“My family recently ate here for the first time, including our 2 year old and our less-than-a-week old baby. Food was incredible, but what really made our experience special was our server, Isaac. He was so attentive he generally knew what we needed before we even had to ask. He frequently would ask “what can I do to make your meal better”, which is an amazing question to ask, especially as we struggled to balance our toddlers needs with our newborns needs. My early career was spent in the high end hospitality industry, and Isaac’s level of service he provided was amongst the best I’ve ever received or witnessed, even the 4 and 5 star restaurants I’ve worked at in the past.“

“Craft 19 got me excited when they first opened in the tiny town of Sumner a few years ago. My personal favorite is Nutella and the seasonal French toast crepe (please bring it back). The cinnamon dulce de leche latte always hits a spot. Craft 19 is a place where you can sit down, reflect and watch the world go by with a good cup of jo.“

“Our neighborhood go-to for a reason. My wife and I live nearby and Verrazano's has become one of those places we just keep coming back to. It's the kind of Italian restaurant that feels like a real find — upscale enough for a special evening but comfortable enough to be a regular.

I always order the spaghetti and a Caesar salad, and both are consistently excellent. The spaghetti is classic, done right, with generous portions. The Caesar is crisp and well-dressed. And don't skip the grilled garlic bread — it's incredible. Simple dishes, but that's where you really see the quality of a kitchen, and Verrazano's nails it every time.
The drinks are a highlight too. I'll usually have a Manhattan and an Old Fashioned over the course of dinner, and the bar does a great job with both. My wife rotates between a Moscow Mule and a glass of Browne's Cabernet, and she's always happy. It's a well-curated cocktail and wine program that doesn't get enough credit.

The views of Puget Sound and the Olympics from the deck are a huge bonus — especially during golden hour. Add in attentive, personable service and a warm atmosphere with white tablecloths and you've got everything you need for a great night out.

If you're in the Federal Way area and love Italian food, don't sleep on this place. Five stars.“

“This place reminds me of what "health food" stores were like in the 90s. Staff are very helpful and share a kind of philosophical positivity that comes from a less pressured time. I also find items that I don't find in PCC or Central Coop in Seattle. I would shop more often if I lived nearby.“

“As someone who has been here probably 100 times, I cannot say enough good things about them! The coffee is fantastic, and the scones and cookies are not to be missed. I absolutely love the staff - Emily is so sweet & friendly and makes the absolute best coffee, and Tina is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! They are always quick even when they are busy. If you aren’t a “cupcake person” they have so many other options - definitely worth stopping by!“

“My boyfriend and I frequent the BECU ATM nearby every so often and if Asensio Coffee is open then we will stop by. They have seasonal specials which is always a win for my boyfriend and I as we love trying out new specials. The staff here greeted us warmly and was very patient with the customer before us who was buying a gift card and helped us with the same professionalism and friendliness. We stopped by recently to grab their fall drinks and I saw on the sign that the drink I chose pairs well with a pumpkin spice whipped cream. It is extra so I decided against it. We found a spot to sit at while we waited for our drinks and not only did the employee hand delivered our drinks to us but told me she added the pumpkin spice whipped cream for me. I thought that was super sweet of her that makes the visit all the more special and reason to visit. They do also have a reward system that we joined too.

The store is well maintained and there are plenty of seating and tables for all sorts of groups or sole patrons. They have some handcrafted goods to buy as well. We asked if they were dog friendly and they said dogs are welcome so we definitely will stop by more often as the weather gets colder.“

“The Gyros House is located in the food court of Federal Way Mall I have tried a lot of places that offer Gyros but this restaurant is the only one that makes it in the proper way and what I like the most is the freshness that make us comeback to eat there every time that we are near by.

“I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, this place is wonderful!!! The staff are super friendly, the food is out of this world, the atmosphere is crazy fun, and it's celiac safe with only a couple menu items that can't be made gluten free! They have video games to play, a small mini golf area, all kinds of toys, games, comic books, and a whole section for Pokémon cards. Even their prices are incredibly reasonable on everything they sell. We will definitely be back!“

“I accidentally forgot to complete my order online but the Sienna and the rest of the staff honored the 30% off coupon and helped me recreate my order. She was super helpful ringing me up. They had it all ready in less than 10 minutes. I wish there was a spot to sit but that's not on them. Awesome location!

“Cool little spot, loved the coffee. They tell you if you order the German pancake or the apple thingamajig there is a bit of a wait. Tables are close together. Not much space for private conversation so be sure to keep it light. Biscuits and gravy was good portion wise. Not my favorite gravy. Prices a little high for pancakes.“

“Super calm and quiet little hole in the wall teriyaki joint. I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and the little tucked away places like these are always the best! And I was not disappointed! The fried rice was some of the best I've ever had, Tempura shrimp and gyoza seemed very fresh and super flavorful and crispy. I got the Mongolian Beef as my main dish and while it seemed like it was missing something, maybe it wasn't as saucy as I'm used to at other places, but who knows this could be the traditional way to make it so I won't jump to conclusions. It was still very delicious though!

The only little downside is that I wish the meal portion sizes were a little larger. But other than that, service was very kind, it seems like this lovely older man and woman running the shop all by themselves. I had walked in to tonight get a to-go order tonight and was probably waiting a little less than or around 10 minutes, this was a Saturday night too. The place wasn't very busy, but I think it definitely deserves more attention. I will be coming here again!“

“Delicious spot for lunch! My husband and I I wanted a delicious sandwich and we got that and more. I got the turkey bacon ranch sandwich on fresh (and when I say “fresh” I absolutely mean it) and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. My husband got the turkey pesto ranch on herbed focaccia bread and his mind was blown. No more Subway or Panera for us. This place is our new first choice go to for sandwiches. “Five stars for Shonda, the bartender at Spar Pole Bar & Grill in Sumner. She was attentive and made sure I had everything I needed, but she wasn’t overbearing. She’d check in every so often to see how things were going, or if she noticed something on my face that didn’t look right, she’d ask if everything was okay. She really made the experience great. The atmosphere here is awesome and the prices are just right.“
