It has been here for years, I have eaten here a billion times, they are always so sweet to customers and the food is always warm, delicious, and cozy. Writing this review because I genuinely love this restaurant so much and I want it to be here forever.“

“Great spot but would no longer recommend due to poor takeout service (hosted by Smile which is likely to blame). If you're dining in, ignore this review. We placed an order this evening and the email said pick-up would be ready immediately (stated the same time the order was was a bit of a red flag, but no one wants cold food) so I rushed over. Follow-up email and text said 50 mins but those were received after I was on the road. I've now been watching folks eat for 30 mins, waiting.....“

Beyond the food, the hospitality was incredible, a warmth that’s honestly rare to find in Seattle. The ambiance and decor made it feel like dining in someone’s cozy home (in the best way possible). Checked out the menu and my mind (and belly) wouldn't allow me to go another day without experiencing the enoki fritters, so a late lunch ensued with fritters and street corn today. “I am so glad we have Rainier Teriyaki as our go-to takeout spot! I’m a vegetarian and this is the best tofu teriyaki I’ve had! It’s nicely fried and stays crispy and reheats really well in air fryer. Their sauce is delicious and my partner loves their chicken. Our order has always been correct and neatly packaged and they confirm when you pick it up! I really admire their consistency. Very friendly staff, once I called just before closing and they kindly took my order which was for a friend who had just been visiting a family member in the hospital. It was such a comfort meal for her and I was so grateful! Really great spot with qualify food!“

“It's a small, intimate setting with super friendly service. Every dish we had was just delicious and done well. From the Seafood pancake (which was actually crispy and made fresh so well) to the spicy chicken to the grilled pork belly, you are assaulted with deliciousness constantly. I've been there 4 times and I couldn't recommend more.“

Have a good wine selection so step outside of the box and try a wine you never had before, the waiter can suggest. The prices are good, but remember the serving are large, you will not leave empty. It has the feel of a diner but the food is outstanding. We were the only only ones there at the time, so the owner talked to us about her business. She was very pleasant and engaging. “We catered food from Yamada Teriyaki and were blown away. The samosas were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the House Special Fried Rice was a total hit, generously loaded with tender meat, shrimp, and vegetables, all seasoned to perfection.

Everything arrived fresh, hot, and beautifully packed. The portions were generous, and the quality was outstanding. The service was smooth, friendly, and reliable. For the price and portion sizes, the catering option is absolutely worth it.

One thing I also really like is that Mandalay Deli Mart is right next door, so it is super convenient to grab drinks, snacks, Burmese goodies, or quick deli items all in one stop.

Highly recommend Yamada Teriyaki for catering, authentic flavors, great presentation, and excellent value. We will definitely be back for more.“

“We did take out and even after a 20 minute drive, the food was still hot and delish! Found them through a 3rd party app and sometimes those are hit or miss, Grillbird was 10/10! Coming from the restaurant background, I grew to love food places that have no gimmicks and are true to their standard - Pho Liu is on top of that short list in Seattle.

I go here 3 times a week & they serve consistently high quality pho. The small bowl (pictured) is more than enough & leaves room to try their delicious apps. Fish-sauced wings, spring rolls, egg rolls are all phenomenal.

One way to tell they take care of their craft is how long the noodles can sit in the broth without releasing any starch. Fresh noodles, perfectly cooked, and well strained. Also their bean sprouts and herbs are extremely fresh. Never once have I had soggy or bitter bean sprouts here - which is more common at pho places than you’d think.

The owner family & servers here are great & kind people, as well. The subtle cues are how many regulars I’ve seen on random visits and how well the fish (in the fish tank) are taken care of.

This neighborhood place is truly one of the last pre-tech boom Seattle relics.“

“This is one of my go to places when I don't want to get food at work. I believe its a family owned business. My favorite is the regular teriyaki chicken. Food comes out freshly made, hot and the teriyaki sauce is the perfect balance of sweet. Usually do takeout as the lobby isn't the biggest but you can eat in. Very conveniently located by the Microsoft Studios. Way better than the chicken available on campus.“

The sauce and the rice bowls itself have so much flavor! The meat wasn’t dry at all and was actually really tender. Perfect portion size and presentation. The rice bowls remind me of home. It’s healthy, gluten, and dairy free!

“I was looking for some good good teriyaki that I could get to on the light rail. This spot hit just right! Quick and easy walk from the Othello light rail station. The air-conditioning felt so nice and the customer service was top tier, I love that they have mix and match options for the combos. They took time to help me understand the menu and all the options. Ive been here many times since that first visit. Everything Ive tried so far has been delicious, my family has been happy with their meals as well. Highly recommend !“

“Stable vietnamese restaurant, with a good selection of vegetarian dishes. My go to for vegetarian pho and vegetarian bamboo noodle soup, vermicelli bowl also delicious. My husband love their special Pho. Their vietnamese is on the strong side so be careful. Quick service and plenty of parking. Lunch time can be really busy.“
