“My gf and I stopped in for pizza while touring Vashon, and she said it’s the best pizza she’d ever had. They heated our single slices up without asking and it made all the difference, great service, amazing pizza, relaxing atmosphere. Pizza was hot and fresh. The warm summer breeze rolled in and it felt like a movie. Perfect spot to stop for a slice !!!!!”

“We Love Ruby Brink! Burger night—say no more…! The beef dip sandwich on the lunch menu is another favorite. We love eating here for so many reasons though. This isn’t a “high staff turnover” type restaurant where you’ll be greeted by stressed out workers plastered with fake smiles fighting over tables like you might be used you. This is a grown-up establishment with grown-up food and grown-up and experienced, competent and empowered staff and I appreciate how this dynamic expressed itself in terms of guest experience. When I say that the food is grown-up I mean that it is carefully selected and prepared from scratch and this means it does not taste like what other restaurants are doing, which often is buying bags of frozen soup and sauces from the chef supply store to keep costs down and to keep everything tasting exactly the same, every time. You will taste different things here and that might surprise you. Ready yourself for that and enjoy!”

“Delicious wine. Friendly staff. Great ambiance and outdoor seating area surrounded by trees and flowers. The family that owns the winery is very friendly and chatted with. Great place to hang out in Vashon!”

“Reviewing only the pastries and counter coffee service. Holy smokes. Stop the bus. Best pastries I've had in Forever. (And I work at a place that sells pastries) prices are incredibly reasonable and the quality of the ingredients and presentation is off the hook. New best place ever to meet friends in the morning for a quiet conversation. If the weather is nice that back patio is incredible.”

“Andrew Will makes some of the finest wines around. The winery iteself is beautifully tucked away in central Vashon. If you're coming for a visit, I'd suggest planning to do so in the late Spring or early Summer when the weather is more ideal. The owners are extremely nice and they are wonderful members of our community on Vashon. You can find their wines @ Thriftway!”

“I discovered this place today. It is, hands down, some of theeee best food I have eaten in Washington state. It is a spectacular blend of flavors and seasonings with 5 star presentation. My 4 year old obliterated the duck 🦆 sammich!”

-Lots of seating, including a light-filled front room, a nice and shady backroom, and a patio.
-Nice bathroom
-Good tasting coffee (had drip and a cortado)
-$.92 refills on 12-16 ounce drip coffee.

Less Positive:
-Lots of flies, including inside the pastry case.
-Awkward layout in the front room leads to constant traffic jams in the narrow spaces on either side of the coffee bar. The precariousness of these narrow spaces is exacerbated by walls of glass (wine bottles on one side, glassware on the other).
-Only one bathroom can cause long waits.”

“Came across Pollard while Googling local, small coffee roasters, and I'm so happy I did! Definitely one of our favorite coffees, been getting Pollard for a while now and it has never disappointed 😄 We always get compliments back when we gift Pollard coffee and their customer service is awesome! Have fun with the custom blend option, it's a nice feature, especially when giving as a gift ☕”

“I ended up having to kill a couple of hours before going down to the Vashon performing art center to see the concert.

Sat at the bar midday the Friday starting the Labor Day weekend. Seemed like the calm before the storm.
