“We had a date night here and were absolutely impressed. The Beecher’s grilled cheese and butternut squash soup was a stand out. Both of our pasta entrees were phenomenal as well. The star of the show, though, was our dessert, which was a deconstructed PB&J. I don’t think I’ve ever had something that had such a wide variety of complementary textures. It was amazing and flavorful.“

Went on a Thursday where the drink special is lemon drops and they were perfect, I ordered a lavender flavored one which was made by the all magical artist Devin who was the sweetest and takes great pride in what I think is his passion of making amazingly pleasing drinks. I could not put the lavender one down !✨??“

“My wife and I visited two best friends from Gig Harbor this past weekend.
We took the ferry and the local bus to Voshon to have lunch and explore the town which was very charming.
We lunch at the Hardware Store Restaurant which was great and great service.
Our bus driver gave us bogus information about which bus to take back to our ferry and would delay us about 3 hours to get the next one due to the bus schedule. I went back to the restaurant to ask the very pleasant hostess if there was any car service to our ferry.
A woman standing there, unknown to me was the owner, Joanie.
She suggested to search Google for a ride option but there was none, no Uber etc. Joanie actually said she would give us a ride to the ferry. It was so very kind and gracious of her to do so. We could not thank her enough and she definitely MADE OUR DAY.
When in Voshon please visit the Hardware Restaurant for a great experience and hopefully meet their wonderful owner.

“OMG the food and drinks are amazing. I’m new to the Tacoma area from San Diego and today my taste buds got tickled. Here’s a list of what I liked!

1. Being I went on a Monday it was actually open. All the other popular brunch spots aren’t open on Mondays.
2. The staff was awesome. We got seated quickly and the service did not take long.
3. We sat at bar by the kitchen area and got to see our food get made
4. For drinks I got the Huckleberry latte and for alcohol I got the Strawberry Gimlet. Both were very good and you could really feel the kick in the gimlet.
5. For food the waitress recommended the stuffed biscuits. So I went with the Van Gogh. At first encounter I thought I was going to be extremely dry. It was not!!! It had lots of different flavors coming together like a masterful piece of art. Definitely recommend that parmesan sauce. Could drink that straight.
Definitely will be a return costumer.

“I am from TN and was recommended by my cousin to come here. Definitely some good pizza. I will make this my go to spot, when I come visit Wa State. I want to try a salad next time it looked so good. Great vibes and workers were nice.“

“I got a free swag bag of pasta related stuff because I ordered a pasta dish. They gave me a good amount of after dinner mints. The service was very good. I've dined at this bistro for years and it's very good. I recommend their creme brulee for dessert and their kalamata olive aioli dip with fries it's addictive! I usally get the chicken and herb goat cheese sandwich. Very good by the way but, I got this gnocchi dish and because it was pasta month I got a free swag bag sponsored by Barilla since I ordered a pasta dish. If you are hungry while shopping at Nordstrom's it's a great place to check out.“

“During my stay at the Murano, I had the pleasure to experience both the breakfast and dinner menus at the Bite restaurant located on the 4th floor.When I first arrived, I met an associate for coffee and Deborah made us the Mocha and Latte, both were great. She mentioned the restaurant opened up for dinner and invited us back. KB was my dinner server, he was attentive and friendly. Mayra was my server for breakfast and she was incredible. There were also 2 other staff members who periodically check in, so no definitely no shortage of good service. I had the overnight oats, which was a balance of sweet, with a bit of nutrition. Although it is considered a “small” on the menu, I found it to be perfectly filling.Highly recommend giving this place a try. For the food, the ambiance, and the friendly staff. I will definitely be coming back.“

“I don't give out a lot of 5s but this place deserves it, all 3 categories were 5 stars. We came in 10 minutes before last call for food/drinks but they were very welcoming, got us a table and menus. We ordered quickly and the food was excellent, as was the service. I really like the atmosphere and decor here as well.“

I ordered the crabcakes. CRAB CAKES ($19) Housemade Crab Cakes | Red Pepper | Green Onion Garlic | Panko | Coconut Jalapeno Tartar | Side Salad The plating was surprising, to say the least. It makes no sense to serve a tiny appetizer on a rectangular plate that emphasizes how meager the portion is. When I inquired about the side salad, my attention was directed to the naked arugula leaves beneath my crabcakes. The crabcakes were average at best. The service was good. I would return again to try the Tasso tacos, which has been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives.“
