I typically order from the app to then pickup at the store, but abandoned the order when I thought it was such a high price point, promptly then sharing this review in anger and frustration, due to many companies gouging customers in a similar fashion in recent times. Relatable, perhaps?

I reopened the app upon seeing your response, adding the dot cake cookie to the cart again in attempts to recreate my first sticker shock experience, quickly seeing that the total I initially saw reflected the addition of a suggested tip making it the aforementioned $7.99.😳

The first time around, I adjusted the tip amount to my usual $1 and then updated the car info for a curbside pickup to my temporary rental car info. Apparently, the tip amount didn't update properly since it was still at the higher amount at checkout, causing the whole snafu.

Updating the review to only four stars because the support team is a super pain to reach now- they just don't respond- it used to be easy in-app if points needed correcting or my order was off from time to time. Each time I've contacted this store for help, I've been directed to the site, making it a time and money--wasting catch-22 of sorts.

Anyway, yada, yada, thanks for helping me discover that the higher amount wasn't the case. It didn't seem like one of the non-cookie desserts that ARE a bit more. Whew! 😅 Celebrated with a cookie.“
