“This place is amazing. The ambiance is dark and sexy, the staff is beyond welcoming, and the execution of the dishes is consistently on point. The menu is fun and hits from eclectic to classic. My wife and I have been here twice, and both times they slipped us a thank you dish. Normally we like to try different places, but 2120 is a place we’ll go back to again and again. Cocktails are inventive and complex. I have one gripe, I’d love to see this place expand to an international wine list, cause if they do this well at what they already do, their international wine choices would prob be exceptional. Owen Kotler Selections would be a great fit here. Shout out to Jason the Gm and our server was Will (I believe, sorry homie, strong cocktails blur my memory). The desserts man. It’s like everyone here really loves what they’re doing, and intense scrutiny goes into each dish the comes out of that kitchen. Top restaurant in Seattle for sure. More affordable than most too. Much love guys, well done!“

“Sometimes a place hits just right. If you’re lucky you can get a table by the window for that epic 1st and Pike people watching. Get some braised brisket and appreciate. I liked the space with the exposed wood ceiling and old school windows. Service was timely and friendly. I look forward to coming back to try the baked fontina cheese dip appetizer or the fried bread pudding.“

The cornmeal pancake is a must for the table and a notable favorite from my last visit was the Avocado Toastie with cured egg yolk. Delectable. “I was walking in the area looking for a restaurant to get an early dinner when I saw republic. I don't drink so was hesitant but when I entered I was surprised to see such an inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly, efficient, professional, friendly, and accommodating. The menu was eclectic with unique offerings. I chose the grilled asparagus which was amazingly good , and the beef tips which were tender and delicious. My friend had a cheeseburger which he said was wonderful, and cooked to perfection. It was served with a generous portion of the best fries I have eaten in years. I highly recommend this place!!!“

“Zig Zag Cafe is a Seattle institution. Live jazz, an incredible location that's both hidden but right on the waterfront, great food/drink, and a fun vibe? Hard to go wrong. I appreciated the variety of food and drink available and pretty much everything we received was good to delicious. Would come back for sure!“

“Disappointed in dinner yesterday. Took my mom out to eat, had the lamb kofta and chicken. Both were not good. The kofta was cool in the middle and the chicken was tough & dry. The lettuce was brown, black, and wilted throughout. I think they were rushing to switch from lunch to dinner and just threw anything together. Completely terrible experience.“

“Loved Canon — such a great bourbon/whiskey bar. Found it on TikTok and it definitely lived up to the hype! Our bartender was super friendly, and my boyfriend was in heaven talking bourbon the whole time. Highly recommend if you’re into whiskey or just want a cool spot with a great atmosphere.“

“Great selection of beers on tap. We prefer the German wheat beers, and they did not disappoint. Ordered hamburgers the first visit. Very good. Large burger with a good selection of toppings. Our second visit we ordered the chicken nachos. Was a little skeptical of the pinto bean topping, but the nachos were also very good. The French fries, particularly the truffle fries are also good. Second visit, the initial bartender was surly, but chalked this up to a long day. Shift changed, and the service bounced back, so generally very friendly. I'd go back.“

“I come here every single week. I tell my friends that if I’m not eating the cheeseburger from this place, I’m thinking about it. And lord have mercy the fries are good. Their fries are consistently in my top 3 list of fries, and the other two spots aren’t consistent at all. I love the cozy vibe and the friendly staff as well.“

“One of the coolest bars I've visited! The history of music and the local vibe in unbeatable, make sure and stop and get a drink, and tip your bartenders! Zoey (sp) was great, was there during a fifa match and the service was still on point!“

“Greeter was rude. Like it was a trouble for him to get up from folding napkins to seat me at a table instead of going to the bar like he suggested. Actual server was nice. Food was good but overpriced($32 for a chicken burger and fries, no drink) and the 20% automatic tipping is a huge turnoff. This tipping culture is too much, tipping should be optional. Atmosphere of cars is cool.“

My wife got the steak sandwich which was great as well. She preferred the steak sandwich though. I liked the chicken better. Parking was right outside as being a thrusday evening it was not super busy.“

“My wife and I went for the fixed menu with wine pairing. We have never felt so welcomed in a restaurant. The greeting and the farewell were both very nicely done. Stunningly delicious, original and creative food. The vibe was excellent. Lots of very nice touches. A truly superb experience. I'm deliberately not saying too much nor adding too many photos, because I don't want to be a spoiler.“

“Nick's was a delightful stop on my Madison walkabout. Service at the bar was attentive and helpful, and my shrimp cocktail tangy and fresh. Drinks were solid as well. The bar seats could maybe use a refresh though. Vibes inside were definitely neighborhood focussed - felt like Nick's is a local favorite.“

The live music felt like our own private concert, the food was delicious, and the cocktails were so good we kept finding excuses to order another. The whole place is gorgeous and full of great energy. The service was perfect. My husband and I left smiling and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend.“
