“Went to WildFin last night for the first time to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It was arguably the BEST service we’ve experienced at a restaurant! It was very busy, peak hours, with a Christmas boat parade on the water going on and our server, Kendra, was incredible! She was kind, personable, attentive, efficient, and knowledgeable on the menu. And that was just the cherry on top. The food was delicious, great portions, and left us feeling satisfied. Such a great experience! We’ll definitely be back.“

“Just went there for the first time and we were super impressed with how fast our food came out! I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was hands down the best breakfast burrito I have ever had, normally places have way too much eggs in them but not here! Perfect! Great coffee too. Our waitress was super kind and cool as well!

Friends and I stopped by for desert, and both the Lava Cake and Pineapple Upside-down were life altering delights of immense taste bud, interconnected neurological pleasure.Food is food, some is great, others not so much. “Well, it’s Friday night in Tacoma, which is about the time the week lets go of your collar and you realize you’ve survived another five days of God's green earth. The sun is setting over the Sound; the parking lot is filling up with folks who’ve decided that cooking supper is an optional hobby for another day.

I was sitting there at a high-top table with three of my coworkers—good people, salt of the earth, the kind of folks who know how to work hard and aren’t afraid to talk about it over a beer. We had ourselves a perch where we could swivel our heads just enough to keep one eye on the NFL game and the other on the Seattle Mariners, hoping against hope that tonight’s the night things finally break our way.

Now, some folks from out of town might look at a chain restaurant and think it’s all mass-produced and predictable, like a box of saltines from the bottom of the pantry. But those folks haven’t met Kamie.

Kamie was our waitress, and let me tell you, she is the sort of person who could walk into a church basement during an argument over the annual bazaar and leave everyone feeling like they’d just won a blue ribbon for their winter squash. She has that cheerful, unflappable grace you only find in people who possess bottomless patience and have spent a good long while dealing with the public. She carried our orders with the easy poise of a choir director stepping up to the piano, and she didn't bat an eye when four of us showed up looking for a good meal and a beverage after a long week on the docks.

I ordered the riblet meal—tender little morsels of pork bathed in sweet and spicey barbecue sauce that’s sweet with just enough heat to remind you you’re alive—alongside a cold, frosty draft of beer that had beads of condensation running down the glass like a cold morning on open water. The food was good, solid, honest nourishment that didn't put on airs.

But the service? Well, the service was, as they say, WOW! Kamie brought the plates out with a smile that could melt the frost off a windshield, kept our glasses from going empty while we hashed out the events of the work week, and made you feel like you were the only table in the whole place, even though the room was humming right along with the weekend crowd.

It was a fine Friday night in Tacoma, good company, good food, and a reminder that grace can show up just about anywhere—even under the amber glow of an Applebee's neon sign. Five stars, without a doubt.“

“My boyfriend and I ate here twice while staying at the La Quinta about a week ago and the server/bartender was awesome. The food was good and she made a really strong Lemon Drop! “I had a great night at Hank’s enjoying the tasty French dip and fresh dinner salad. The roast was heated on the grill with very little fat on the slices. The bread was toasted; crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.“

Ribs were very tasty slightly dry but very much edible and delicious. Coleslaw was a pleasant surprise, having the pineapple in it beans were on point. I personally was not a fan of the dessert. I had the cream puff pecan ice cream dessert it was prepared. Well, it looked good. It was personal preference not liking it. It was taken off of my bill not at my request. A special shoutout to Kollin for taking exceptional care of me while I dined and relaxed. He went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and completely satisfied throughout my meal. “Went to Dirty Oscar’s with a friend. I had fish & chips. Great batter not too thick. Also experienced the different tartar sauce- best ever. I liked that it was unique. If you have not tried the bar-restaurant, try it out.“

“I stopped by this place during work to grab a quick bite before heading to my next service call, and I’m really glad I did.

There was no line when I walked in, and the cashier (who I think might be the owner) was incredibly friendly. He even offered me a bag of chips on the house, which was a nice gesture, even though I politely declined because I’m not a big chips person.

I asked him what he recommended, and I went with his suggestion. It was absolutely worth it. Honestly, it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. The portion was perfect, the flavors were spot on, and nothing felt overdone. The bacon was cooked perfectly—crispy, flavorful, and exactly how it should be. Everything tasted fresh, like it was made with quality, house-prepped ingredients.

The whole experience was quick and effortless. I waited less than a minute for my food, and the service couldn’t have been better.

As a contractor who’s on the road all day, finding a place that’s fast, friendly, and serves genuinely great food makes a huge difference. This place made my day a little easier. If I’m ever back in the area, I’ll definitely stop in again.
