“It's a small, intimate setting with super friendly service. Every dish we had was just delicious and done well. From the Seafood pancake (which was actually crispy and made fresh so well) to the spicy chicken to the grilled pork belly, you are assaulted with deliciousness constantly. I've been there 4 times and I couldn't recommend more.“

“We catered food from Yamada Teriyaki and were blown away. The samosas were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the House Special Fried Rice was a total hit, generously loaded with tender meat, shrimp, and vegetables, all seasoned to perfection.

Everything arrived fresh, hot, and beautifully packed. The portions were generous, and the quality was outstanding. The service was smooth, friendly, and reliable. For the price and portion sizes, the catering option is absolutely worth it.

One thing I also really like is that Mandalay Deli Mart is right next door, so it is super convenient to grab drinks, snacks, Burmese goodies, or quick deli items all in one stop.

As we were exploring we were looking for a place to have lunch & so we happened to walk by Vivienne’s Bistro II. Decided to go in & try the place out. This turned out to be a great choice. We ordered the Lobster Rangoon appetizer, my wife ordered the Broccoli with chicken & I ordered the General Tao’s Chicken. The food & service were extremely good. We highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Asian cuisine.“

“You can pay with cash at the counter, but don’t be surprised when you walk in and see a lot of people standing around. They’ve already placed their order on a kiosk and they’re waiting for their number to be called. There isn’t a lot of flexibility in the menu and I think that’s what makes the flow of service very easy for this company is a very good model of business. There is some dine in seating. Most people just walk out with the container in hand no bag ready to eat everything is pretty much teriyaki based chicken they charge you extra for spicy so I would recommend getting regular and then just adding your own sauce for spice so I don’t have any pictures. I already ate.“

“This spot feels less like a restaurant and more like a community hub. Homey & welcoming.

Coming from the restaurant background, I grew to love food places that have no gimmicks and are true to their standard - Pho Liu is on top of that short list in Seattle.

I go here 3 times a week & they serve consistently high quality pho. The small bowl (pictured) is more than enough & leaves room to try their delicious apps. Fish-sauced wings, spring rolls, egg rolls are all phenomenal.

One way to tell they take care of their craft is how long the noodles can sit in the broth without releasing any starch. Fresh noodles, perfectly cooked, and well strained. Also their bean sprouts and herbs are extremely fresh. Never once have I had soggy or bitter bean sprouts here - which is more common at pho places than you’d think.

The owner family & servers here are great & kind people, as well. The subtle cues are how many regulars I’ve seen on random visits and how well the fish (in the fish tank) are taken care of.

This neighborhood place is truly one of the last pre-tech boom Seattle relics.“

“I was looking for some good good teriyaki that I could get to on the light rail. This spot hit just right! Quick and easy walk from the Othello light rail station. The air-conditioning felt so nice and the customer service was top tier, I love that they have mix and match options for the combos. They took time to help me understand the menu and all the options. I like this little shop's standard Teriyaki and come regularly; and decided to challenge them to see if they could meet my Spicy requirements. “This is such a gem. It's nothing fancy, but their food always tastes great. My recommendations are obviously the chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, and gyoza. I also had ribs and those were good too. It's a perfect place to go when you just don't want to cook but want something that isn't too greasy. I personally like their salad too, but my partner doesn't like them (more for me 😁). The person who works there (I feel like it's the same woman all the time) is friendly as well! Highly recommend!!!“

“This is a pretty cool concept, where there's a ton of different options to choose from. unlike somewhere like chipotle, though, you actually choose how much of each thing you want, and load your plate up - which resembles a buffet style. But also unlike a buffet, you pay by the pound at the end.

Invariably, this lends itself to any reasonable person skipping the majority of carbs and focusing on the higher-value meats, which is what i did. I was able to get a combination of 16 different foods on my plate, including 9 different meats.
Some of them were pretty good. The salmon was decent enough, the teriyaki was also good, as was the beef meatball. I also liked the bulgogi and spicy pork. As far as meats I didn't like - the chicken breast was astoundingly dry. There was also nothing 'korean' about the Korean fried chicken.

Non-meat wise, I really liked the combination of the yakisoba and kimchi fried rice. Both of these were great options to pair with the meat variety I had in my plate.

The price comes it at around 13 dollars per pound, which is basically what mine ended up being. It's not bad for the amount of meat you get

Overall, this place is the epitome of variety over quality - but if you're just looking to try a bunch of things, there are worse places to find. 7/10“

“Nikko is one of my go-to lunch spots. Their teriyaki chicken is the best in the valley. The portions are generous, and the sauce has a unique spice in it that I love, not your ordinary bottle variety sauce. Service is fast and always friendly.

In my most recent visit I strayed from the usual to sample their yakisoba noodles. Again, large portions for an exceptional value. It was fresh and hot. I ate it all, but I probably won't order it again, as I found the sauce too sweet. Next time back to the chicken.
