“Super calm and quiet little hole in the wall teriyaki joint. I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and the little tucked away places like these are always the best! And I was not disappointed! The fried rice was some of the best I've ever had, Tempura shrimp and gyoza seemed very fresh and super flavorful and crispy. I got the Mongolian Beef as my main dish and while it seemed like it was missing something, maybe it wasn't as saucy as I'm used to at other places, but who knows this could be the traditional way to make it so I won't jump to conclusions. It was still very delicious though!

The only little downside is that I wish the meal portion sizes were a little larger. But other than that, service was very kind, it seems like this lovely older man and woman running the shop all by themselves. I had walked in to tonight get a to-go order tonight and was probably waiting a little less than or around 10 minutes, this was a Saturday night too. The place wasn't very busy, but I think it definitely deserves more attention. I will be coming here again!“

“I ordered a teriyaki bento and some kimchi. I found nothing wrong with the food. The woman who took my order was very hard to understand and she was very impatient. I am accustomed to getting kimchi served hot with rice, what i got was cold in a to-go container (it was to-go) , no rice. If offered I would have ordered some white rice. The furniture, booths, appeared to be second hand and repaired with colored duct tape. Alot of there inventory was stored in view. And, the luovered doors leading to the restrooms where blinds and hung backwards to each other. It was clean and had no unusual odors.“

“I normally don’t review a restaurant after one visit, but Marzano was exceptional. It’s an approachable fine dining experience. The staff was great, and definitely give the impression that they genuinely care about your visit. We took a chance on the appetizer special, and were very happy that we stepped outside our comfort zone (Traditional Venetian antipasto of marinated salt cod on squid ink polenta cakes paired with whipped ciccione crostini, sour cherries and hazelnuts). The lasagna bolognese and carbonara were absolutely amazing from the first bite to the last. I’ve never had better.“

The table was decorated with a long stemmed red rose and a birthday card. Our meal was so delicious! Cocktails, starters, dinner and dessert were pure perfection! Thank you chef(s). “Corina Bakery made the wedding cake for our reception last night, and it was absolutely perfect. The design was just what I wanted, and the cake itself was delicious! We had to pick the cake up, and they packaged it just right for an easy trip to our venue. Communication with the ladies was easy and convenient. The pricing was appropriate for such a lovely, well made, beautiful cake. Thank you!!“

“Our neighborhood go-to for a reason. My wife and I live nearby and Verrazano's has become one of those places we just keep coming back to. It's the kind of Italian restaurant that feels like a real find — upscale enough for a special evening but comfortable enough to be a regular.

I always order the spaghetti and a Caesar salad, and both are consistently excellent. The spaghetti is classic, done right, with generous portions. The Caesar is crisp and well-dressed. And don't skip the grilled garlic bread — it's incredible. Simple dishes, but that's where you really see the quality of a kitchen, and Verrazano's nails it every time.
The drinks are a highlight too. I'll usually have a Manhattan and an Old Fashioned over the course of dinner, and the bar does a great job with both. My wife rotates between a Moscow Mule and a glass of Browne's Cabernet, and she's always happy. It's a well-curated cocktail and wine program that doesn't get enough credit.

The views of Puget Sound and the Olympics from the deck are a huge bonus — especially during golden hour. Add in attentive, personable service and a warm atmosphere with white tablecloths and you've got everything you need for a great night out.

If you're in the Federal Way area and love Italian food, don't sleep on this place. Five stars.“

“As someone who has been here probably 100 times, I cannot say enough good things about them! The coffee is fantastic, and the scones and cookies are not to be missed. I absolutely love the staff - Emily is so sweet & friendly and makes the absolute best coffee, and Tina is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! They are always quick even when they are busy. If you aren’t a “cupcake person” they have so many other options - definitely worth stopping by!“

“My boyfriend and I frequent the BECU ATM nearby every so often and if Asensio Coffee is open then we will stop by. They have seasonal specials which is always a win for my boyfriend and I as we love trying out new specials. The staff here greeted us warmly and was very patient with the customer before us who was buying a gift card and helped us with the same professionalism and friendliness. We stopped by recently to grab their fall drinks and I saw on the sign that the drink I chose pairs well with a pumpkin spice whipped cream. It is extra so I decided against it. We found a spot to sit at while we waited for our drinks and not only did the employee hand delivered our drinks to us but told me she added the pumpkin spice whipped cream for me. I thought that was super sweet of her that makes the visit all the more special and reason to visit. They do also have a reward system that we joined too.

The store is well maintained and there are plenty of seating and tables for all sorts of groups or sole patrons. They have some handcrafted goods to buy as well. We asked if they were dog friendly and they said dogs are welcome so we definitely will stop by more often as the weather gets colder.“

“I've been going here for many years. I used to bring my daughter to select snacks for her lunches and just for fun. Recently. I brought my grandchildren with me to pick out an after school treat. The store is always well stocked and neat and clean. The employees are friendly and helpful.“

I love their fresh baked biscuits because most places you go nowadays have pre-made commercially purchased biscuits that are just not very good.... Next time I definitely want to try the biscuits with the gravy on it..“

“The Gyros House is located in the food court of Federal Way Mall I have tried a lot of places that offer Gyros but this restaurant is the only one that makes it in the proper way and what I like the most is the freshness that make us comeback to eat there every time that we are near by.

“This is instantly my favorite breakfast place. Had chicken fried steak, hashbrowns, over medium eggs and biscuit. The gravy was so rich! The eggs were perfect (and I am very picky about my eggs). Potatoes are seasoned and delicious, coffee is perfect! Not too weak and not overly bitter. The staff was friendly and very attentive. I will absolutely come back!! Only complaint, the tables in the booths are a wee small.“

“I went here multiple times with my family and I must say if we have been here multiple times you know they never disappoint everything here is amazing portions are great, another thing was the drinks boba etc. Such as Thai tea were amazing I mean boba was a little cold with a little bit of no flavor but at the end it still was good, my favorite was the probably the fried rice eggs rolls, spring rolls. And banh mi, overall everything is amazing here but, I do think the prices are a little overdone but, it's alr because, YOU'RE PAYING FOR GREAT FOOD!!“

“I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, this place is wonderful!!! The staff are super friendly, the food is out of this world, the atmosphere is crazy fun, and it's celiac safe with only a couple menu items that can't be made gluten free! They have video games to play, a small mini golf area, all kinds of toys, games, comic books, and a whole section for Pokémon cards. Even their prices are incredibly reasonable on everything they sell. We will definitely be back!“

“We don't eat out much, but I love this spot. Over the years i have stopped by (usually for take out, but once or twice dined in), and we've always had a great experience. Love the folks behind the counter and the food has always been so tasty and the po perfect portions. Love the variety, and the prices are quite reasonable.“

“The people here were friendly every time we went in. They have food trucks that rotate through. Ciders are good if you like dry ciders. I prefer a sweet cider myself and what they served as the 'sweet' cider I would call a semi-sweet.“

“Truly excellent teriyaki.

Had friends in town who can’t eat gluten, and they wanted whatever I considered Seattles signature dish so I had to find them teriyaki. Called Himitsu and they kindly explained my options (all the teriyaki is gluten free, the fried rice CAN be if you specifically order it gluten free). When I picked up the food they were kind and friendly with a big smile.

The food itself was fantastic. Fried rice was excellent, and the teriyaki is of the less saucy variety. While the chicken didn’t have a lot of sauce it was well marinated and seasoned so it was very juicy and flavorful. Our favorite was the beef. It was thin, tender, and no unpleasant gristle to be found.

Our friends loved it and we now have an option we’d happily recommend to anyone, whether they can have gluten or not!“
