“My favorite brunch place in Seattle. I absolutely LOVE their Dutch pancakes, they are perfect. My husband loves their classic breakfast plate and says it's simple but perfect. And we're both fiends for their special house made ketchup... so much so that I asked if I could have a side to take home.. haha. Also love their service, the waitresses are super warm and nice which elevated the experience. I would come here every week if I could.“
“For my boyfriend’s birthday, I took him to get a Tomahawk steak at Flint Creek. We were both incredibly blown away by the quality of the food and the top tier service given to us by Nathan, our server. The tomahawk was sooo good, it had a delightful spice crust on the outside and was cooked to perfection. We also both swooned over the prosciutto & plum dish (absolutely god tier). Our table service was unmatched— Nathan made sure that we were taken care of every single step of the way and we left feeling full and satisfied. Thank you Nathan & the team at Flint Creek!!“
“We came here randomly to celebrate NYE 2024 before heading to a rooftop party to watch the Space Needle NYE show. No reservations are needed, so this place came in clutch. We're so glad we came here! The owners were there and provided NYE hats and party beads, and the whole bar had a champagne toast to celebrate the ball drop in NYC. It was such a nice time, and the owners were very kind in providing NYE gear and champagne for everyone! We had yet to learn before coming here how much of a community vibe you get with this place. We ordered: -The Crab Nachos were super filling and tasty. I'm so glad we got these! They were the perfect final meal to end 2023. I will definitely be back for these. -The Painted Hills Beef Burger was delicious and filling. -While I Was Away - Refreshing and light, perfect pre-dinner drink -Devil's Margarita--This one was pretty strong. I highly recommend it. The flavor mix was interesting. I noticed this was a big hit. There were several tables that got this one. -Some beers, I need to remember which ones, but my partner says they were good! Overall will be back, the prices, the community vibe, and how much you can tell the owners care about their patrons shows. This place tends to be busy with regulars for a reason!“
“I truly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The only annoyance and it is minor. The bartender kept calling me and everyone. "My love." At first, it was cute and welcoming, but after the 3rd or 4th time. The phrase "lost its meaning. And just became filler words. Other than that, I will gladly return. This place was great ? ?“
“This place is absolutely adorable and has the best vibe! The decor makes you feel like you’re in a safe place, and the service backs that feeling up. The food is fantastic too! Highly recommend attending Drag Brunch on Sunday, the queens are insanely talented and the atmosphere is electric! JT behind the bar is amazing, and the drinks are delicious and creative! Highly recommend the Buzz Bunny. Food-wise, Chicken and Beignets gives a wonderful twist on the classic chicken and waffles, complete with soft serve! You read that correctly. You really can’t go wrong with a visit to Kamp Social House, where you’ll be treated to an amazing meal by gorgeous and considerate humans!“
“Very charming neighborhood restaurant in Cap Hill. Food was great and ambiance 10/10. However, our server wasn’t very friendly /borderline rude which we looked past. I was also a bit disappointed in the quality of their craft cocktails featured for Cocktail week.“
“Hands down the best restaurant in Seattle!Make the trip to the Green Lake neighborhood. The food is so well thought out and hyper local. The entire service staff exudes Michelin star knowledge. The wine team has curated one of the best by the glass programs/ bottle list in Seattle. Their attention to detail and sustainable practices is the scale of Nomad.Hands down the best dining experience in Seattle!“
“Parking is very easy on weekdays (except Friday), especially after 9 pm but it can get packed during weekends. Price came out to be around $100 for four drinks, it's on the pricier side but the presentation and concepts are good. We got the lawn boy, Shaballah, campfire in Georgia, and Snow White's bong. I'd recommend the first two for people who enjoy sweet drinks and the latter two for people who want something different. They have almost 5,000 labels in house so if you're a spirit enthusiast, this is the place for you. Great place to take a date after dinner but service can take a little long depending on how busy they are.“
“Took my fiance here with my mother for my fiance's birthday. It also happened to be Easter ?. The staff was still operating at top notch although other places were straight up closed. Glad we walked it.We ordered the seared octopus which was according to my mother who is an octopus fanatic some of the best she's ever had ??..., the scallops which were my favorite (5⭐)... and the spicy steam clams which my fiance adored (delicious green curry base). Over all amazing experiences for grabbing some cocktails and a small bite with friends or family. Come show this place some love so it can stick around ?“
“One of my friends suggested Single Shot for an intimate brunch, and even though we are from Tacoma and I was hesitant to drive all the way to Seattle just for a brunch spot, it was definitely worth it!Single Shot is tucked back in the neighborhoods near Capitol Hill where you wouldn’t even think such a modern and outstanding brunch spot would be! It was honestly hidden between older homes and apartments and would be easy to miss if you didn’t know what you were looking for. It’s a cozy restaurant inside and has nice outdoor seating as well. The decor is a modern take on vintage style, and being there feels both like stepping back in time but also living in the 2024 you only see in movies. The staff are all extremely friendly with customers as well as with each other. I was new, but I could tell based on watching staff and patrons interact that there are a lot of regulars.I was given a heads up that the food is large, so we decided to do family style dining, and it was truly large servings! I was shocked by how large a single pancake was!! Between the three of us, we still had leftovers! Everything is homemade and uses fresh ingredients too! Even the toast was impressive and toast is usually the leftover filler for small meals, but not here!I cannot wait to come back!“
“I have been here twice now and the food is great. I typically go for their BLT . They serve it with biscuits, poached eggs, collard greens , bacon, tomato jam, sweet chilies and mayo.My husband likes their fried chicken with biscuits and gravy. I really like their biscuits and I find myself going here when I miss wandering goose or the biscuit and bean. I really do wish they would serve mushroom gravy. Service is good.“
“Absolutely loved this place! From the ambiance to the staff and food! We ordered the steak which was cooked in front of us and it was delicious. We also had the cheeseburger and it was delicious as well. The fries were perfect, crisp and seasoned, with fresh grated cheese on top. The atmosphere especially made the dinner memorable.“
“Taylor took great care of us. Our drinks were great! The place was busy on a Thursday night in April-i can't imagine a weekend! The patty melt was ok- needed extra sauce and hardly any onions, but plenty of gooey cheese. The sourdough bread was toasted perfectly so it didn't scrape your mouth. The fries had great flavor but were soft.“
“My partner chose Stateside for his birthday dinner, and it was all around an excellent experience! Ambiance is modern, clean, and not stuffy at all. You'd feel just as comfortable in athleisure as you would in dressy cocktail attire here. Staff was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable, and paced the meal perfectly. We started out with a cocktail each--I can't recall the names as their website cocktail menu does not match what we saw, but my partner had a mule with lime leaf and galangal that was absolutely spectacular. The lime leaf and galangal made my palate SING and it was hands down the best iteration of a mule we've ever had. Now the most important part: FOOD. CRISPY DUCK FRESH ROLLS | Y'all weren't playing, this was the GOAT, and by far our favorite dish. It was texturally perfect, and I do not throw that description around lightly. The crispness of the spring roll inside a fresh roll!? Absolutely genius. I will say that my Korean American palate registered the seasoning on this as just barely teetering on a tiny bit oversalted side (esp with the accompanying dipping sauce), but the texture was so divine that I really can't dock it. STICKY RICE DUMPLINGS | A deconstructed dumpling, really. The rice dumpling on its own would have been nothing to write home about, but the combination of everything (ethereally fluffy dungeness crab! earthy maitake! perfectly cooked taro!) with the broth made it all work so well, especially texturally. The broth was basically buttery liquid gold. MASTER STOCK CRISPY CHICKEN | This was perfectly good chicken, but I can't say it was that memorable as a whole. We ordered a side of the brussel sprouts which were delicious (again, texture was on point with the rice cracker pieces) as well as the ginger rice to go along with this, and I have to say the brussel sprouts were far more memorable. Superb texture really seemed to be the central theme of our dinner, so while I'd really recommend Stateside to everyone, I'd ESPECIALLY recommend it for those who have an extra appreciation for textural masterpieces.“
“What a lovely gem!Came here with mother and wife on a Saturday for lunch and were really impressed by the food. The fried oyster po boy was something out of this world! I never knew you could have such good po boy outside of Louisiana ?Wife ordered the lamb gnocchi which was also very delicious! ? We also ordered a warm beet salad and a cannoli which we liked as well.Their lunch menu is quite reasonable. And their proximity to Green Lake makes this place an ideal fueling station after your run or biking tour. ?“
“SuperB. We dined at 84 Yesler during our visit to Seattle. This restaurant is on top of its game. Excellent ( I mean EXCELLENT ) food, service, atmosphere, decor, all at highest level. (even the bathroom was laboratory clean..!). Quiet impressive that super talented young chef and her team serving [ very successfully] Japanese & Med influenced creations. All with beautiful presentation, very tasty and complimenting flavors, Full bar and good wine selection is available, prices are decent for what it is. All of our selections were excellent, that pasta & lobster dish was out of this world. Also the Apple - cake... heavenly. I have been in many Michelin Star restaurants weren't as this good. Congrats to you all and bravo. Next visit to Seattle, we will come again.“
“The food is exquisite and Chef William is a gem. We can always count on a great meal and having a wonderful night out. We love Violet! We also love sitting at the bar and chatting it up with Kevin. If you want a fun night out, head to Violet! You won’t be disappointed!“
“I had a FABULOUS nonalcoholic cocktail, the name escapes me, but it was definitely the best NA I've ever had. The mouthfeel resembled real alcohol. Very impressive. My butternut squash soup was very flavorful, but for my tastes was a bit too thick. My date's cauliflower steak was not tender, but otherwise tasty. The management did not end up charging him for it, which was commendable.I would definitely return to try their steaks and more cocktails!“
“this is one of the best spots to chill .. depending on what you're craving, they've got great food ... this has become the calmest place for me after work ... food for me: Shepard's pie poutine Olmstead Burger Housemade Meatloaf drink: adult coke (they use the best cherries)“
“We went to Nicks’s for dinner Saturday night. Food, service, ambiance all great. You can tell they really care about doing things well. We had so much fun. And everyone was so nice. Highly recommend going here. We plan to go back many times.“
“It was one of the best meals I have ever had. Had a seat where I could watch the meals being prepped, which was fun. The service was amazing. They were very attentive and knowledgeable. Food was off the charts good. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for gluten-free meals. The server was very knowledgeable.“
“Needed a quick breakfast and stumbled upon this cafe, it was just what I needed. Cool vibe, friendly staff and quick service.I got the basic breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, rye toast and sausage. The texture of some eggs can throw me off, but these were perfect.“
“Nell’s is by far a gem of the Northwest. Their food and service have always been amazing and we just found their quarantine take out is no different. It’s one of those all time favorites where you have fun just reading the menu and then are giddy waiting for your meal. A must try venue that we are grateful to have in Greenlake!“
“Eden Hill was such a a mind blowing experience. I have celiac and they took such good care of me with amazing gluten free food in a group of 4. The shared plates gave us an opportunity to try a bit of everything and when the group ordered items that weren't safe for me they gave me safe versions to try whenever possible. They were truly just so kind and caring about the food and the experience they served up. I can't recommend this place enough! Definitely will be back anytime we're in Seattle.“
“Went for Lady Chablis's Drag Show and it was sooooo much fun! Drinks were amazing, atmosphere is like cool circus bar. The patrons are super nice and fun.Wheelchair accessibility: There is stairs to the downstairs, not wheelchair accessible“
“I dined at Lark last night as a first time visitor to Seattle. The food was good. We ordered the bread service, hamachi crudo and the trotter cake to start. Lauren was our server and she guided us through the meal beautifully. I ordered the scallops and my friend ordered the bucatini. We both really enjoyed the dishes but for me, the star was dessert. We had the lemon parfait (which sounds so simple, it was very complex and not a traditional parfait) and the Oaxacan torte.I do want to give Lauren another special shout out because she made us feel so welcomed and offered incredible hospitality. As the AGM of a restaurant myself, she’s definitely a gem. She even took the time to write a list of places we should go and see, all of which we are experiencing today. I really want to tell her thanks for the incredible experience!“
“Just exceptional. Truly. From the moment you enter the gates to the building you feel almost spellbound by the beauty and charm. Then you’re greeted by a genuine, kind welcoming and experience a truly remarkable dining experience. The food is so fresh and clean, the flavor combinations will make you pause in absolute delight. And the wine list is an enchanting journey by itself. Make a reservation and enjoy!“
“Very cool, pnw outdoorsy inspired place. Been here a couple times and the food is always good. Had the peri peri cauliflower and the seasonal pasta dish and some chicken wings. They used to have a cookie skillet that I loved but it’s gone for now.“
“While the menu feels very comfortable, the food is anything but. As a party of three we ordered delicious cocktails and some starters. The calamari was the highlight of the trio, with the tartare coming in close behind. For entrees we favored the lamb, but the duck was great, the Mac and Cheese decadent, and it feels odd to say - but the brussel sprouts almost over shined everything. And don't pass on dessert! The torte was a perfect bite of chocolate everything; the brownie was melt-in-your-mouth perfect; and the carrot cake was like nothing I've ever had--it was like a bite of Fall. And if you have the restraint, they all made a wonderful breakfast the following morning.“
“Great Hospitality. We came in from a long trip on Sept 23. We were exhausted, hungry and thirsty. The hostess was sympathetic to our needs. We sat at the bar and were attended to immediately by the bartender (Brian). Had a great meal !! Thanks guys! Well done!“
“The knowledgeable sommelier guided us through a delightful wine selection, both white and red. Our table was graced with an exquisite spread: eggs Benedict, apple fritters, classic breakfast, and caviar with chips. However, coffee aficionados might find the options limited—just French press with half-and-half creamer. Despite this, I wholeheartedly recommend Le Coin for a memorable brunch experience. Can't wait to explore their lunch and dinner offerings!“
“We were traveling this weekend and wanted a beer and wine between flights at Seatac. We noticed Salty's was new on the main concourse. We were treated well but the star was Robert. He was kind, cheerful and a joy. The manager was also working the floor checking in on customers, always a nice touch.“
“as this was my first time trying gumbo, I'm not sure I'm fully qualified to judge this, but I'll give it a shot anywaynormally, I don't like soups, because they're mostly liquidhowever, this was less of a soup and more of a dish with a ton of sauce - due to how much stuff is in hereI loved that this bowl was completely packed with solid ingredients - so each spoonful got you a variety of different thingsthe most important thing in a soup is getting the broth right - and I have to say they pretty much nailed itthe liquid has some spice to it - which very much pleasantly surprised me, and in addition, it has great depth of flavorI found it to be probably the best part of the bowlnone of the toppings are particularly noteworthy - they're all pretty solid additionsas mentioned earlier, the amount of meat in here was pretty fantastic.I noticed chicken and sausage as being especially present throughout, and both were pretty goodthe bread was decent - I thought it could've used more toasting/crispiness and more butter - as it became a bit too softwhen dipped in the gumbothe fries were also ok - i would've loved if they were seasoned with some sort of cajun seasoning - but the sauce was goodthe price wasn't too expensive, around 15 dollars, but the portion size wasn't huge either - so it's about a wash thereOverall, good flavor with a ton of different ingredients. 8/10“
“I live in the neighborhood and it is so lovely to be able to walk to an amazing pub with delicious fresh food that is always warm and welcoming. I have been a regular since the opened and always recommend them to folks. Most of the staff know me and my family and they always make us feel so welcome. I have gone to the other restaurants on their block, but they are my favorite.“
“Omg this shashuka was absolutely phenomenal. We also added on the lamb meatballs and they were delicious ? we got their smashed potatoes and they were nice and crispy. Their salted chocolate chip cookie was to die for and I'm a cookie snob. We both are big into cooking and flavors and overall the fat hen delivered!“
“A long-time favorite of mine I used to frequent about 10 years ago. Just returned to the neighborhood to check it out and learned that they did have to close during covid but one of the staff members was able to purchase it. The vibes and look have remained largely the same and the food which was always a highlight for me was still tip notch. A great selection of draft beers was always true but now they have added a short list of quality spirits. Do yourself a favor and grab a bite and a brew!“
“I have been to Cook Weaver 5 times now and it is amazing every time. They are now a tasting menu and they have a lot of amazing flavors. The vegetarian tasting menu is so savory. This time was the best I have ever had there with lots of mushrooms and nori. The service was so friendly and fun. The murals are gorgeous and the building is a cute little spot. I will continue to come here for special times in my life. Some of the best dishes of my life, definitely on par with Michelin starred restaurants we have tried in the past. The other members of my party raved about the omnivore menu. Pricey but definitely worth every penny. The wine pairing was great too with some really unique choices.“
“During my recent visit to Seattle, I had the pleasure of dining at Swel, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance set a high standard – elegant yet welcoming, perfectly capturing the essence of fine dining with a personal touch. The highlight of my meal was the filet with peppercorn sauce. Cooked to perfection, it was a flavorful masterpiece that melted in my mouth. Accompanying this was a tequila old-fashioned – a delightful twist on a classic. This drink made me rethink my usual bourbon preference; it was that impressive! But what truly set Swel apart was the owner's involvement. Their passion and dedication were evident in every detail, from the meticulously crafted menu to the attentive service. It was inspiring to see an owner so deeply involved, ensuring each guest's experience was exceptional. In summary, Swel is a must-visit for anyone in Seattle seeking a top-tier dining experience. It's a testament to what happens when exquisite food, innovative drinks, and heartfelt hospitality come together. A true five-star experience! Also, make sure to get the scratch-made bread pudding. You won’t be sorry.“
“Good food, small space, but good atmosphere. Very friendly staff- stayed kind under pressure when their wifi needed reset on a busy Saturday morning.Got the bowl of grits, very good. Grits are thick yellow polenta type- tasty indeed and did not need to add salt!“
“We were in Seattle for a conference and stumbled upon Dead Line completely by accident when the place next door couldn't accommodate our party. Since there were nine of us, they seated us in their private room which had couches and comfy chairs and a cozy, speakeasy atmosphere. It was late so we ordered cocktails and a variety of small plates. I ordered the Tarragon Negroni and, seriously, it is the best cocktail I have ever had. I'm sad that I live 1100 miles away and can't return for another one. All of the small plates we ordered were tasty but my favorite was the Potato Cheese Empanadas. Our server was informative, attentive and entertaining. What a great find!“
“Pancita was sooo good! One of the better meals I have had recently. We got the tuna tostada, brisket suadero tacos, and the half chicken and mole. All the flavors were incredible, and I loved the ambience of the restaurant. Excited to come back!“
“Great, iconic place downtown with drinks and some food. I go there to see bands and it can get loud in there (bring ear plugs ?).There's also a hot dog vendor outside for that late night Seattle Dog.There's a 3% card fee if you pay be credit card.“
“Came for cocktail week and loved to see a woman owned spot! The entire staff working was women which was awesome. We got the kale and potatoes which were absolutely delicious. I want to figure out how to make that kale as it was so good! Love that they have boozy, light booze, and mocktails. Fun spot for a few apps and drinks.“
“Wonderfully creative food that didn't feel overly pretentious and filled us up. The Staff was informative and friendly, taking times to explain and recommend dishes without being asked; If this was located downtown it would be twice the price and still worth it.“
“Ordered on a whim from Uber Eats because the main photo looked good… risky I know. Our chicken was SO juicy and delicious. Even better than I imagined from that photo! The cheesy grits have such an amazing depth of flavor! Truly one of the best meals I’ve eaten in Seattle.“
“We had dinner here and the food, drinks, view and service were impressive. My second visit experience is the same as my first, pleasant and delicious. If you are visiting Pike Place Market, this is the place to visit for a relaxing break.“
“"Do ya like smooth jazz?"The jazzzz the staffff the cocktailsss... All, excellent. The Zig Zag burger was also very good. I wasn't a fan of the coconut risotto, but everything else was great. Our server, Kaira, was so cool I can't even lie. Good experience!“
“Chris made our night memorable! Went above and beyond. Oysters were fresh amd yummy. Scallops and steaks cooked perfect. Sides were good flavor.Received excellent service with additional dessert and drinks. Would highly recommend a stop at this historical labdmark location!“
“Been in Seattle for 8 years now, and can’t believe we hadn’t been here before. Hands down the best meal (really an experience) in the city. The food was creative, whimsical, incredibly well balanced. Wine pairings were impeccable and gave us a new appreciation for Washington vintners. The staff were so warm and knowledgeable. We sat at the chef’s table and got to watch the artistry happening in the kitchen. No on site parking, so would recommend taking a rideshare. Probably best after the wine anyway. Well worth it!!“
“We had a really nice time here after touring cherry blossoms at UW. Great service pleasant setting and great food Special shout out to servers Ben and Nick who were super welcoming, very friendly and were a big part of making this a nice experience.“
