I contacted Susann's Bakery for the food for an annual tea party. Ellie responded quickly and was so helpful, offering me lots of tasty options. I ended up selecting three types of sandwiches, chocolate croissants and two types of cake. Everything was prepared and packaged well for pick up. The food was delicious. All of my guests were pleased. Next year, I plan on Susanne's Bakery again. Also, lots of stops in between for a sandwich or slice of cake. I highly recommend this establishment.

Susanne's Bakery is a very nice, quaint place for coffee, lunch, or a sweet treat. The food is really good, delicious, and fresh. The savory scone, kouign amann, and morning glory muffin (still warm!) are all delicious. The pesto pasta salad is so good, and the coconut slice pie is moist and delicious. The kouign amann is perfection, with bottom layers like candy, a fluffy sweet center, and a crunchy, flaky top. The best chocolate croissant in the Puget Sound is found here. The veggie sandwich and the Ruben are the best. The staff are so nice, friendly, and quick. It is small but quaint, and a happy place. It is an absolute staple of Gig Harbor.
