New American Restaurants near Kirkland, WA

“My wife and I have come here for the drinks and occasionally truffle pommes frites or some oysters, but this time we tried some of the other menu items for dinner. My wife got the Halibut (Chapter 6) and I got the Mushroom Pasta dish. (Chapter 5)

I asked Casey if he recommended the mushroom dish and he said it was one of his favorites. I'm not a foodie, so I don't get overly excited over food but let me tell you... It was so good that it prompted me to write a review about it. I actually felt an endorphin rush from eating it! My wife loved the halibut, (which I also tried) and I would say getting her to eat fish is usually a challenge unless her fisherman father prepares it!

I would recommend a Manhattan or Old Fashioned, which Casey also pointed me towards some new Rye to try. Fantastic as always!

I had placed an order for oysters but apparently they were forgotten, but I was so enamored with the mushroom dish that I didn't even care. Casey offered them to me on the house as he felt bad, which was a very nice gesture. I wasn't upset at all!

Now we would like to try all the other dishes, because if both meals were that good, how can they miss with anything else?

“How about this for a review - OH What good luck, I just ate the most magnificent duck. At Sparrows I darn near made a glutton and fool of myself. Roasted duck with a cherry port wine sauce. My, my, my a beautiful cherry surprise. A leg, thigh and breast accompanied with an Argintine red wine. Lord all mighty is in the most rewarding places. “We celebrated our anniversary at 2120 and it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Seattle. The cocktails alone are worth the visit. The Old Fashioned was phenomenal, but the true standout was the Tequila Pho cocktail. I’ve never had anything like it—it genuinely tasted like you were drinking a bowl of fresh pho in the best possible way. It may honestly be our new favorite cocktail ever. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The oysters were, without question, the best we’ve ever had, and we’ve tried oysters all over the country. The smoked salmon crudo was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. My oxtail pappardelle was rich, flavorful, and perfectly executed, while my wife absolutely loved the Thai coconut curry with scallops. To finish the evening, 2120 surprised us with an amazing anniversary dessert featuring warm donuts, fresh chocolate cream, and caramel sauce, along with a celebratory glass of champagne. It was a thoughtful touch that made an already memorable evening even more special. A huge thank you to our server, James, who made the entire experience exceptional with his outstanding service, attention to detail, and warm personality. “Some Random Bar is a great neighborhood spot in Belltown, right around the corner of 1st Avenue and Vine Street. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, making it a good place to stop for drinks and food without feeling overly formal. The menu goes beyond basic bar food, with a good variety of dishes and cocktails.

The location is especially convenient if you’re walking around Belltown, and there are plenty of other restaurants and businesses nearby. It has the kind of neighborhood atmosphere that fits this part of Seattle well. A nice option for a relaxed evening with friends or a casual meal.“

“We visited Radiator Whiskey for happy hour! The catfish nuggets were a bit fishy though that might just be how catfish tastes since it was our first time trying it. The sauce was great, though! “Disappointed in dinner yesterday. Took my mom out to eat, had the lamb kofta and chicken. Both were not good. The kofta was cool in the middle and the chicken was tough & dry. It had a huge chicken breast on the sandwich and was deliciously seasoned. The onion rings were crispy and not overly greasy. Would absolutely go back.“

“I was walking in the area looking for a restaurant to get an early dinner when I saw republic. I don't drink so was hesitant but when I entered I was surprised to see such an inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly, efficient, professional, friendly, and accommodating. The menu was eclectic with unique offerings. I chose the grilled asparagus which was amazingly good , and the beef tips which were tender and delicious. My friend had a cheeseburger which he said was wonderful, and cooked to perfection. It was served with a generous portion of the best fries I have eaten in years. I highly recommend this place!!!“

“Frank's is my favorite place in town to get oysters on the half-shell. The vibe is warm, relaxed, and welcoming. The bread with ash butter and sea salt is a favorite. The oysters are fresh, plump, and succulent. The champagne mignonette is flavorful and delicate so as not to outdo the oysters. We tried a seasonal dessert: nectarine, rose, and pistachio pavlova. Everything is delicious. Finally, the service is impeccable. We always feel special when we are here and we can't wait to visit again soon!“

“I come here every single week. I tell my friends that if I’m not eating the cheeseburger from this place, I’m thinking about it. And lord have mercy the fries are good. Their fries are consistently in my top 3 list of fries, and the other two spots aren’t consistent at all. I love the cozy vibe and the friendly staff as well.“

“I had some time to kill in Seattle before catching a ferry. Walked by and saw on the outside posted menu they had wings. I love wings and so I got wings. The half order for $10 hit the spot. The beers were cold and the bartender girl was great and chatty.

This added such a nice touch and made the experience even smoother for my team.
