“This was our first time dining in the restaurant. We had Rimini cater an event and that was fantastic, but this was another level of fun and community. The food was exceptional, the entertainment and bringing people together was so much fun. We are 30 plus year Kirkand residents and business owners and this was the most fun we’ve had downtown in a long time!”
“Love the dining experience and server. Our server is Kendra (if I'm spelling right). She is the best! So energetic and welcoming. Her introduction made me feel her passion about food and wine that she was serving. Will definitely come back.”
“My girls took me to Cafe Veloce for my birthday and it was amazing! Service was great and the food was superb. I had the Dungeons pasta, yummy!!! It was my first time dinning at Cafe Veloce and will not be my last. Highly recommended.”
“Been there twice and tried most of the vegetarian dishes, and LOVE all them! Great food, decor and service! Will go back with more friends! 😍”

“I have visited this restaurant with my friends on Friday evening. Nice hospitality and service, should give 5 start for it. Good vegetable options were available, we tried the Paneer Hariyali(grilled and not fried) and it was very tasty; also other vegetable food was great and tasty. I also tried their Goat Biryani and found to be ok compared to other restaurant, definitely suggest to improve on Biryani taste.”
“Thirsty Hop was a fun dinner. I appreciated the interesting mix of craft beer and sushi. The space inside was a combination of sushi restaurant and bar - super cool. Food overall was nice, and service was great.”
“Recently had a corporate holiday party there 10/10. Everyone had a blast and the staff was fantastic!”
“Anthony’s HomePort @ Kirkland made my Birthday Special. First was greeted by a wonderful staff at the check in area. Then when seated at a wonderful window view was handed a cute Birthday card. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful. But the cherry on top of the experience was the sunset view we had while dinning. Thank You Anthony’s for making my Birthday Special and unforgettable!”
“Wulixiang’s zongzi is soooo yummy! You cannot find anything this good in the entire Seattle are. I like the salted egg flavor. The wonton is super delicious as well”
“Excellent food. Great service. A bit on the expensive side but great for a girls night out!”
“Been to many Italian restaurants being Italian living in Australia and to being at Ristorante Paradiso in Kirkland Washington Seattle was the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. Service was outstanding and had the best white wine I have ever had in my life a memorable experience”
“This is my favorite Teriyaki joint. Run by lovely people, the food is excellent, dine in and takeout are always great experiences.
Vegetarian options: Tofu teriyaki is my favorite, as is the miso soup. Tofu is fried very well, good flavor and texture.”
“Their drinks n pastries are unique that you won’t find it anywhere else. Definitely worth the wait!!!”
“Very fun place! Food was yummy and great service! Our waiter was a taller young man and he was very attentive and friendly, but everyone there was great! It’s all you can eat, with a limit of 2 hours which I find reasonable for all you can eat, plus everything comes out super fast so barely any wait! Lots of side options as well and they’re all great (also included in all you can eat). Also note that meat you don’t eat will cost you an extra $25 but that keeps ppl from over ordering. Sides are fine tho they can be leftover. Music was popping!! Fun time for sure”
Takeout Restaurants
“I don’t usually eat Italian out because I feel I do a good job at home. This place is way better than I can do. The menu/ordering process is a little challenging to figure out but worth the challenge. We’ve been twice and both times excellent. The salads are great, house made mozzarella with these sweet tomatoes and a balsamic reduction - so good! Tonight I had the gluten free pasta with mushrooms and white truffle oil, fried tofu, homemade sausage and ghost pepper oil. It was so freaking good! The atmosphere is fun as well, open, vibrant colors and Italian pop music. Welcome addition to Totem Lake.”
“BiBi serves authentic, affordable, and delicious Persian food all while keeping it healthy and not compromising on quality. Highly recommend!”
“I grabbed 4 cabeza tacos and my crew got some other things. Everything was amazing and the price for 4 big guys was very reasonable. Horchata was the best I've had along with the tacos. Stop by for sure if you are in the area. Very nice staff as well.”
“My Margherita had beautiful leopard spots, fresh ingredients, and the service was top notch. I look forward to visiting again.”
“We celebrated my husband’s birthday with a lunch at KGF and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. While the space is a bit small, it has a cozy charm. We can’t wait to go back!”
“This is one of my favorite places to eat, and I have only great things to say about the staff and the food! I love coming here, because the guys are so friendly, quick and remember my order every time. The gyro salad is so good I could eat it everyday! 👌”
“Create your own stir fry. I've loved every sauce I tried, but the Spicy Mongolian is the best. Food is always fantastic, staff is great and will give you the exact amount of sauce you want, or put it on the side for you. They will let you go half and half on protein without additional charge. Tables are not waited. Easy to push some tables together for larger groups. They leave out halloween candy in October, and always have self serve fortune cookies year round. They technically have a weight limit for food bowls, but I heap noodles quite high and have never been charged more than the base rate. My go to for celebratory occasions.
Vegetarian options: Create your own stir fry, with an entire bar of vegetarian options. Tofu or egg available as proteins.
Dietary restrictions: Build your own, but grilled on a large surface that all other dishes are also grilled on. High potential for cross contamination
Parking: Usually a spot or two available to park right out front
Kid-friendliness: Kid bowls available at a cheaper price point, and they'll love building their own meal and getting fortune cookies at the self serve afterwards.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor with no elevation changes. Decently wide walkways that are likely accommodating. Seating easy to rearrange, with open ends to situate a wheel chair at. Doors are not automatic.”
“Awesome place and the food is delicious and filling. The Turkish coffee and baklava is mouth watering.”
“A wonderful little sushi restaurant in the Rose Hill area! Delicious food, a wonderful and friendly staff, and a comfortable atmosphere. Can't wait to come back!”
“I went to this place on 08/14 at 1:00 pm. I have to congratulate the Original Milk Tea drink that was served, it was excellent!!! And I can't forget to congratulate the employees who are very polite and excellent professionals!!!”
“Muy buenas pizzas 🍕 las recomiendo al 💯 por siento las mejores pizzas el us 🇺🇸 y de Seattle Washington muy muy buenas totalmente recomendadas”

“Good beer selection. Has good IPAs, low on bitterness, rich on flavor, somewhat hoppy, are refreshing in taste and have fruity/citrusy notes. Tried Plethora, Never Say Die, 99 Juicy and Blood Orange along with Helles Lager. Ambience is somewhat rustic and really relaxing with good music in the background. The location is within city limits too. Staff is very excellent, really hospitable, very friendly, takes time to explain, allows you to try different ones and clearly values you as a customer. Must try for so many reasons.”

“Look, quality-wise, you get what you expect. It's good pizza, and quality ingredients ir you'd have never gone there. Any negative reviews are from people who expect the staff to lick their boots because tipping went digital. I don't expect affirmation from the people who provide me quality sustenance, I just want them to appear satisfied with their job. I already KNOW the menu. I cook, and very WELL considering my family of 4 chefs and I'm the youngest kid. Eating out is not a social experiment. Tipping is GOOD. These kids in Kirkland have given me excellent pizza, and I've never detected the obvious impact that garbage customers have on the service industry in the process of instant gratification that IS quick, delicious food. That's FAST, but not "fast food". I have live right next door to Pagliacci in Kirkland. I'm a verrry efficient and experienced cook, and also KETO and carnivore as hell diet-wise, so I know them menu, ingredients and process.
It never fails me for a cheat meal, so that's in the corporate bag. My thing is n part accolade part confession (I hope my coach isn't reading this). The food us great. The cleanliness and presentation of the staff is always the sane, food handlers inspection would be proud af. I always get great customer service, to the point that I literally have to mentally justify cheat meals to go there, though I can spin a phenomenal dish in minutes. I'm posting because in this era, if nobody acknowledges people who put an effort in, than you kill a valuable part of motivation. Also I rarely feel confident in eating food at restaurants. These kids ate awesome, some of them have nice cars, but obviously earned via a work ethic, because they don't bow to Karens, but they do good honest hard work, and value their reputation. I live literally right next door to Pagliacci's and wk past every day, only getting a slice once a week at best, but I stop there mostly to tip and vote with my wallet, since I don't need the carbs. I will literally factor that in to my old man training routine. My confession is this: I discovered an abandoned small coffee table, leaving the pub, prior to entering the Pagliacci lot.
I don't need a coffee table, but when I passed the Pagliaccis little outdoor break area (bench), I thought: "maybe these badass ypung hard-working dudes would want a table next to this little bench".
I'm "confessing" this because if you don't need it, I'll come remove and trash it..
I'm posting this so that the "?" Of why this is here doesn't get less credit than it deserves. I rarely write reviews unless somebody totally sucks. This was important to me. Kirkland Washington Pagliacci''s needs to be recognized. I normally have better things to do than even hold "Rairdon's" I'm Kirland accountable for actually damaging my car after a hit in run on their lot. Local.
I just have to respect whatever you guys are doing, most of these kids seem happy, and drive nice cars, bravo. If you can't trust your stylist for the people who serve you food, YOU are the problem. I dread eating out (in restaurants), but I cheat on my diet at Pagliaccis, even though I make a MEAN pie, and it's because I'm sold on your overall methodology. I don't know why these kids want to work here, bit as a manager of people, I'd quickly hope anybody that's worked at your establishment for the last 7 years. Just on work ethics, professionality and end result. Great job everyone. I'd name names, bit I don't know them, and it's pretty much always consistent. For the record, my favorite pizza k oint isn't even Pagliaccis, and somehow I don't even go there because of my diet.
I go to Pagliaccis because I vote with my f'n WALLET.
Note: theycwere closed when I passed them tonight, and I thought "Oh yeah, I keep forgetting to give th”
“The drinks are delicious, the ladies are super nice. Can't go wrong here. I challenge them to get creative with "mystery Friday" and they never disappoint.”
“We enjoy visiting this location. Staff is always friendly and facilities are always clean. Mobile ordering is a breeze”
“For it being $0.62 taco day (happy anniversary🎉) I am shocked at the quality of my taco. I was served two quality tacos despite how busy (and how many tacos) the crew had to make. ”
“Usually young men and woman dipping their toes in employment.. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences coming to this papa Murphys. Pizza is always ready when it should be and has always been what I ordered and the employees and really nice and look like they are happy to be there. I highly recommend this papa murphs.. thanks to the stellar young people that work there. ?
Parking: Plenty of parking stalls at or around front of store
Kid-friendliness: My kids are grown but the employees are really nice and are almost.. almost kids themselves. Mid to late teens.. so I imagine they are kind to all.
Wheelchair accessibility: Disable parking with ramps to the sidewalk and right in the front door.”
“The Customer Service and My White Chocolate Mocha. 🤗”
“Stopped by here during this week's major power outage. They had a generator and were the only coffee shop nearby still running. Having a piping hot latte made dealing with the day much better!”
“I have been to several Starbucks and can honestly say this location is by far the best, the customer service is outstanding. They are very friendly, accommodating, and make the best drinks. Everyone that works at this location will ensure you enjoy your drink and are happy to make adjustments if needed (drinks have always been delicious, and adjustments were never needed, but they offer). I literally avoid the Starbucks across the street which has a convenient drive thru, and would rather walk into this location as it’s inside Safeway.”
“You didn’t have your name tag, but you have short dark hair, green eyes, tattoos and aviator glasses. U were so nice to my daughter, and patient. Thank you so much!
You also seemed like such a team player helping everyone out with a smile and moving with ease. Someone give this woman a raise!!!”
“After searching all the Starbucks in the northern half of the Eastside, this has become my go-to place to spend a few hours on my laptop. Roomy, fireplace, warm atmosphere, and electrical outlets under all the benches lining the walls, even the big table by the fireplace.Other pros:-Staff is always friendly and although sometimes understaffed (who isn't nowadays?) it has never been a problem.-No drive-through! Starbucks corporation relented to the profit-gods some time ago and every new store has a drive through now; frantic head-set-wearing staff lessen a relaxed coffee-house experience.-Never had a problem getting a drink remade if I thought there was something iffy (even me whining 'it tastes weak for some reason' lol)Cons: (about this store in particular)-The temps are always a challenge here: too icy AC in the summer and in the winter a cold-draft down your back at the window benches Also, for laptop uses, you are usually sitting with your laptop facing the window behind you so reflections are a problem during daylight hours.-On Weds the local schools let out early so it can be a noisy crowd of kids in the early afternoon. Avoid if you want a quieter coffee-house experience.-Parking can be tight but lots of room right next door if you can handle walking 50'. If you are not elderly or handicapped and this is your biggest complaint then I think you are doing pretty well!Overall my favorite place in the Eastside of Totem Lake area!”
“One of the only places that have white chocolate powder 😍”
“This former Burger King has been transformed into a spacious and inviting Starbucks, the newest on the Eastside. The staff is comprised of the same great & friendly people who worked at the tiny storefront Starbucks (with no drive-up window) in Totem Lake West that I used to frequent.”
“Our favorite coffee and one of the frequent one we visit!
the drive through can be busy but there are always folks who come to your car to pick up your order!
Love the coffee!, friendly staff. Now, they have a boat on display!
always take Mocha or Cappuccino!”
“Delicious and fresh food. Great wait staff too. Highly recommend it!”
“Friendly staff they are welcoming and approachable. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. Wine selections are amazing.”

“Dani and the staff are so accommodating and welcoming with their events. I've hosted and attended things there and love it.”
“They’re always so friendly and welcoming! They always greet you with big smile and even if they’re busy they recognize you and make sure that they are aware of you.
One thing that I noticed was they’re drinks are sweeter side even with zero sugar but negative sweetness and less topping is option for those who prefer not too sweet dessert:)
They also let me modify my drink for my liking and always double check if sugar level, ice level and topping is correct.
Their drinks are unique and different from ordinary boba places so if you like juice/smoothie or Starbucks kind of refreshers you will like their drink. I don’t like traditional boba or milk tea so this place is my go to boba place!
I love their ice too! So crunchy ?”
“Best local coffee and employees. Really good pricing 5 stars
Parking: Lots of different free parking within 2 mins walk of the coffee shop
Kid-friendliness: Lots of families”
“Portions were pretty good for an average of $15. Once upon a time, teriyaki was provided in this volume for $7-$9, but at least this place didn't go with both shrink-flatiron AND inflation. They increased prices as expected, but respected reasonable portions. So many places have given in and cut both corners now.
We were happy with our meals. Chicken was flavorful and not dry or undercooked. We did ask for our meals to be well done, but we do that at all teriyaki places. They break the mold by providing cucumber salad instead of standard iceberg lettuce and dressing. I found the cucumber salad to have a bit too much vinegar for me, but my husband happy with it. I still enjoyed it as it cut the sweetness of the teriyaki sauce, which also happily wants not overly sweet.
Additional plus is they actually provide undiluted sriracha sauce. I have come across at least 3 teriyaki establishments that dilute their hot sauces with teriyaki sauce now.
To note, this place isn't necessarily a fast eat. As a to go order, it took a little over 20 min to receive or order an early Saturday evening.
Parking is limited in front, but if you don't mind parking a bit further behind the complex and a five minute walk, then there's no problem.
Space is very clean and looks like it may have been recently renovated or at least repainted. My husband said the restroom was clean.
Highly recommend.”
“Good for Birthday Parties good bands good seating good food and drinks and service”
“Café Zoka in Kirkland is a must-visit for coffee lovers. Whether you're into rich, smooth espressos or perfectly brewed pour-overs, there’s something on the menu for you… This visit, I had a delicious cardamom latte and an almond croissant. ? ☕️
In addition to coffee and pastries, they have fun extras like Pike Street Press (letter-pressed) cards, vinyl stickers, and other small gifts for the impulse buyer. ?
They also sell a selection of whole bean coffee so you can bring your favorite blend home with you.
I love the big windows, high ceilings, spacious interior, and plant wall… The cozy vibe and friendly staff make it the perfect spot to grab a drink, work, or just relax.
(Note: parking anywhere in downtown Kirkland can be a challenge…)”
“First timer of this restaurant... This is definitely Authentic Home Made Chinese Food , made by Real Chinese People! Yummy! 5*****”
“Yummmmmmm!... excellent service .. definitely a must!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Very generous servings and friendly people. The food was fresh and well prepared. We hope to go back to try some other dishes.”
“The best Vietnamese food ever. It is so authentic. You have to check this place out.”
“The Lamb Schwarma plate is a feast for the eyes and the taste buds, with a portion to generously have leftovers later! The soup that comes with their plates is comforting without being heavy, and I could eat it every day. Also, if you love garlic, their MK fries are a must buy - my friend & I shared a half order, and came nowhere close to finishing them!”
“This place is amazing ! Super nice workers, great food, if you’re looking for a great Asian food dinner come here! Get the pork bao, and beef bulgogi. I promise you will be shocked.”

“Macarons are a favorite food of mine. I’ve tried many macarons from many places. Those other macarons do not hold a candle to Lady Yum’s. Their macarons are actually on my top 10 list of favorite foods of all time. They make my soul happy. My husband picks me up some every time he travels to Seattle and although I miss him when he travels…I’m also kinda happy when he goes because he gets me treats from there.”
“Excellent food. Great service. A bit on the expensive side but great for a girls night out!”

“My first time there and I'm ready to go back for more! The people were friendly, kitchen was immaculate, and everything is made from scratch. We tried the Kofta, and Shawarma wraps, falafel, Greek fries, and a dessert and liked it all. (But just a hint - don't order your fries first because it's hard to stop eating them they are so crispy and tasty!). We will definitely go back and recommend it to others!!”

“"Arth" isn't just a restaurant; it's a culinary sanctuary where flavors come alive, service is impeccable, and every moment is cherished. Celebrating our 11th anniversary there, with 20+ friends & family members, was an unforgettable experience. From the first taste to the last, each dish was a masterpiece blending tradition with innovation. The presentation was as exquisite as the taste, making every plate a work of art. The ambiance at Arth was equally enchanting. Soft lights, murmurs of conversation, and tasteful decor created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The attentive and knowledgeable staff ensured our celebration was seamless, guiding us through the menu with expertise. Hands down the best Indian restaurant in the area, our evening at Arth was nothing short of magical, a perfect blend of culinary delight, impeccable service, and cozy ambiance.”

“The first time I went to olive garden was with my mom and my grandma. The wait wasn't too long even though the restaurant was full. We got seated and our server was super nice. Not only that but the food was delicious. You can repeat soup and salad and even take bowls of these ones home. The amount of kindness that this place has is super heartwarming. Honestly, one of the best restaurants I have ever laid a foot on. Every once in a while I go with my family or my friends, which by the way two weeks ago I went there after homecoming. Even though they were about to close, they were still super nice and the food was just as great. One of my friends left a big tip that night. Recommend 100%”
