Came here randomly on a Sunday and ended up loving the small-town vibe of the place. There were lots of locals, good sports games on their TVs, and good beer and food options. The place is huge and has a few floors, but it feels like a legit sports bar. I am absolutely flabbergasted. They have the best waffle fries I’ve ever had- and the portion is HUGE.If you’re going to The Westy, prepare to share. I went with a friend and we ordered way too much food on accident- all of it delicious, but larger than life portions.Even during game days when this place is packed full, the service is off the charts. As a Lacto-Ovo-Pesce-tarian, i was still able to find good options that were decent and enjoyable for a sports bar. The vibe is wood and metal and plenty of sports and screens, AND they play Sounders and other soccer games, which is what brought me there. The seats aren't the most comfortable, but neither is my 55 year old body! Good local beers to choose from. The Mexican Corn and Cheese dip was very good and came in a cast iron skillet. Blackened Salmon Sammy was good too.
