“Food, service and atmosphere were absolutely phenomenal. Beautiful ambiance & service as if you’re family & presented with exceptionally creative and delicious food. You get what you pay for and every bite/sip was divine. Highly recommend!!“
“There are a number of good choices for fish and other seafood on the Tacoma waterfront, and Duke's may be the best, if you are looking for good water views, an informal atmosphere and friendly, well-informed service. It's a bit pricey, but no more than its competition, and the quality of the food is consistently high. And there is a range of prices. The cod is first-rate -- it doesn't have to be salmon or halibut. Note that there are very limited options for vegetarians and vegans. Also note that these folks do a very nice business, even on Mondays. The good news is that, unlike some of their competition, they take reservations for small parties. Reservations are strongly recommended.“
“I tried the coconut cupcake today and oh my God, it’s one of the best cupcakes I’ve had. The flavor is amazing. The whipped frosting is just right, light and satisfying. I can’t want to try other flavors and order a cake for my daughter’s 5th birthday coming in May. I’m so happy someone recommended I try Love by the Slice.“
“Every time I come here, my experience has been absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere is created by both patrons and employees and you could just hang all day!The artwork as well as the food capture the eye right away!Ive only ever had their cinnamon roll but it is THE most delicious cinnamon roll ive ever had in my life (and i love cinnamon rolls) it doesnt overwhelm and they are MASSIVE & affordable ❤️We drove all the way from Oregon JUST to get a cinnamon roll :)Give. Me. An. Excuse. My partner and I recommend this place forevermore!!“
“Corner lot, drive through, plenty of parking. The girl at the counter was super nice and helpful. The doughnuts oh man they are amazing definitely the best I've had. Crispy on the cake ones with the perfect glaze ratio. The lighter ones are airy. The dough on every one I got taste sooooo good.“
“The double choc mint marshmallow pie and the crack pie were some of the best my family and I have ever had. The texture of the chocolate pie was amazing. The crack pie I can see why it’s called that. It makes you keep wanting more. I loved them both and Brianne was very communicative. Can’t wait to place more orders for birthdays and holidays! I also picked up some scones that were bomb and perfect for Christmas morning.“
“Cute little spot. Waitress was super friendly and helpful. 1st time here and she had several recommendations. I need to go back and try breakfast. Only complaint was fries were a little cold, seemed like they were sitting for awhile. I'm not a Seinfeld fan, but I like the theme. It's fun! Prices are very good for what you get.“
“This is the outlet store for pretty much all the bread companies in the area. You won't get better prices on 99% of the bread sold here. They have a bargain wall of items close to best by dates and fresh items for regular price. I love they also give free items with minimum purchases. Spent $18 tonight and got two types of bagels free. A bag of mini bagels and a sleeve of Cheddar Onion Garlic bagels. Those won't last to see the best by date on Monday. Items vary daily and some days they run out.You can even get restaurant pack breads here. Some of your favorite bread served at restaurants is here. Cheap. This is NOT a restaurant. Not sure why google has it listed as one.“
“This place was amazing! The atmosphere is really fun, lots of old signage on the walls and they were playing a sports channel when our group went. The server was amazing, definitely made us feel right at home. Very friendly. The drinks were delicious, I got a screwdriver that was very generously poured, and my friend got a mimosa that was also wonderful, and the bloody Mary was delicious as well. And the food was amazing! I got the biscuits and gravy and it was absolutely delicious! The spicy breakfast burrito and Monte Cristo sandwich were delicious as well. Overall 10/10 would recommend, we'll definitely be coming back!“
“The prices are better than the supermarket prices. This shop is small but has brands other than Franz. No cakes or baked confections. They do have donuts, buns, and bread. They place was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the shop is a bit small.“
“My husband and I were visiting my brother and his wife for their wedding and decided to check the area for a good Asian spot. We were visiting from STL and our favorite STL Asian restaurant was also called Indo. We had to try. Of course this is not a chain, so we were curious how well the two compared. All I can say is wow. This place is ?? ‼️The flavors, ambiance, service, quality -- this will be a staple when we go back to visit for sure. Our recommendations would be the Vermicelli Noodle Bowl and Pork Belly Yakitori.Vegetarian options: Tofu, saladDietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free“
“We decided to go to this place one night because we were craving some frozen yogurt and was recommended to try this place. The parking here was actually not bad, but it could be very busy. The different variety of flavors were amazing and the different toppings was cool! My favorite is combining the pineapple froyo with the lihing mui powder, try it out! The service was okay and the music was great. Very clean as well.“
“It's a different location than the first two times I came. The new location is much nicer, the building is probably 50, 60 years newer, so that in itself helps. The food is as good as before, as far as I can tell it's the same people running it, and it looks much better. So come on down and give it a try.“
“I’ve been eating at this place for the last two years and it is the most delicious, amazing food that you can get in the area for the price. The couple that runs the place are absolutely amazing human beings and every order is made made with love. Try any item on the menu, I promise you will not be disappointed. My favorite is the BLTA on sourdough or the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast burrito for breakfast. Absolutely Delicious!“
“Your basic diner, with that little local flare. Have not had a bad meal here, but can get a little busy (therefore slower service) during breakfast rushes. Their home fries are delicious, but the large portions make me a little sad because I just cannot eat that many potatoes for breakfast. Delicious scrambles, skillets and biscuits.“
“The customer service is top tier when entering or leaving someone makes it their responsibility to speak. The atmosphere is soothing and always welcoming. One key component, you receive a glass of ice cold water and don't forget to ask for a straw ?“
“I can eat here and have absolutely no concerns! The food is always very good and the desserts of course LOLVegetarian options: For someone with Celiac disease, like myself, having a restaurant like Viva's is a life changer as far as being able to eat out without fear of gluten contamination. I just wish there was one closer to us in PuyallupDietary restrictions: Gluten FreeVegan“
“Down home cafe vibe and food. Huge portions and tastes like grandma is cooking in the back for you. They no longer have gluten free items marked on the menu, but have plenty of options, including gluten free pancakes. I safely eat gf breakfast here at least monthly and never get sick.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options“
“Came on a Wednesday it started off slow but immediately got full. Food was decent could be better. Miss the old menu. Service tonight was great the best it’s been. She was attentive and friendly and took great care of my party. It’s a small place but worth visiting.“
“Passing through Tacoma on the way home to Vancouver. I cannot say enough good things about this spot.Healthy food, relaxing spot and Bus, who served us, could not be nicer. Had protein oats, boiled eggs and the masala chai. My son had toasted bagel and the Homer donut. My son tried my oatmeal and loved it, he almost ate it all.You must visit this spot, you will not be disappointed!!! Thanks to Bus for the wonderful service and for being so friendly. Will def stop by again.“
“First of all I want to say their Reuben tastes just like a real Reuben, the food is super yummy. This place is no longer offering dine in, which I didn’t know because I was visiting town, so I ordered and waited in my car. I took a screen shot because I had instructions to provide the number at the takeaway window. It took a good while with no updates, but I got that text eventually and went right up to the window. My food was on the other side but nobody was there. After a lot of knocking and a call that wasn’t answered, someone did come to the window and asked for the number. But when I provided it, “we don’t even use that number,” and it was the only one I was given. I don’t know if she was by herself or what.It seems like the place is going through some kind of transition, but I would totally recommend the eats! Order at home and wait until you get that text to head in, reheat if necessary.“
“Had dinner at the Wild Orchid before taking in a concert at Jazzbones. We arrived early on a Friday and were the first ones seated that evening. The host/server was very welcoming and took our order promptly. As you can see from the pictures, the presentation of the food was above our expectations. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the coconuts prawns while our entrees were being prepared. The food was very flavorful and the portions were on par. For us, the best part in this dining out economy was the price. We felt that the experience was well worth what we paid.“
“We came here for brunch on my mother's birthday, and it was FAB-U-LOUS!Parking was a pain, admittedly, but that's a stadium district problem. As for Art House itself? Divine. We were seated quickly, served quickly, and satisfied quickly with friendly and informative servers with expedient and careful service. The atmosphere was fun and lively! With great window seating on a sunny downtown day.And the food? Oh my God it was wonderful! A touch pricier but worth twice it's cost in flavor, easily.I look forward to returning again in the future and trying more of their expansive, delicious menu in the future. And next time, I'll take the Link instead ?“
“The wifey and I made the trek to Lacey Washington to visit our daughter's college stomping grounds... we ended up getting an Air BnB in Tacoma.... we decided to go out the first night and were hungry for Pizza... we I jumped on Yelp and found Farellis.. it was close and had good reviews... it happened to be less than a mile away.. we went in side and the place was clean and seemed pretty open... there were not many people dining at the time.. the waitresses were courteous and tended to our needs in timely manner... we had Pepsi and water then ordered breadsticks.. the breadsticks were good... the daughter ordered a personal pepperoni pizza ... the pepperonis looked good nice and curled up like the shoulder he... the wife and I shared the pizza of the day which was a Big Ben's Island Pizza.. so good... this place is a hit and everyone should go if they are in town..“
“I'm surprised by some of the reviews because I popped in here unexpectedly on a Friday afternoon. Donuts were well stocked and all I wanted was a coffee. The barista was super nice, and the latte was REALLY good!! The smell of the donuts were so un-resistible that I had to peek at them. I saw the BIGGEST maple bar I've ever seen in the glass. My husband is a sucker for maple bars, so I picked him up one. When I gave it to him, he ate it in record time. He said it was one of the best maple bars he's ever had - and that's saying something. Cheers to the barista she was super friendly and helpful!“
“I come here frequently for my lunch and really enjoy the lemongrass tofu bánh mi and the Thai tea drink. Honestly, the drink is pretty big for the price - especially compared to some places. The workers are always so nice, especially the lady. Very friendly and polite and I love how fast the food gets prepared.“
“It was my first time into landers and it was the best experience. The person at the register was the nicest. The wait was not long at all! The coffee is the best coffee I have ever had!! I will be going back here every week most likely! Definitely recommend it here!“
“This is a definite lunch spot favorite! I ordered wontons and bbq pork - it comes with your choice of noodles, and I had it with egg noodles. It comes with a delicious broth and it's topped with scallions, sliced white onions and fried shallots. It also comes with a plate of bean sprouts, cilantro, lime and jalepenos. I'm pretty sure I left a clean bowl. This bowl of goodness cost $9.99 and hot tea is available upon request.“
“I don't typically comment much on decor but this restaurant has some notably beautiful decor and ambiance that is extremely unique and lends to a romantic and upscale experience. The food is prepared and served expertly and at a great price-point. It's a good value, especially for lunch. Check out this great menu of options! Everything I've tried here is solidly delicious.“
“I don't know if anyone would consider it authentic Mexican food, but it certainly is what I expect when I go out to eat Mexican food. We have been dining there a lot lately, and have had consistently good food and good service. The portions are very large. My wife and I often split the Trio Fajitas, and we get plenty of food and we both really enjoy it. They always keep us going with chips and salsa. The salsa is not that great, but that would be my only complaint. We recently ate at Cactus in Proctor, and felt like our food and service is so much better and much cheaper at El Toro. The portions are much larger and the food is much closer to what I expect when eating at a Mexican restaurant. The experience at Cactus certainly made us appreciate El Toro much more.Well done, El Toro! We look forward to dining there again soon!Vegetarian options: Not sure how many options there are for vegetarians, but my son gets their Cheese Enchiladas and rice and beans and loves it. Huge portion.“
“It was a hot summer day, and I was craving a smoothie. This was my first time at this Emerald City Smoothie located in Tacoma. Honestly, I hate where it is located. It is located near the plaza where Ross and Michael's are, but it is separated from that area. So, it has very limited parking and it is right by a pretty busy intersection on 38th street. Our smoothies were good, no issues there. I feel like all the drinks and smoothies across the different Emerald City Smoothies locations are consistent.“
“I googled a diner near me and Browns Point Diner popped up. The presentation of the food was great and taste was even better. If you love a good sandwich, go for the Clubhouse with a side of ranch! I can’t wait to come back and try the breakfast.“
“Food is good, no complaints. Close to several bases so it's conveniently placed. Tables were clean when I was here as were the floors. Overall, solid 4/5. Soda machine had some drinks that were not working so I didn't put 5/5.Vegetarian options: They definitely serve to everyoneDietary restrictions: They have lots of optionsParking: They're doing construction on the adjacent street so it's a small hassle to get here currently. But, I'm sure that will be resolved soon.Kid-friendliness: They have kid meal optionsWheelchair accessibility: It's ADA accessible“
“I was blown away at how amazing everything was. The service was excellent and the even gave us a special card for our anniversary. The food was next level. Perfectly balanced and unique flavors. I loved the dessert too. I’d say try the Brussel sprouts and the lemon posset but honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here.“
