“This is a very trendy and popular breakfast place. There was a line the whole time we dined in so be sure to come early! I tried the agua fresca watermelon drink, avocado toast, and latke hashbrown. The hashbrown was a bit salty but was still super yummy with the dipping sauces. The I had a cheese biscuit as the base to my avocado toast and it was really good! Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. The 70s interior was fun and definitely made for a 21 or older crowd.“

Parkway Tavern checks all the boxes — great beer selection, delicious food, good music, and a really cool neighborhood atmosphere. It's tucked right into the middle of a residential neighborhood and feels like a true local spot.

The French dip was excellent. The roast beef was perfectly grilled, flavorful and tender, and the sandwich was really well done.

Bonus - the bathrooms were super clean!

I booked him for an event at an assisted living facility for seniors and he was amazing!!! Not only was the ice cream delicious, but John took the time to interact with the residents putting a smile on their faces! John was professional, warm and friendly! “Spotted this place on our way through Tacoma and so glad we stopped! Got the taro strawberry with oat milk — creamy, layered, and beautifully balanced between the nutty taro and fruity strawberry. Also tried the mango lychee, which was refreshing and perfectly sweet without being sugary. Both drinks were gorgeous to look at and even better to drink. Cute aesthetic inside too, with a “there’s no place like Jodo” neon sign that’s perfect for pics. Hands down some of the best boba we’ve had — highly recommend!“

“I absolutely adore this spot. I've lived in WA since 2022 and this is only the 2nd time I've absolutely loved creole food here. There were 7 of us. 3 adults, 3 teenagers and a hyper 8yr old. We skipped appetizers so we could have dessert. A few of us had their Chicken and Gumbo. A few of us had Shrimp & Grits....one tried their Oysters Rockefeller. Everyone was content. The portions are perfect and the price point is fair. My favorite part....Andouille sausage. I was blessed enough to get a moment with the chef and he told me all about it. Much appreciated! Times are tough and this is one of the few places we can enjoy a great meal without breaking the bank. Nothing beats an ice cold Heidelberg and a Parky’s pizza.“

“This review is based off of the one time I've gone. I went after work with my colleagues, they stayed and had their food, I got mine to go. All of them enjoyed their dishes. When I got home and ate my food, I was very surprised.
Because of where I live, I eat a lot of Vietnamese food. This place was definitely different. First of all, the staff were very nice. Secondly, the noodle salad was unlike others I've had. The highest praise goes to the shrimp. I've never had a shrimp roll as good as this was. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. I will definitely come back to try more dishes. “Kura is always a fun experience! The revolving sushi makes trying different rolls and small plates easy, and everything we had was fresh and tasty. The touchscreen ordering system is simple to use, and the service was quick and friendly.

The best part is the interactive experience. Watching the plates go by, trying new things, and earning prizes by returning your plates makes dinner a little more fun than your average sushi spot.

The atmosphere can get a little busy and loud, especially during peak hours, but that’s part of the energy of the place. If you’re looking for good sushi at a reasonable price and a fun dining experience, Kura is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back!“
