Having eaten from a number of Japanese restaurants in the Seattle area (and London and New York etc), this one has some of the highest quality fish of any I have tried. We ordered the house special sashimi selection and a number of rolls - all were excellent, the service is great, very fast and friendly. This is now my go to for sushi in the East / South of Seattle. Yuzen is such a great local spot on the south end of Mercer Island! We’ve always had excellent service and consistently delicious food. We recently tried a couple of the new menu items, and they definitely did not disappoint. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We’re always happy to support this neighborhood gem and look forward to coming back again!

Yuzen Japanese Cuisine offers amazing food with outstanding sushi rolls, udon, and fried oysters appetizer. The Hiyashi Wakame seaweed salad is great too. The friendly staff provides excellent service in a clean, nice ambiance. This casual and friendly neighborhood spot offers beautiful sushi and Japanese food. The Yuzen curry is elegantly creamy and very flavorful. It is a high-quality option near Seattle/Bellevue. A must-visit for sushi lovers looking for top-notch quality.
