“This is my favorite Teriyaki joint. Run by lovely people, the food is excellent, dine in and takeout are always great experiences.
Vegetarian options: Tofu teriyaki is my favorite, as is the miso soup. Tofu is fried very well, good flavor and texture.“

“This place is great! Wonderful atmosphere, exceptional customer service, and reasonably priced food. Stopped here for a quick dinner and it was really nice. Our waiter was super friendly and checked on us once or twice. Our drinks were refilled repeatedly, which is a mark of good customer service in my book. The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. Very calm dining experience. I'd highly recommend it. I got the basil chicken dish and my partner ordered green chicken curry. The portions were decently sized and the food was well seasoned and flavorful.“

“This has to be the top mom and pop Korean joint on highway 99. They recently reopened the sitting area! The menu is limited but portions are larger than life. The aroma can be felt from the parking lot. The sweet lady working the front is so patient with you.
10/10 recommend coming atleast once just for the portion size. One sweet and sour chicken and pork dumplings will be enough for 3 servings for a single person.
I wish I came here often.“

“As a Vietnamese person, I’m always searching for restaurants that capture the authentic flavors of home, and Meekong Bar did not disappoint. The menu is full of classic dishes that are made with incredible attention to detail with slight variations. Ordered the village bowl and it hit all the right spots. Their prices are also extremely reasonable.
The crispy spring rolls were perfectly fried, and I could tell that the ingredients were fresh and high quality. It’s rare to find a place that nails the balance between traditional and modern, but Meekong Bar does just that. Every dish had me nodding in approval and feeling nostalgic.
The ambiance is relaxed yet sophisticated, which made it a great spot to unwind with friends or with a date. If you want a true taste of Vietnamese cuisine, Meekong Bar is a must-visit. Highly recommend it to anyone craving an authentic experience—coming from someone who knows!“

“I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Let me start off with this is the best teriyaki I’ve ever had. The chicken is perfect and juicy, and the rice is sticky and delicious. The gyozas are so tasty, I will be dreaming about them for the foreseeable future.
Also, thank you to the woman who brought our order out to our car. It wasn’t ready when we came to pick it up and we are so grateful you brought it out to us.
Amazing place!!!!“

“Nissi Banh is a Vietnamese deli, which is a staple of many Vietnamese communities. There are a lot of freshly made take-out and pantry items to choose from, and the staff is always nice.
I would recommend these options:
* bánh giò (banana leaf wrapped steam rice cake with ground pork) - The rice cake and pork are moist and tasty.
* nem nướng (pork meatball skewers) were really good and the flavor is just like the ones I ate growing up
* bánh ít trần (mung bean sticky rice dumplings): soo good with nice amount of filling
The bánh cuốn (rice rolls with ground pork) were okay, but from my experience, it’s harder to maintain freshness for this unless you go to a sit-down restaurant that serves it as soon as it’s made.
I haven’t tried the bánh mì or drinks here, which seem to be the most popular options here, but will hopefully be back to try them.“

“Vivienne’s Bistro offers a cozy atmosphere and attentive service, but the food left me with mixed impressions.
The sesame shrimp toast had a pleasant crunch and satisfying texture, yet it fell short on delivering the distinct shrimp flavor I was hoping for.
The karaage, served with a sweet and sour sauce, lacked the juiciness and depth of flavor I was seeking, leaving it feeling somewhat underwhelming.
The fried cod was a letdown. It arrived overly oily, with a crust that crumbled apart. The seasoning was also far too salty, which masked the fish's natural flavor.
The squid ink fried rice had an intriguing look but didn’t deliver on taste. The dish was heavy with oil and salt, and the bacon flavor overpowered everything else. It wasn’t unpleasant, but it lacked the depth and seafood-forward notes I expected from a dish like this.
The short rib, however, was exceptional. Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, it stood out as the clear star of the menu. The sauce, while rich, added complexity, though it could be toned down slightly for a more balanced bite. This is the dish I would return for, even if the rest of the menu fell short.
Vivienne’s Bistro has great potential, and with some refinement, the food could better reflect the thoughtfulness of its ambiance and service.“

“Good quality food, quick service, clean interior, friendly staff…all around great restaurant, no notes! Definitely a hidden gem tucked away in a random plaza not too far from the city. I came on a Friday after work and despite it being during their rush, the staff were very polite and the food came out fast and tasted great! Will definitely be returning whenever the teriyaki cravings hit“

“Delicious, fast, good value for your money, and easy to order takeout online! I love this place.
The garlic spicy chicken has great flavor.
I like to order an extra side salad, and dump it over my chicken for added textural variety.“

“This is my go-to teriyaki place. Is it a tiny little hole in the wall with limited seating? Yes. But the food is amazing and the people are super nice. They offer generous portions, and the ingredients are clearly fresh and high quality. Spicy chicken is bomb, beef teriyaki is delicious, but the crispy garlic chicken is really where it's at. Big pieces of meat with no gristle whatsoever. So so so good.

“Apparently the old Ikiiki Sushi is now replaced by the new "Toma Sushi." The menu has changed significantly, and the food looks much more delicate than before (yes this is opinionated). We got what they called the Sea Turtle roll and the Unagi Don. They are a bit on the pricier side but the taste is solid. The restaurant is very clean and the service was great. Would visit again.“

“Always a great spot for take-away. I always get the beef teriyaki and it's great, sauce is not overwhelming. Recently had their orange chicken and I like it. Not too overwhelming and it doesn't have a weird mayonnaise-y aftertaste like other take-away Chinese.“

“This is one of my go to places when I don't want to get food at work. I believe its a family owned business. My favorite is the regular teriyaki chicken. Food comes out freshly made, hot and the teriyaki sauce is the perfect balance of sweet. Usually do takeout as the lobby isn't the biggest but you can eat in. Very conveniently located by the Microsoft Studios. Way better than the chicken available on campus.“

“You get a bowl and pick the noodles and toppings you want. The quality of the toppings will vary depending on the time of day you go. The toppings are pretty standard. Then you pick a protein. They have a range of protein choices. The noodles freshly cooked on a big iron plate. This tastes amazing because it’s hot and freshly cooked. The flavor of the noodles is pretty standard. You can add “gravy like” sauces on your noodle, but it’ll make it very wet and soggy.
Not saying the food is bad at all, sometimes I actually crave it! I think it’s just tasty because it’s freshly made and hot. The actual flavor is rather average

“Having grown up in Singapore, I'm always on the hunt for good Singaporean, Malaysian, and Indonesian food. ASEAN Streat Food Hall did not disappoint. Their Singapore Noodles had the right mixture of spices to bring me home again. With huge portions and such a wide variety on the menus it will take at least a dozen visits to try them all.“

“Seattle Times has picked up on the wonderful catfish po’ boy/banh mi here, and Le’s Bakery proudly displays the news article in their store.
All the banh mi sandwiches are fresh and delicious here, and the po’ boy is a standout. The pate chaud (pork meat pie) and egg rolls are also really good.
I have less of a preference for sweets, but they have a rotating selection of both Vietnamese and American pastries and cakes, and everything looks well made.
Restaurant is also clean and has AC.“

“I was craving pho, and stopped in here after running an errand. It was AWESOME!! I was so happy. I ordered the veggie and tofu pho with beef broth to go, and I couldn't be happier. I will be going back, and soon! The prices were reasonable, and the broth was excellent! I highly recommend ;)“
“Normally a fantastic place good portions and the best kungpao around . The ramen is also very very good. Recently tried a soup/sandwich combo and the chicken noodle was straight up Campbell’s with a little extra chicken . That was a bit insulting so I took off a star . If your gonna go between 11-1 call ahead so you can just pick it up“

“I almost want to keep this spot a secret, but the food scene is Seattle has been wilding so I'm sure it's only going to continue to get popular.
Celebrated my birthday here with my family. We were a party of 6 so we made reservations in advance. After sitting down for 30 minutes, the entire place was packed & there was a wait. If possible I recommend making a reservation if you're a big group or going off hours to avoid the long wait.
I love the concept of the place. I love the appetizer bar & the drinks included in the AYCE price. The quality and the amount was totally worth it. I didn't take as much photos as I would have as I was self-indulging myself with all the food.
I would absolutely and positively come back. Hopefully soon! 🫰🏼“

“s definitely a better quality than plain ground beef, but I didn’t feel it was quite that tasty. Beef was dry, and didn’t have any buttery taste, a but it a step down from say the beef used in a crying tiger dish. The rice was different, but not like it was particularly amazing. I liked that there was a lot of green onions. I also greatly enjoyed the Lemon Garlic sauce, it was definitely well made and umami. For the price tag of $23+ I felt the portion size wasn’t great, and the meal taste wasn’t much of a wow factor. For an office lunch, I would prefer something cheaper with greater portions size. There wasn’t much rice, and I felt it was a little thinly layered. I was more like 70% full after eating this.If you want to try something new and splurge a little then try Umami Express Wagyu Beef. This was decent food, I however will likely not order again“

“I recently dined at Poke Bay and was thoroughly impressed by the freshness of their seafood. The fish in my poke bowl tasted like it was caught that very morning—firm, succulent, and full of flavor. Every bite was a testament to their commitment to quality. The variety on the menu was equally impressive, with an array of toppings and sauces that allowed me to customize my bowl to my exact liking. It's refreshing to see such a wide selection of fresh vegetables and unique mix-ins that go beyond the typical offerings. The staff's recommendations were spot-on, guiding me to create a bowl that was both nutritious and indulgent. The generous portions left me feeling satisfied without being heavy, and the vibrant, crisp ingredients made the meal an absolute delight. Poke Bay has certainly set the bar high for poke in the city!“

“From start to finish, Wild Wasabi was amazing. It was our first visit since the rebrand (? Maybe not a rebrand but it was a different, disappointing, hibachi restaurant previously) and we will definitely return to Wild Wasabi!
The host helped us with the new parking instructions. Our server explained each menu and even asked if it was our first time, if we knew how to order- but not in a condescending way! It was always a very pleasant interaction and she made sure we got refills and cleared our plates as needed when we finished each "course". We visited on a Saturday evening after 7pm and had leas than a 10 minute wait for a hibachi table. The staff were all well presented and had some Halloween-spirit going on with headbands and full body costumes!
Of course, you get a full show during your hibachi Chef's cooking and our Chef was very personable and talented. We chatted about how long it took him to learn certain tricks and he inquired if we were celebrating anything or just having a date.
Our food was cooked to perfection. We were previously avid fans of Mizu hibachi restaurants but have been severely disappointed in the quality of our food over the last year or so. This was not the case at Wild Wasabi! I cannot think of one complaint from the starter soup+salad, hibachi main course, nor the sushi roll we ordered. The portion received is well worth the cost. Within our meals we had steak, chicken, shrimp and tofu, along with fried rice and veggies. It was all extremely flavorful. Nothing was overcooked and the roll presentation was out of a magazine! We were able to sub the veggies in one meal for double rice, were given plenty of extra sauce (we are sauce junkies!) and even sauces & and bag for our to-go boxes.
My only peeve was the noise/interruptions. Of course it's expected when dining out but it felt like a lot... There was some sort of sport game or TV action on the other side (Assuming that's a bar area? We didn't visit or inquire.) where frequent group exclamations took over the attention of the entire restaurant, even while a whole fired up grill and fan are booming in your face as your chef cooks. There were also 4 birthday celebrations in the 1 hour visit we had. It's not a 15 second happy birthday song either... it is a whole drawn out performance with loud drums where multiple staff members participate each time. It definitely interrupts conversations abruptly and gets annoying very quickly. Expect a loud visit.
Vegetarian options: Tofu and vegetables are offered for both rolls and hibachi. They will be cooked in the same grill as your table's meat options, so you may experience cross contamination with meat during the cooking process.
Parking: You must scan a QR code to enter the zone you're in and your license plate for free parking. If you don't do it in the garage, it is also posted in every business. At Wild Wasabi, the host actually asked us if we parked in the garage and helped us through the QR instructions very patiently.“

“Ichi Bento consistently has the best Teriyaki in Seattle. Their chicken teriyaki always get a nice char on the outside that keeps it juicy and complements the sweetness and umami of their teriyaki sauce. They’ve been a part of the community for decades, and I hope they stay for many to come!“
