“We Love Ruby Brink! Burger night—say no more…! The beef dip sandwich on the lunch menu is another favorite. We love eating here for so many reasons though. This isn’t a “high staff turnover” type restaurant where you’ll be greeted by stressed out workers plastered with fake smiles fighting over tables like you might be used you. This is a grown-up establishment with grown-up food and grown-up and experienced, competent and empowered staff and I appreciate how this dynamic expressed itself in terms of guest experience. When I say that the food is grown-up I mean that it is carefully selected and prepared from scratch and this means it does not taste like what other restaurants are doing, which often is buying bags of frozen soup and sauces from the chef supply store to keep costs down and to keep everything tasting exactly the same, every time. You will taste different things here and that might surprise you. Ready yourself for that and enjoy!“

“Everything I’ve had here is so good! Feature items are always thoughtful and delicious. A regular menu go to is the twice baked potato, which is always so good. This weekend she featured a crab roll, which is one of the best I’ve ever had service is friendly and personal, and the environment is very cozy and welcoming.“

“This used to be a regular watering hole for me when I lived in West Seattle years ago. I stopped in recently and though the staff is different, the vibes are still the same. Great place to have pints with friends, play some bar games, or play a board game. Great selection of beer, they'll generally have something to suit your tastes. There is no wait staff, you order at the bar. They have a good system to let you order while in line to keep things moving. They only serve snacks, but you can bring your own food from other restaurants, several options within a short walk.

The only negative is that post COVID, they've converted their parking lot to outdoor seating so parking may be a challenge depending on the time of day.“

My first time here and I was craving Chinese food - I Ordered takeout which was promptly delivered hot in compostable and biodegradable takeout containers. No chopsticks or napkins offered. I ordered the egg rolls and prawn dumplings. I thought my appetizers lacked flavor; I couldn’t taste any prawns or the pork. I was so sad, but I would go back and try something else one more time….“

We also ordered the fried pickle jar and highly recommend that appetizer! We saved our leftovers for the next day and it went just as hard! Amazing hospitality from this establishment and the vibe was so country it felt like we were back home in Texas! “This is one of the best places I have eaten period. I have never had 5 star cooking from a fancy chef like Bobby Flay or iron Chef Cat Cora. “I didn't have any of the cider, so my review doesn't include that (including my 'price per person').
It's a fun place, and is kid friendly. It's somewhat 'group seating', as there are a number of long tables with chairs. It's not the easiest place to find (go through the Inn's parking lot)

There are lots of pinball and video games, and they take quarters, so you won't leave with a bunch of tokens in your pocket.
The pizza isn't bad, but I wouldn't go there just for it. We stayed for some of the trivia, which was fun and got everyone there talking to each other, as you swap answer sheets to do the scoring.

The star of the show, though, was our dessert, which was a deconstructed PB&J. I don’t think I’ve ever had something that had such a wide variety of complementary textures. It was amazing and flavorful.“
