“INCREDIBLE!! You gotta eat here. It's delicious, fresh, light and loaded with amazing flavor. Go nuts because the portions are reasonable and every dish is different. We had the perfect day to use the sunny patio and really enjoyed the presence of the super kind staff. There is easy parking behind the Angkor Market corner grocery store. It was relatively inexpensive for such a decadent meal!

What we had, good for 2-4ppl:
Fried chicken wings, 6pcs appetizer: the perfect fry on the chicken WOW!!! Must have with the papaya salad, trust me

Lemongrass Beef Skewers, 3 pcs appetizer: succulent and tender YUM!!!

Papaya Salad: fresh and perfect to pair with the fried chicken! Do it, pair it with the fried chicken wings! Choose your spiciness level carefully.

Phad Lao (chicken): lovely flavor and perfect texture, YES!!

Eggrolls, 2 piece, veggie: perfect crispiness, light and well wrapped, mmmmmm

Mango Sticky Rice: lovely way to end the meal, perfect mango!

We added on a round of Lao/Thai beer and it was heaven. We thought we had ordered so much we would have to bring some home but ended up eating every morsel.“

“Underrated Teriyaki and Korean food restaurant with easy take out. Best teriyaki on Rainier and perhaps in town. The only fault that it is closed on Sundays. Quite delicious food options. This is the place you want to go for a delicious meal.“

Checked out the menu and my mind (and belly) wouldn't allow me to go another day without experiencing the enoki fritters, so a late lunch ensued with fritters and street corn today. “Our first visit was yesterday for lunch and we had Chicken Xiao Long Bao, Chicken pan-fried potstickers, Chicken and Vegetable Won-tons in sweet and sour sauce and Spicy (Ma la) noodles.....all were very good! The service was excellent and we enjoyed the whole experience!!“

“This is a great teriyaki place. The teriyaki in particular is fantastic, and awesome fried rice as well. It's a small shop, not many tables, probably not the kind of place that you want to hang out and eat at if you're looking for atmosphere, but you are certainly welcome to grab a table if you so choose. People here are plenty friendly, but they are often very busy, so it can feel rushed, but they're just trying to make sure everybody gets service. They are a bit pricey, but what isn't in Seattle these days. I recommend getting the teriyaki, and get it to go.

Chicken had grilled flavor, pickled vegetables are fresh and full of flavor but not overwhelming. Bread is firm but not overly hard. Sauce is tasty, creamy, tangy and salty. Would go again for the same food.“

“Very good experience. The restaurant is comfortable, welcoming, and a great place to enjoy a meal. We tried several dishes, and the sushi was absolutely delicious I definitely feel that it’s one of their specialties. The ramen wasn’t my favorite, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience because everything else was very good. We had a very enjoyable meal, and the service was great. “I am regular visitor here. They have one of the best Mala Pho I have ever tasted (a must dish if you love numbing spicy flavor). I also highly recommend Grandma's Pork Belly Bao which is just right combination of sweet and savory. Honestly, there is nothing to complain about rice bowl but the pho and bao are the real deal.“

“I’ve lived on Alki since 1989. I’ve seen many restaurants come and go from this location. Lotus on the Beach is the best of them all. The ability to pick from a variety of Vietnamese and Thai dishes is its strength. The owner and staff welcome any and all critiques of the food and service.“

“My first time in and really didn’t have many expectations but was blown away by the friendly staff. Ordered papaya salad w/ tofu. Tofu came fried to perfection in my book. Requested some fish sauce, the server asked if I would prefer fish dressing, big smile on my face :). Ordered a (banh-mi) sandwich w/ tofu, tofu was a little soft for my liking but had great flavor and a overly fair amount of ingredients, two thumbs up 👍. “Takeout only, so plan accordingly, no seating. Parking is street only, but there's a loading zone right out front that's easy to pull up to. I got the combo with chicken teriyaki and spicy garlic chicken. Order was ready when I arrived, which I appreciated.

The teriyaki had good char marks and solid flavor, exactly what you want from teriyaki. The spicy garlic chicken I'd put at maybe a 2/5 on heat, so don't go in expecting anything intense. It's pretty mild, west coast spicy. I actually wanted more flavor and heat from it, but my partner thought it was way too spicy, so there's a wide range there. Between the two, I preferred the spicy garlic. Rice was cooked well.

Next on my list is the bang bang chicken. It's also connected to Salad Party, which is run by the same owners. Haven't tried it yet but I’m very curious.“

“You can pay with cash at the counter, but don’t be surprised when you walk in and see a lot of people standing around. They’ve already placed their order on a kiosk and they’re waiting for their number to be called. There isn’t a lot of flexibility in the menu and I think that’s what makes the flow of service very easy for this company is a very good model of business. There is some dine in seating. Most people just walk out with the container in hand no bag ready to eat everything is pretty much teriyaki based chicken they charge you extra for spicy so I would recommend getting regular and then just adding your own sauce for spice so I don’t have any pictures. I already ate.“

“My son and I love pho, and on day after his dental appointment next door, we wondered over here and discovered this place.
My first impression is that this place has an inviting, home-like feeling. They bake some pastries/donuts fresh themselves.
The pho was a hit for my son, and we thanked the lady who said it was her very own (or family?) recipe? That was our first visit, so I can't quite remember exactly 😅
I tried their breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. Just the right amount, too.
I'm all about customer service and genuine people. And I can tell these guys have a passion for what they do.

“My partner and I came in and was impressed by the taste of their pho broth. If you've been to Vietnam or remember mom's homemade pho, this is exactly what I got from this place. Easily my personal favorite restaurant to indulge when I want pho and amazing spring rolls.

Don't let the exterior or interior intimidate you, because their food is amazing. The interior atmosphere is reminiscent to how older Vietnamese restaurants looked like pre-2008 and made me remember fond memories.“

Had an amazing experience at Bahn Thai, the service was truly excellent. The servers were incredibly attentive, filling our water glasses whenever they noticed they were getting low, and checking in to make sure everything tasted good, which it absolutely did.
We ordered the khao soi, fried rangoons, pork belly with sticky rice, and everything was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The Thai tea was so good, I had to order it twice, and their plum wine was absolutely delicious.
Huge shoutout to Sean, Hailey, and Paul, they were all amazing, and made us feel so well taken care of. I’ll definitely be back for the outstanding service, and even better food!“

“I love Teriyaki but that best Teriyaki that I ever had was here, and I am always trying new places but I finally found my favorite one here, the portions are big it last me for two meals easy, I love the quality of the food as well. The sauce and the rice bowls itself have so much flavor! The meat wasn’t dry at all and was actually really tender. Perfect portion size and presentation. The rice bowls remind me of home. It’s healthy, gluten, and dairy free!

It's delicious, always fresh, always quick, and the staff are very nice. They work really hard here to do their best, there is parking in the garage for free, they have a bomb drink selection, they give generous serving sizes, they have a vast menu of options. I genuinely have no complaints.

“This is a pretty cool concept, where there's a ton of different options to choose from. unlike somewhere like chipotle, though, you actually choose how much of each thing you want, and load your plate up - which resembles a buffet style. But also unlike a buffet, you pay by the pound at the end.

Invariably, this lends itself to any reasonable person skipping the majority of carbs and focusing on the higher-value meats, which is what i did. I was able to get a combination of 16 different foods on my plate, including 9 different meats.
Some of them were pretty good. The salmon was decent enough, the teriyaki was also good, as was the beef meatball. I also liked the bulgogi and spicy pork. As far as meats I didn't like - the chicken breast was astoundingly dry. There was also nothing 'korean' about the Korean fried chicken.

Non-meat wise, I really liked the combination of the yakisoba and kimchi fried rice. Both of these were great options to pair with the meat variety I had in my plate.

The price comes it at around 13 dollars per pound, which is basically what mine ended up being. It's not bad for the amount of meat you get

Overall, this place is the epitome of variety over quality - but if you're just looking to try a bunch of things, there are worse places to find. 7/10“

“This is such a gem. It's nothing fancy, but their food always tastes great. My recommendations are obviously the chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, and gyoza. I also had ribs and those were good too. It's a perfect place to go when you just don't want to cook but want something that isn't too greasy. I personally like their salad too, but my partner doesn't like them (more for me 😁). The person who works there (I feel like it's the same woman all the time) is friendly as well! Highly recommend!!!“
