“Great Thai food, but the regular menu had me wondering if I accidentally walked into TAO Las Vegas. 😅 $28 for pineapple fried rice in a cafe style place?
Prices on the menu are exorbitant for the place and the plate
Liked their large vegetarian options so I will be frequently visiting this place until they increase the prices
The lunch menu is the real MVP, affordable, comes with a complimentary salad, and the mint & tamarind dressing is delicious. Without the lunch specials, this review would’ve lost a few stars 😅”
“Their drinks n pastries are unique that you won’t find it anywhere else. Definitely worth the wait!!!”
“Visited Bottle and Bull to catch up with a friend and try some cocktails. It was packed inside so getting a reservation was a smart idea. Drinks were solid and service pleasant throughout. Didn't try any food on this visit.”

“There are places in this world that find you rather than the other way around. I have sat in the grand dining rooms of Florence. I have lingered over Barolo in the hill towns of Piedmont. I have smoked aged Cubans on terraces overlooking the Adriatic while the sun took its time disappearing. I know what the real thing feels like.
And yet here I was, a man who has circled this particular block in Kirkland a thousand times behind the wheel of something fast, never once stopping. Downtown Kirkland has a reputation among those of us who know it well. Restaurants arrive with great fanfare, burn bright for a season, and vanish like smoke from a cigar you wish you had savored more slowly. I had written this neighborhood off without ever giving Rimini the courtesy of a glance.
Then one evening, alone, family abroad, I found myself searching for something worth dressing for. Waze delivered me, almost conspiratorially, to a door I had passed in ignorance more times than I care to admit. Fifty feet from my cigar lounge. Walking distance from my favorite Mexican table. There it was. Waiting.
I walked in and the room rearranged something inside me.
The staff moves through the dining room speaking Italian with the easy confidence of people who were born into it. The beautiful ones condescend to English when necessary and do so graciously. The candles are not decorative. The wine list is not a gesture. It is a serious document assembled by someone who has actually been to the vineyards, who understands that a great Italian meal is not complete without a bottle that has its own story to tell.
It took me immediately back to Firenze and Crossroads in their prime, twenty years ago, before success made them comfortable and comfort made them ordinary. Rimini carries that same electricity. That same sense that you are somewhere that matters, that the kitchen takes it personally, that the room itself has ambition.
I dined solo and felt like a king.
This is not a restaurant for the timid or the indifferent. This is a room built for people who have tasted life at its most generous and still lean forward when the next glass arrives. Brothers and sisters, I have been around this world more than once. I know the real thing when it sits across from me.
Rimini is the real thing. Do not make the mistake I made. Walk through that door.”

“HBG is our go-to for custom cakes! Not only do they taste amazing, but they’re also one of the few local bakeries offering amazing vegan and nut-free options, which our family needs. Exceptional customer service, smooth communication, and very reasonable prices for such beautiful cakes. Highly recommend!”
“I don’t usually eat Italian out because I feel I do a good job at home. This place is way better than I can do. The menu/ordering process is a little challenging to figure out but worth the challenge. We’ve been twice and both times excellent. The salads are great, house made mozzarella with these sweet tomatoes and a balsamic reduction - so good! Tonight I had the gluten free pasta with mushrooms and white truffle oil, fried tofu, homemade sausage and ghost pepper oil. It was so freaking good! The atmosphere is fun as well, open, vibrant colors and Italian pop music. Welcome addition to Totem Lake.”
“Hello,
I live in downtown Kirkland area, and I have always loved Ivar's Seafood Bar. Even though I don’t eat out often, your food has always been one of my favorite choices.
During my last visit, I noticed a small fly on the edge of my plate. When I brought it to the register, the staff member who was otherwise very kind and helpful touched the edge of my plate with their hand and removed it, saying it was “just a herb.” In that moment, I didn’t know how to react, so I returned to my table and continued eating.
However, afterward I felt uncomfortable and unsettled. Part of me even questioned myself, but at the same time I couldn’t ignore that my plate had been touched. It affected me more than I expected I felt uneasy, and it stayed with me.
What makes me most sad is that I now feel like I can’t come back to a place I truly love. I find myself hesitating, as if I might experience something similar again. I believe this was an unintentional mistake, and I do not want anyone to get in trouble. I have respect for your team and understand that people can make small mistakes.
I kindly ask please ensure that situations like this are handled with care, and that no one touches a customer’s plate.
Thank you for your understanding. I’m sure you will take this into consideration.
I truly hope something can be done so I can feel comfortable coming back again, because right now I find it difficult to return to a place I really love.
If needed, I would be willing to share details of my visit to help you review the situation.
Sincerely,”
“Do yourself a favor and try Chicko Chicken in Kirkland! The chicken is unbelievably crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The sauces are amazing, the portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh and made to order.
It's become one of my favorite spots, and I find myself craving it all the time. If you're a fan of Korean fried chicken, this place is an absolute must-try! 🍗🔥”
“My son wanted to try gyros so we got some to go, they were SO good!! The artichoke dip & pita is great too.”

“Simply the best sushi place I've ever been to. I've been here 4 times in the last month, and it's been an incredible experience ever single time. Staff is friendly, the chef is quick, and the menu is unique filled with creative rolls that you just won't find in other places. With a rotating beer tap that has something new every time, this place will continue to be #1 and keep us coming back.”
“I have visited this restaurant with my friends on Friday evening. Nice hospitality and service, should give 5 start for it. Good vegetable options were available, we tried the Paneer Hariyali(grilled and not fried) and it was very tasty; also other vegetable food was great and tasty. I also tried their Goat Biryani and found to be ok compared to other restaurant, definitely suggest to improve on Biryani taste.”
“Anthony’s HomePort @ Kirkland made my Birthday Special. First was greeted by a wonderful staff at the check in area. Then when seated at a wonderful window view was handed a cute Birthday card. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful. But the cherry on top of the experience was the sunset view we had while dinning. Thank You Anthony’s for making my Birthday Special and unforgettable!”
“Been to many Italian restaurants being Italian living in Australia and to being at Ristorante Paradiso in Kirkland Washington Seattle was the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. Service was outstanding and had the best white wine I have ever had in my life a memorable experience”

“We went there today to have some great Mexican food and because my friend Sheryl was in town from Ohio. We had a great time and also had margaritas!!!”
“This is such a fun and cute tea shop! They offer a great selection of teas that you can drink in the shop, or buy to take home. They have all the gear you could want to make tea as well, from very nice matcha sets, to brewing bottles for on the go. The staff and owner are incredibly kind and they offer cool events as well.”

“I always thought McDonald’s staff weren’t very friendly and that the service was often disappointing. But James changed my opinion. He always has a great voice, a positive attitude, and provides excellent customer service. Every time I visit the Kirkland location, he makes the experience enjoyable. Employees like James make a real difference. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves a promotion or something similar. Thank you(Tuesday night, around 10 PM)”

“Mongolian Grill is one of those spots you keep coming back to because the food just hits right every time. You get to pick exactly what you want, and it’s always fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. On top of that, the staff is super friendly and the portions are more than worth it.”
“Very generous servings and friendly people. The food was fresh and well prepared. We hope to go back to try some other dishes.”

“I ordered the lavender latte with honey, and my husband opted for the drip coffee. I thoroughly enjoyed my lavender latte, and my husband was equally pleased with his drip coffee. Overall, it was a delightful experience. The outdoor seating adds to the ambiance, making it even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting during the summer, I highly recommend choosing the outdoor seating option. The indoor space is also equally good, it offers a spacious and pleasant atmosphere.”
“I recently tried the birria taco pack here, and honestly everything was AMAZING. The tacos were so flavorful, fresh, and perfectly made. You can really taste the care and quality in the food. They also gave a delicious cinnamon dessert with cream on the side, and it was the perfect sweet treat after the meal!
As someone who only eats halal, I truly appreciate restaurants that make the effort to provide halal Mexican food. It’s not always easy to find authentic Mexican food that is also halal, so finding this food truck made me genuinely excited. I LOVE Mexican food, and being able to enjoy birria tacos without worrying means so much.
Thank you for creating a halal option and making everyone feel included. The food, the flavor, and the kindness were all incredible. Definitely coming back again and recommending this food truck to everyone!”
“This family-owned gem is everything you want in authentic Mexican food. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with genuine smiles and warmth that make you feel right at home. Every dish carries the chef’s personal touch, you can taste the love and tradition in every bite :)”
“Early Bird Cafe is exactly the kind of locally owned restaurant every neighborhood hopes to have. From the moment you walk in, the owner and staff make you feel welcome with their genuine friendliness and hospitality.
The menu is extensive, offering something for everyone, and we've never been disappointed by anything we've ordered. Some of our favorites include the Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Eggplant in Garlic Sauce, and General Tso's Chicken. Every dish is flavorful, well-prepared, and served in generous portions that provide great value. They also offer an impressive selection of Boba drinks, making it easy to find something new to try.
What keeps us coming back, however, is the exceptional customer service. The owner is incredibly kind and often goes above and beyond - making sure guests have a great experience. It's clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority.
In a time when great service can be hard to find, Early Bird Cafe stands out as a true neighborhood gem. If you're looking for delicious food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is a fantastic choice for local dining. Highly recommended!”
“Why does Google ask for a picture? I had a wonderful meal and didn't need to pull out my phone. It's just rude to be taking pictures at a fine dining experience like this.”
Cheap Eats
“this is not really a coffee shop, it’s a waiting room for a Mazda dealership, and yet it’s a better coffee shop than the Mercury Coffee across the street! There’s indoor seating, a menu with baked goods and everything you expect from a local coffee shop. And the coffee is good!”
“The Lamb Schwarma plate is a feast for the eyes and the taste buds, with a portion to generously have leftovers later! The soup that comes with their plates is comforting without being heavy, and I could eat it every day. Also, if you love garlic, their MK fries are a must buy - my friend & I shared a half order, and came nowhere close to finishing them!”
“Just had the BBQ pork belly . Everything fresh and quality of the sandwich is outstanding, served with smiles. Lovely spot for delicious Banh mi (baguette with choice of meat and toppings) for a meal. Plus they have delicious Butterfly sunset tea,Black milk tea, Thai tea and fresh smoothies … All my favorite”
“Friendly staff they are welcoming and approachable. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. Wine selections are amazing.”
“Never thought I would put a country on my bucket list after eating their cuisine but this place did it. Phenomenal flavors, great service. Amazing experience.”

“The food is consistently fresh with nice sized portions. There was plenty of everything including sauce and meat. It has become one of my mainstays for lunch and dinner. The staff is friendly and accommodating. This is the best food I have tasted in this genre. It’s a fantastic, do not miss place that you will love. From soup to plates and bowls to salads, it never disappoints. You will find yourself craving more every time.”

“Not only is the crispy rice and tuna, pork belly bun, and ramen delicious but they are also life savers. My best friend started choking and one of the employees came and gave her the Heimlich maneuver. Thank you for helping her! I tried to tip the employee and he refused. Really thank you. I know everyone’s adrenaline through the roof!”
“My first time there and I'm ready to go back for more! The people were friendly, kitchen was immaculate, and everything is made from scratch. We tried the Kofta, and Shawarma wraps, falafel, Greek fries, and a dessert and liked it all. (But just a hint - don't order your fries first because it's hard to stop eating them they are so crispy and tasty!). We will definitely go back and recommend it to others!!”
“How about this for a review - OH What good luck, I just ate the most magnificent duck. At Sparrows I darn near made a glutton and fool of myself. Roasted duck with a cherry port wine sauce. My, my, my a beautiful cherry surprise. A leg, thigh and breast accompanied with an Argintine red wine. Lord all mighty is in the most rewarding places. Sparrows is all up in my palate doing naughty things that taste so so so good. Enough said - get there. DLNewt”
“My Father's Day Surprise was a visit to Arleana's Restaurant in Kirkland, Washington. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was very good, especially the jerk syrup was was delicious. And I am very picky about jerk seasoning. The Bloody Mary had a unique flavor. It was not my traditional BM. But it was surprisingly great. It's quite a drive for me. But I will return for the selection of food, drink and ambiance. This was a great dining experience.”

“We visited this place for the second time. The first time, the service was terrible, so we decided to come back a year later and give it another chance.
I will say upfront that this specific pasta was very tasty. However, as soon as the server placed the plate on the table, I noticed a hair in it. We were very hungry, so I quietly removed it and didn’t say anything
The service was also quite slow, likely because there were only two servers working the dining room, and it felt like we were forgotten at times. We waited a very long time for dessert, and later noticed that two desserts were added to our bill instead of one. I think this was probably because the server was overwhelmed and made the mistake in a rush
The view of the water is incredible, and the Italian food is delicious, but the service is what really brings this place down in rating”
“I was a bit skeptical booking dinner here after seeing some of the negative reviews online, but I honestly don't know why people are complaining.
Our experience was wonderful! Every dish was good and tasty, and the cocktails were great; definitely on the stronger side, which we appreciated.
To make things even better, our waitresses were super friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the entire night. Plus, the restaurant has a gorgeous waterfront view that makes for a perfect dinner setting.
Don't let the 3.9-star rating scare you off; it's absolutely worth a visit!”
“Really good stop for late night food in downtown Kirkland. My expectations were exceeded as the platters and sandwich were all really good. It felt like stepping outside of seattle when you walk in and hear the music. Closest thing to European kebab and it doesn’t break the bank. Will be back in the near future and looking forward to trying new things.”

“They’ve got something for everyone. The ajitama and pork chashu are done very well here. The takoyaki was good too. The broth is less flavorful than other places I have been, but much more milky. Personally, I am not a huge fan of the broth, so -1 star.
The restaurant is cash only and you can only order through kiosk. You cannot substitute any toppings, which sucks. You can only ask for a “no topping” and then pay additional for the topping you want. Small store means you will have to wait for a table during busy hours.
Personally, I wouldn’t return because I don’t think I will crave this specific ramen again. I would rather drive 20 more minutes to eat at Kizuki’s.”
“We ordered the Tree Stump Cake, which was chocolate and adorably decorated to look like a tree stump. So delicious, the meringue mushrooms were a work of art and incredibly tasty. Cake and frosting were moist and not too sweet. Even non vegans will love. What value for the price! Ordering process was online, pay by Venmo, and meet to pick up. Excellent communication, customer service. Thank you!”
“DELICIOUS! People need to start reviewing. I came here after 7 clients recommended them! So nice and friendly. Always willing to explain the flavors in such a cute place!”
“Min is the absolute G! His service and friendly demeanor is just a cherry on top of the already scrumptious spicy chicken. Their spice levels here really don’t mess around so start light and work your way up. The Mac and cheese loaded is phenomenal as well! I highly recommend this casual spot to anyone in the area. Decent pricing as well!”
“Really good steak bowls and avocado toast!
They have good smoothies but they are expensive (like $15) - the cool thing is if you sign up for rewards you get a reward every time you buy something!
Reward I’ve received - 50% off smoothie, free avacado toast, free tomato bagel, 50% off a latte…
Their coffee is pretty good too.
If you get the steak bowls I’d recommend asking for the lemon capers sauce on the side as an extra and also add some salt on the steak to bring out a bit more flavor, also careful with their salt grinder it’s automatic and really cool just don’t over salt!
Would recommend this place especially if you are looking for a clean meal. ( no seed oils etc..)
Also, their pesto sauce is dairy free FYI
Also, I think all their smoothies are dairy free because they’re made with coconut milk - just double check”
“Every time we visit Mendocino Farms, we’re reminded why we keep coming back! The customer service is truly exceptional. A huge thank you to Rudy, who remembered us from our previous visit and greeted us with such genuine kindness. It’s the little things like that that make you feel valued and welcomed. The salads are delicious!”
