tiny, so it’s more a place to grab food to go, than to eat in.10/10 would recommend whether you have dietary restrictions or not ❤️Parking: It’s usually easy to park right out front but there’s also a lot behind the shop with a couple spots reserved for Hangry Panda!“
“Some of the best Teriyaki we’ve had in the Seattle area! Amazing orange chicken too. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We were happily surprised they came and let us know that the green tea and miso soup was included! Super clean and fast. Highly recommend this for lunch or dinner.“
“Very good Mom and Pop. Very Chinese. Here in Seattle people think that they can bring their pets to restaurants. Definitely not a good idea here. Likely end up on the table.Really authentic with Chinese staff and patrons.I have liked everything on the menu so far.I do recommend sticking with more of the whole meat type dishes. Some of the dumplings are kinda rubbery (lots of binder). That's actually authentic, but I'm not Chinese. They take your order all at one time and just start bringing stuff out in no particular order. I don't think they expect each person to eat an individual meal. I doubt that there is any way to get around that, so if you are really a special needs type of eater this is not for you. Most places in our area are more into that. That's something that I like about this place. It's not really for diners requiring special protection.“
“After many years of driving past this spot we decided to give it a shot. Great location, plenty of free parking, and decent food. We ordered two rolls I've never had before, 1) Golden Dragon and 2) Double Tuna Roll - both were delish. Our only complaint was the selection of music that was playing. Very very odd for an Asian restaurant.“
“I'm very grateful that this restaurant is near me. Me and my husband are struggling financially, so we limit eating out for like once or twice a month. And this is the only place we would go because of such a generous portion and great taste.“
“Located in a slightly sketchy-looking strip mall at the intersection of Mukilteo Speedway and 84th Street SW, Rainbow Wok and Teriyaki is a family-owned eatery specializing in both Japanese-style teriyaki offerings and Chinese dishes. I first stopped here for dinner when I was on a business trip in the area during January 2023, and returned in March 2023. On my first visit I ordered a Japanese/Chinese combination, chicken teriyaki with General Tso’s Chicken. I was impressed enough to come back a couple months later, when I went for chicken chow mein plus a side salad with very tasty dressing. In both cases, the food was well-prepared and flavorful. The dining room and service counter were clean and tidy. The service was friendly and efficient, the prices (while not cheap) were fair for these inflationary times, and the food portions were generous. I enjoyed both my meals at Rainbow Wok and Teriyaki, and would not hesitate to return should my business bring me back to Mukilteo.“
“This place, hands down, had the BEST CURRY IVE EVER TASTED! It was everything I wanted and more! The employees were friendly and made me feel welcome even though I didn't have any idea of what to do in the restaurant! It can be quite overwhelming with all the trinkets and novelty items!!! They are everywhere! Be prepared if you're an impulse buyer!!! Although I do have to admit, on the flip side, the owners must be serious HUSTLERS!!! LOL. Hope this post can help you decide whether or not to eat there!!! (((TOTALLY DECIDE TO EAT HERE! ITS WORTH IT MY FRIEND!!!!)))Parking: The parking is kinda all over the place with a parking lot that looks like it's been through 2 wars. It's kinda a crazy looking place! But the food is absolutely worth it!!“
“Consistent, high-quality foods with A+ vegetarian and carnivorous options alike. Been going here for about a year and never had a bad experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful!Vegetarian options: A good 1/4th of the menu is vegetarian/vegan or easily subbed to vegetarian/vegan. The wok dishes in particular are a favorite.“
“In shortNeighborhood pho joint with a straightforward menu. They're delivering the goods for a fair price. In longThis is a bustling strip mall on an even-more-bustling 4-lane thoroughfare into Mill Creek. The parking lot is always packed. Especially on weekends, you can often assume that the pool hall/sports bar in the corner suite is drawing most of that traffic. But like most of the smaller businesses here, Pho Hoang has some reserved parking and you can hook it straight up. There's pho available at a couple spots within a few miles, but there are a ton of subdivisions and apartment complexes right around here. I was not at all surprised to see well over a dozen takeaway orders leave the dining room while I ate, and to hear a constant clatter from the kitchen, even though I was the only person eating in.You walk in to an open dining room with minimal decor. Dozen tables, acoustic drop ceiling, simple art. No muss, no fuss. Pay station in the back, tell 'em how many in your party and ya have a seat. No TVs I don't think, no music playing. A couple big potted plants. Seemed like the staff was mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, plus somebody in the kitchen and daughter at the pay station. Everyone is super nice, chatting warmly to each other in Vietnamese throughout my visit. I felt like I was visiting people in their home, in the nicest possible way. For my first time in, I got the usual steak and brisket. A small was filling for sure. You get an old teapot with a teabag steeping in it if you ask. They bring you a chilled plastic bottle of water when you sit. The broth was good stuff here. Rich and marrowy, nice and clear, good balanced spices. Everything in it was as it should be--tender meat, chewy noodles, nice flavor to the meatballs. The meatballs were a nice surprise, actually. The condiments were all in good shape--crunchy sprouts, very juicy fresh lime, super-aromatic basil. They don't bring you jalapenos or cilantro, and I didn't ask for any so I don't know if they stock it. But it was a perfectly satisfying bowl of soup as it was. I was out the door with a good tip for barely $20, happily armored against a cold damp day.“
“I'm not the biggest fan of Teriyaki but I was craving it and saw this little place on the corner street and tried it out and I was not disappointed! The food was beautifully cooked and made with love. The employees working are so friendly and patient with their customers, that's something I look for. It's probably the cleanest Teriyaki place I've ever been to. I'm highly impressed and will be going back as a happy customer!“
“Perfect for Asian noodles cravings! There's a sign pointing at a door but the entrance is around the corner. The people there are super friendly. I love that they have a separate vegan menu, making it easy to order for us vegans. I got the tofu veggie Chow Mein 2 star. The 2 star runs a bit on the spicier side, but it was perfect for me.Vegetarian options: Separate vegan menu“
“Absolutely love this place. Family owned, Banh Mi’s are great. Growing up in a Vietnamese household, we’d come up to Seattle from Olympia to get banh mi’s. Rise and shine is one of the restaurants that replicates that same taste I remember. Highly recommend.“
