“We ended up at The Point because the place down the street could not accommodate our group. We made the brunch hours by 20 mins. We were surprise how food looks more restaurant quality than Pub foods. I got waffle with strawberry but it was not fresh strawberry or it was purée strawberry sauce. My group enjoyed their foods and drinks, sorry no pictures. You ordered at the bar and they bring you your foods. There is water station. The bartenders were friendly. We even played board games after our meals.“

“We had a date night here and were absolutely impressed. The Beecher’s grilled cheese and butternut squash soup was a stand out. Both of our pasta entrees were phenomenal as well. The star of the show, though, was our dessert, which was a deconstructed PB&J. I don’t think I’ve ever had something that had such a wide variety of complementary textures. It was amazing and flavorful.“

“My car enthusiast teenage son and I were here last weekend and he is back again this weekend with his girlfriend and a bunch of their friends he absolutely loved this place. The food was good for American diner fare. Our server absolutely left something to be desired though. I don't know if the attitude was to go with the aesthetic of the location but she would literally drop stuff off at the table and not say a word. I had to flag her down and she seemed very disinterested as though she didn't want to be there. That was the only draw back to the day. The tour was absolutely wonderful and the tour guide was very engaging and very knowledgeable. Currently working on talking my boyfriend into a membership so he can park some of his cars in there!!!“

“As a Lacto-Ovo-Pesce-tarian, i was still able to find good options that were decent and enjoyable for a sports bar. The vibe is wood and metal and plenty of sports and screens, AND they play Sounders and other soccer games, which is what brought me there. The seats aren't the most comfortable, but neither is my 55 year old body! Good local beers to choose from. The Mexican Corn and Cheese dip was very good and came in a cast iron skillet. Blackened Salmon Sammy was good too.“

“This place is awesome! I came for Friday lunch around 12 and The place had a good bustle to it, but was also a bit calm, great for chill conversations. I was curious as to why this was Australian brunch and the interior definitely had the Australian vibes with the white brick interior and rustic modern finish. As for the food, it's also Mediterranean inspired with some Asian elements. For example, they had like Thai crabcakes and Mediterranean cheeses. The food came out pretty fast and had good portion sizes, because we wanted to do family style, the waiter gave us 3 serving planes and they also were gracious in their service to give us three new serving plates as we were finishing up with the ricotta pancakes for dessert (very attentive). I also asked about if this place was dog friendly - they allow service dogs and there is seating outside for non service dogs“

“BUFFALO MILK is all I’m going to say lol! No, just kidding but you must try the stuff. My girls went back the next day to get another round after I left town! We ordered these three meals and shared them all so we could try as much as possible. The lemon curd and blueberry French toast was not tart and bitter like some of the lemon French toast I’ve had. It was not too thick or hard to cut through. It was perfectly custard and the whipped cream was nice and thick too. The frittata from pics online looked like it might be dry but IT WAS NOT! That mushroom frittata was maybe my favorite thing of all. But that sour cream pancake my gf pretty much adored just as well. They were fluffy but dense if that’s possible and very buttery and delightful. We are already planning our return because I need that buffalo milk coffee in my life.“

913 Spirits Wine Bar • $$
913 SW 152nd St, Seattle - 5.46 miles

“If you are in the mood for elegant, vintage drinks with a whimsical (truly whimsical) twist - look no further - thus is your stop, for a sip - or two, or... We had the Chai Old Fashioned and the Last Word... If the devil is in the details - so are the companions of Bacchus - the REAL maraschino cherry in the Last Word and the massive ice cube in the Old Fashioned confirm how serious thus place is about its drinks reputation. Also, the Cherry and Apricot Salad gave us that so very needed connection with the local farmers' produce, it being a delightfully crispy concoction of bitter radicchio and peppery greens, smoothed by a pungent goat cheese and vanilla balsamic vinaigrette. The bread and the sharp olive oil were especially appreciated with the salad. We love gelato, but ordered the blackberry sorbet and did not regret it since it came with a solid chunk of anise biscotti - an excellent pairing for the double espresso. Our waiter, Troy, made us feel well attended, but not even once did he overdo it.“

“I have seen this place advertised a few times across some of the social media sites. So we finally decided to give them a try. It was great. Really good space and a bit of a remembrance to the original space. A tin forming metal shop back in the 1930s and now a sharp little bar with attached theatre space. They make a dang good cocktail. Located in old Burein, they are worth a visit.“

“Almost made a southern boy cry. Literally some of the best BBQ since I moved West. Melt in your mouth pork shoulder, brisket and ribs. Tell granpappy he can leave his teeth out. Couple that with great sides like the cooked greens with red onions, potato salad and slow-cooked blackeyed peas. Paired all this with a Kentucky mule with a spicy ginger kick. Perfection.“

“Rob and co-worker were fun, the food was good, and the whole food truck experience was perfecto! Rob was detailed and specific about my order (we made changes) and it came out exactly as I requested. I very much appreciate that! The food was served in well thought out containers and the quality bags made sure we were able to move around without making a mess. In fact, it was the cleanest experience with a food truck we've had (from being handed the food to getting it home and opening everything). Rob estimated wait times when we ordered and was accurate. Since we were in the rain it was very helpful. It isn't cheap, nor outrageously expensive. I have not one thing to warn you about because I absolutely recommend it based on my experience!“

“The atmosphere when you first walk in gives off very hip and modern vibes. There's minimal decor and low lighting, which is in total contrast to their maximalist website, which is just kind of funny. We started off with cocktails--Tokyo Drifter and Chikorita and the latter was delicious and so unique! Tequila + matcha + coconut is the combination I didn't know I needed in a drink. We both got the set menu (you have to have full table participation anyways..), and both opted for the Dungeness crab rice add-on. The first bite was delicious! A lightly fried (I think) daikon radish with small toppings. This was followed by the chawanmushi with shiitake and stinging nettle, which was a table favorite. Honestly, all of the courses were pretty good, some better than others, but nothing really blew me away. I knew I'd have to write this review the next morning because if I waited much longer I'd probably forget each dish. One thing that clearly stood out, however, was the amount of time between courses. While I wasn't in a hurry to leave, there was a bit of a noticeable lull between courses, especially when we observed tables next to us (who arrived later) getting the same set menu and a bit of a faster pace. It's definitely a relaxed pace and gives you plenty of time to eat and savor the plate! Service was friendly and they explained every dish, but honestly not the most attentive. Would really only come over when the next course was ready, and we had to ask for more water which I certainly don't mind doing, but feel that it would be a non-thing at a restaurant like this. The meal itself was lovely, the ambiance is nice and the bathrooms reminded me of Japanese bathrooms. But for the overall price tag (plus 22% service charge), I'm definitely not going to be back.“

“Is this place expensive? Yes. Does it have good bagels? Yes. Are the bagel dressing options particularly exciting? No. The lox is salty and bitter (i.e., briny). The menu is difficult to follow and the venue is infested with flies. Other than that, the service is wonderful! Gonna give this place some time to find its grounding before I return, though.“
