“Pizza was very good! Came in with my family and everyone loved the food. I got the pepperoni mushroom calzone which was one of the best calzones I had. They did bring the pizza out on some plastic serving plates that had a slight smell of cleaning solution. It wasn’t bad but not pleasant as well. We put the pizzas on ceramic plates and smell went away. We would go again possible ask if the pizza can be placed in a to-go box to avoid the smell.“

“The young woman who waited on me (3-14-24) -- I did not catch her name; sorry -- so kind, so patient, so helpful, so personable, I felt welcome there. Oh yeah, the Kitchen Sink cookie was pretty good too. The coffee could have been hotter. But overall, a good visit.“

“I came here yesterday just looking for a healthy dining option and am so so happy to have found it. I'm up in Seattle and id literally drive down to tacoma just to visit this spot again.Nice and helpful staff, so many healthy (and unhealthy) options. I got the spiked tuna per their rec and it was so delicious! Enough for me to have as 2 meals while still priced like I'm not in 2024. The tuna itself was delicious, and had just enough of a twist that I felt like I couldn't make it at home which is always my complaint with sandwich shops.Besides the tuna I got the chili (pictured) which was presented so pretty and tasted the same. My girl had the greek salad (it was very very chopped) and we shared a froyo. Both were tasty and I'd love to come back to try more of their desserts and a few of the other items! Absolutely a must visit spot!I also want to shout out the people who worked there because they were so friendly and welcoming not just to me and my friend but to everyone who came in. They gave out the cutest samples and hand decorated and plated them and brought them to every table. Vibes were so high and you could tell they cared about the spot too. Employees tell me if I'm wrong of course but we love a spot that staff doesn't immediately look like they want to quit <3Vegetarian options: The veggie options looked really good too, and the salads all came no meat, not just the one sandwich kind of tossed up there like usual. But still only a few options. I will say that I'm sure the employees would be happy to modify anything on the menu for this need though.“

“I LOVE Mediterranean food and was so excited to try out Al Bacha in downtown Tacoma! My friends and I visited this Saturday and I ordered a lamb gyro. Let me tell you this was a top tier full flavor gyro. It was a huge portion of lamb, out of this world tziki, crisp lettuce, and all the vegetables. I also appreciated the drink case with every drink variety you can imagine. Casual dining experience, low price, highlyRecommend this location!Parking: Paid street parking, can be difficult to find parking at peak hours. There is a paid lot around the block.“

“We love coming here for absolutely delicious pizza, calzones, and sub sandwiches. It's not New York but in terms of vibe and food quality, it's the one that comes closest in Tacoma. There's a LOT of good pizza in Tacoma but this place is modest and you'd never know by looking just how good the food will be. Bonus points for serving single slices every weekday before 3 for the neighborhood high school students from the School of the Arts.Kid-friendliness: A perfect place to bring kids. Super casual and spacious.“

“I used to work across the street and would find every excuse possible to come here. Several times a week I’d get whatever delicious sandwich they were testing up, a chicken melt if I wanted to get nothing done for my day, or fall back on their classic club with some giardiniera.I’ve been away from Tacoma for almost a year and not a week goes by that I’m not thinking about the incredible sandwiches and wonderfully kind people here.Do yourself a favor and eat here.“

“I think this place suffers from it's own success. I came here with my friends a month or so ago because the online reputation was so good. This place is spendy to the point that I expect a mouth-gasm and what we had was great but not to that level... not enough to justify the price. There were four of us and we ordered near half of the menu and everything was good but not excellent. The portions were all pretty small too, to the point that one should expect to order an app, a main, and a side dish, which is fine in a place like this, but each thing needs to be at a higher level than what they produced. The quality per $$$ is not there so we won't be back.“

“When my friend and I are in the mood to go out dancing we head to Dawson's. I find a lot of Joy in dancing and don't mind dancing all night by myself. We especially like to go when the T-Birds are playing. The last time we went my dentist Dr. Hickey was filling in for them. Next time I go, I will probably be when he is playing with his band. “Wow wow, this is the very very best food l ever had in my life ?, my mouth was watering ? l couldn't wait for the food to get to the table!!!! I was standing at the kitchen waiting for the food to get to the table. I ordered 3 plates, No doggie bag please. I gobbled all three. I spend a ton there. Man oh man it's the deal!!! I can't wait to go there again. I'm counting the days, it's the best. My family Loves it ❤ Olive Garden has customer for life. Thank Goddness for them. Keep on making that Great food l will be there. “Came in with my son's basketball team. Everyone was so friendly. Food was tasty. I had ordered a few more pizzas to go, and the lady assumed I don't eat pork (I wear a head covering) so she changed the pizza cutter to a new one to avoid any cross contamination. I didn't even ask. You guys have a new repeat customer from this alone! Thank you“

“Soups and salads freshly made at a reasonable price. I always have enough for a second lunch. Service and environment is welcoming, clean, and quick. They do have tables for eat in or a small office lunch out.Give them a try while dropping pounds in the New Year!“
