Based on the reviews, the food at Café Bistro at Nordstrom is always great and the quality is excellent. The Chef's Featured pizza with pepperoni and a variety of mushrooms was very delicious, and the Birria pizza was amazing. The shakshuka on a bed of Israeli couscous was great, and a friend's waffle won raves. The French dip sandwich, turkey sandwich, and salmon were all superb. A shared brownie sundae was delicious. Service is usually good, with lovely, friendly servers who are attentive and check coffee often. However, the process of ordering and paying at the counter undercuts the experience of a leisurely lunch. The restaurant is now using paper napkins instead of cloth, which feels like a downgrade. The clean, updated interior warrants the higher food prices.
