“Beautiful, iconic Tides Tavern is a legend in Gig Harbor. It sits right on the water with boat access and is, as it has always been, a kid-free zone. If great service, great views, and decent but overpriced food are your jam, this place is for you!”
“Morso is a hidden gem in Gig Harbor. This upscale wine bar on the water is the perfect spot for a date night or girls night. The menu is hand crafted with local ingredients and the service is top notch! My mushroom chicken pasta was delectable and I think I would eat the baked goat cheese appetizer every day of my life. I highly recommend stopping in here!”
“The atmosphere in this restaurant was exceptionally traditional. I add eggplant parmesan, and my wife the vegetable minestrone soup. Our waiter was absolutely fantastic. All in all a great dining experience.”
“Awesome pizza! We are from out of town so this was our first time here and the food was great and so was the service!Dietary restrictions: They have a good gluten free crust in the 14 inch.”
“Sunday Brunch, delicious Fried Oyster Po' Boy sandwich for me, satisfying crab cake breakfast bowl for my wife. Beautiful views of Gig Harbor from our booth. Fast seating at Noon time is always delightful.”
“Best dining experience I've found in Gig Harbor hands down. The wild boar Osso Buco was good, but the chef crushed the braised shortrib. I'll definitely be ordering that next time. The Cambozola appetizer was subtle, sophisticated, and bright in just the right starter portion. The ambiance is fine. The designer had a soft spot for hexagons and textural elements, but the windows looking out on the harbor are just too small and too high for being so close to the water.”
“Great Thia restaurant cooking up the real deal. We had the drunken noodles and red curry. Both were perfectly cooked with great flavor and spice. Small dinning area has view of the harbor with professional wait staff to serve you.”
“I've been eating here for the past few years & the food is always amazing! Great food, fast service, great scenery, & reasonable prices, doesn't get better than this in Gig Harbor.”
“If you can get there , one of the few places that you can find real value. Not pared down prices and / or pared down servings. We always take advantage if hungry !”
“I was surprised by the portion sizes and the piece sizes, much bigger than most moderately priced sushi places, and the fish is well sourced. I am pretty certain it's Japan-sourced tuna. The service was excellent. Had a great server, and Kyle did an outstanding job above and beyond to cater to the kiddo. The atmosphere felt like a blend of older Japanese cultural styles with a modern and Westernized take.Price wise it wasn't too bad for 3 people came out to around $100 w/ tip. It can cost that much at Genki Sushi with just 2 people. I got the dragon roll & Nigiri plate (awesome deal), and the rest of the fam had a bento, call roll, cucumber salad a few other things.Overall I think it's priced appropriately, has good sushi for around here, and is a pleasant place.”
“Food was amazing. Ribs, pork and spicy sausage with pickle pile, greens and potato salad were amazing. Frito pie as a starter was very good. Their twist on traditional flavors is always inventive and super tasty!”
“We had the California burritos here, and wow, they are massive. The staff was really friendly and we will definitely be coming here again!Parking: You may have to park further away and walk in”
“Food is always tasty. I went for the wonderful entertainment styles of an Irishman and a Scottsman. Had a fun timeWheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking and a ramp to the door. No auto open on the door”
“The sushi here is always amazing- " like butter", it melts in your mouth. Wonderful tastes, which are well presented and friendly and attentive service. Thank you for your wonderful food and service! We will be back soon.”
“The staff there was very friendly and you could tell they had some new hires. I was a little frustrated because I put my order in online for pickup time at 5:15 and when I arrived I was told another 30 minutes. I understand it was Friday and they were very busy but more communication would have been nice.”
“The food and the service was amazing!! My wife is gluten sensitive and they were very accommodating. Several desserts to choose from (even for my gluten sensitive wife). Prices were very reasonable as well. The ambiance was great, with plenty of views of the water. The only downside was the noise level, however we were there on a Friday night and it was extremely busy which I'm sure was part of reason. Will definitely be coming back to this gem!”
“This is our go to at least once a week. We love the teriyaki chicken combos, gyoza, Szechuan beef, and friend rice. The kimchi is the absolute best. We usually call and our order is ready within 30 mins to pick up which allows just enough time to peak into one of the surrounding stores. Thank you Mr. Steve!”
“Driving through and Lele was close to the highway and looked good. It's a great blend of Thai and Vietnamese, nicely decorated, the food is delicious and the portions are huge. We'll be back!”
“Between the time we sat down and got ask for drinks was a more than usual and taking our orders for food. Food was good as usual and the cook was entertaining and skillful. Will be coming again oh and gotta Mac and jacks and shock top filled. Both where empty”
“Arrived Friday morning for our 11:30am reservation and were seated soon after our arrival. Interior is clean and we were seated near the gas fireplace which was nice on a cold rainy day in March. Service was friendly and our server did a very good job anticipating our needs before asking such as refills on my Coke Zero – yes, they serve Coke Zero here!Wild Seafood Sampler served with three different sauces was good but quite pricey and in retrospect, we would have both been just as satisfied if we had just placed one order for the Wild Hand-cut Calamari and split it.The Wild Seafood Linguine Alfredo was served hot and was very rich and quite tasty; however, I was quite surprised to find it topped with wilted basil leaves that were obviously not fresh. The Wild Alaskan Halibut with mushroom risotto was also tasty; however, again we should have just ordered one of these Lunch Entrees and would have been quite satisfied. With tip, our $151 lunch for two with just one beer and a coke zero was quite pricey but both the service and food were very good. If we feel like having a very nice but spendy lunch, we will return.”
