“The food here has always been great. I rated the atmosphere at 3 because of the neighborhood. Its not because of frugals.
Its just a depressing, dismal neighborhood, typical of the whole of Peirce County.

“5 guys already has an excellent way of showing that they are one of the kings at making burgers with their amazing way of preparing fries and using fresh ingredients. They never fail at great customer service and its so enjoyable to walk in any burger joint and always hear patties sizzling fresh. Their prices are definitely worth the flavor, specialy the burger size! Cajun fries always make the car smell amazing, I only wish they sold an air freshener for my car with that smell. I rather save some money and go to five guys than to spend it on cheaper mid burgers. Thank you for taking care of my taste buds, for that ... you are now family.“

“I honestly can't understand how this place only has 3.9 stars. The customer service is a 20 out of 10. They have never messed up an order, the food is always fresh, and using the app makes everything quick and easy. Credit where credit is due—this location consistently does a great job, and the staff deserves recognition for their hard work and attention to detail. Keep it up!“

“Came in on 7/5/2026 to have lunch with my mom and husband. The beer battetrd cod fish and chips were fantastic. Chowder was just right thickness with lots of potatoes and clams. Definitely my new favorite Ivar's location.

“First time eating here, on the trend to trying all the locally owned restaurants in Tacoma. Saw this place on tiktok and the food was really good and delicious. The lady on counter was super beautiful as well and great customer service. I'll be coming back one day.“

“I've lived in this neighborhood for 32 years. I've been eating these hamburgers and drinking these milkshakes with a smile on my face ever since Bob opened the doors in 2013. I've never gotten a bad meal or shake.“

“First time I tried the fried chicken (had the sandwich before), chicken was very juicy, nice crispy batter, got the spicy version and could have done with more heat, it was present but more in the aftertaste.

My wife got a side of the spaghetti and really liked it, I found the sweetness odd, not bad but it seemed to lean towards a BBQ flavor to me. I will have to try it again, my biscuit was very buttery, the gravy had a great flavor though it was a bit thin.

Hopefully we get one closer to Vancouver to more easily try it again.“

“Cool little dive bar. I have been twice, once for trivia and another time it was karaoke. I didn't sing but a lot of people did and that was pretty fun. Trivia was a lot of fun too even though I came in last.🤷‍♀ Everyone was really nice, food was good, I don't drink so can't judge drinks but it was a cool spot, if go again.“

“The owners are like family! They lived in my old neighborhood where they owned & managed the Subway location in Des Moines. They have relocated and their customer service still remains extraordinary! Their atmosphere is always inviting & peaceful with many seats to please. The perfect oasis for a “single mom” getaway that allows free AC & WIFI. Thank you for the best subway sandwich—I will always prefer this family’s location over any others, this neighborhood is beautiful;)“

“Only the drive thru is open, which is fine. I never usually have issues at this fast food store, believe it or not. Food is usually fresh and hot. This is an A&W KFC combination so you get a choice of burgers or chicken. There were 6 cars in front of us and the line always moves quickly. I have never been "parked" at this store.“

“Very impressed with this Dairy Queen store location. Dairy Queen is a top favorite with my wife and kids so I have been to many locations in MN and WI. I had never been to this location so called to confirm they sold cakes. The customer service on the phone was upbeat and friendly. The service at the store when I arrive was equal to the call (friendly and helpful). While I waited for the cake (very quick) to be personalized, I observed great and efficient service for each customer in line. Great store!! Until next time.“

“Best location hands down!!! They always greet whoever walks in, they always get my order right no matter how long the lines are. . The line might be long at times but it’s a small price to pay for how exceptional their service is. They always check in with you while you’re in line so you’re not just standing there wondering how much longer before you’re helped unlike the LOWSY PUYALLUP LOCATION. I love the staff! I appreciate the cleanliness! I overall enjoy coming here, which is usually 2-3x a week cause the foods so fresh. This location deserves ALL THE STARS!!! :)“

“Beautiful decor, and yummy food and drinks. We went for lunch yesterday, and it was perfect out on the deck, relaxing in a comfy chair with a nice view. I ordered the chicken and brie sandwich, while my mom had the French onion soup, and we both loved our dishes. Their cocktail menu is great, and our very kind waitress actually offered a custom-mixed drink, when I had a hard deciding between a couple of options. Loved everything and will definitely be back!“

“Typical expectations for a DFAC. Coffee is present hot and sometimes cold, both expresso/latte machines are usually down 80% of the time. Good omelet bar and dual self-service lines are helpful in keeping the wait time very low. With the crazy price of fruit, the fresh fruit bar is a steal. For the breakfast price of a little more than $4, it's a great option that's about 1/3 what you'd spend buying breakfast at Starbucks or whatever.

Kid-friendliness: I've seen some soldiers bring kids, so they seem welcome, but its a eat house, so no horse play.

Wheelchair accessibility: Automatic door buttons and the entire facility is on a flat surface. I'm sure food service soldiers would assist in preparing plates as well if needed.“

“I had accidentally placed an order at a different location, and the man who took my order agreed to let me have my order here he accommodated me and took care of my problem no questions asked. This location is great I've never had a problem with it and I will continue to go probably to this location exclusively from now on.“

The staff was very hygienic — switching gloves and using a fresh knife for every sandwich. The bread was soft and fresh, they had a veggie patty option, and the store was clean and smelled great.

“This is my neighborhood Subway and usually everything is great. Today my experience was less than optimal. The soda fountain is gone and the feeling was we were keeping the young lady from her phone call. Actually she kept the call open and on speaker while continuing to apologize to her friend for having to wait on customers. While we sat and ate, she kept talking loudly with her friend, still on speaker. What a joke! I had my 3 young grandchildren with me and was not happy.“

“It's pizza! The lady that works the counter at night is very good at her job. She's the type of employee companies should go out of their way to retain. I came in to pick up my order and she was very apologetic for it not being ready yet, even though it was my fault for not listening to my girlfriend, which caused me to be 15 mins early. The food is way cheaper, higher quality, is made fresh faster, and the interior is nicer than other locations.

I just got a beefy 5-layer from the frive through and it was made fresh so fast I got the food before they gave me my debit card back. The sour cream was still cold and everything else was still hot.
