Dropped by in the 4th. The catfish was the best I've ever had. Rice and beans were rockin'! The gator kickers with spicy ranch were spectacular. Never had those before. The bartender, Kat, took great care of us and had us laughing the whole time.
The food was delicious! Tried the seafood platter, and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend Creole Soul, great atmosphere with super friendly service. I’ll be back!
I lived in NOLA for a couple of decades & this spot is as authentic as you will find! Amazing fried seafood, and I’ll be back to try the etouffee! What might be most on the nose is the attitude- laid back & friendly, just like my favorite neighborhood spots in the Crescent City.
