“I have been coming almost every week for the past several months. The folks that run the place are friendly and the food is pretty good - I almost always get the chicken teriyaki and gyoza combo. If there's any sort of issue (which is rare to begin with), they'll make it right. They make it easy and enjoyable to want to come back every week.“

I came across the restaurant online and thankfully the owner was able to help me with a table for one. The owner is extremely nice and provides personable service. I had the chef’s choice nigiri and ordered two additional pieces off of the menu, every bite was fresh and extremely delicious. Highly recommended and I look forward to when I can come back again! “The dining experience is unlike anything in this little town of Bonney Lake so it was a very pleasant surprise. Great service. The care with which they present their dishes and the quality of the food is outstanding. You do pay more because of it though. I think it's worth it because now that there are so many sushi restaurants to choose from my husband and I find ourselves being more dissenting about the quality. A poor sushi experience stays with you (and not in a good way) forever but this particular restaurant has definitely delivered on quality. The place is small and cozy so plan ahead. I would not recommend for large groups. But definitely intimate for a romantic dinner for two.“

“This restaurant is absolutely outstanding!!! We stumbled on it during a day trip a couple of hours south of where we live, but we are absolutely making the trip back again and again because it's so worth it! The menu is jam packed with so many unique choices, we ordered a few things simply because the name sounded interesting, and we were blown away with how wonderful and delicious everything was! And with the traditional foods (yes, there are plenty of options there too) they were incredibly fresh and beautiful! “Had the tonkatsu ramen with chicken katsu. The chicken katsu was super tender and crispy and the sauce it came with and presentation was great. It came on a bed of fried noodles with an orange slice. They also give you a side of rice and a little salad that was very tasty. The ramen was flavorful and hit the spot. The atmosphere is very nice too and the service was great. All together great for the price.“

“First time eating at Nami Sushi, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the small boat, which has 20 different items in the boat and 3 different kinds of rolls. We also ordered the tempura calamari and Agedashi with a side of Japanese beer (large bottle of Asahi). The wait staff are attentive and checked on us multiple times. “I've been a customer here for more than 20 years, and I have never been disappointed by the food or the service. Their teriyaki sauce is sweet but not cloyingly so, and their katsu sauce is sharp and bright. “I have pad Thai and Thai fried rice and they both well seasoned. One thing that I love is drink packaging. I always have a hard time mixing Thai tea by just stirring with a straw so it is great to see that use a better quality plastics cup that well sealed and reusable so I can shake the cup without creating a mess.“

The food all came our right and pretty quickly. We ate there, and I was a little different to get all of our own supplies. The tables were clean and well maintained. They have a little bit nicer round chopstick and very small cups for water (4 oz). The house made hot sauce was amazing and my friend loved it as well.While we were there, it was pretty slow. We were the only table for a while. The family came out and ate together. I thought this was nice. We were self-sufficient, and I was nice to see a family eat together today when we are constantly being driven apart.I will be back for the great food and laid back chill vibes with a touch of family.“

“The shabu shabu that they serve here is really good. The restaurant has been around for over 30 years, and I've come here a couple times now. The food is extremely affordable when you look at how much you get especially in the shabu shabu meal. Six of us ate there and included sushi and it was less than $200 to feed all of us, though we did not have any beverages other than hot tea and water. The server lady was outstanding and worked unbelievably hard to take care of all the tables in the restaurant by herself. I'll definitely come back for shabu-shabu again!“

“Was helping my guy shop for a car today and when it was all said and done, we were starving so wanted somewhere close and Sapporo sushi came up on Google. Its a cute little restaurant, lots of decor on the walls and the servers are really sweet and prompt with service. I don't really remember the name of the rolls, I remember one was a volcano roll and one had spicey crab on top which was absolutely phenomenal and another had eel. We got a tasty miso and side salad as well Hamaki as a starter which were fried egg rolls that were very crispy and tasty. Overall a very pleasant dining experience and amazing food, ill definitely be returning. Everything pictured was $71 before tip so it's also reasonably priced. If I had to nitpick one thing; the eel was pretty thick sliced which was awesome, but I'm hugely textural with foods and eel skin is not something I find very enjoyable on the palate. I removed the pieces of eel and peeled the skin off to avoid the slimy texture that accompanies eel skin. Other than that, everything was great.“

“There are not a lot of sushi restaurants in Tacoma, and of those I know of, they tend to think they're in Seattle and it's okay to charge $20 a roll, or competing with gas stations to make you nervous, this place is the exception. It's affordable, not pretentious, cute interior with pretty solid sushi, (I stick with the veggie options but my friends have all enjoyed the fish, so second hand account on the actual sushi)If you live in the area and want sushi, I definitely recommend it, for whatever that's worth :)P.S. I'm grading this a bit on a curve due to the other options I've had, but it's a review so definitely biased in some way or another.“

“The BEST Fried Rice (w/ combo) I have ever had hands down!! Food is Always freshly made and the portions are well worth the price.. Definitely puts me in a food-coma every time LoL!! And customer service is great- for one person the cashier Lady who is always working does a great job of handling all Walk-in customers (including those who dine-in) + all Pickup customers. “This place is a gem for Filipino food! I usually get the chicken adobo and it's SO good. The meat falls off the bone and you get a nice portion for UNDER $10 WITH rice. Rice isn't extra. They have various options for they lumpia as well! I can't have too much red meat so I usually get the ginger garlic and it's absolutely delicious. They're pretty nice with the sauce as well. if you really like it they have it bottled! The ONLY complaint I have is I wish I could get a little more sauce with the adobo but the rice just absorbs like all of it but that's just a preference really. We got the 911, Playboy, New York and Rainbow rolls and they were all phenomenal. Our favorite was the 911. We also got the 15 pc yellowtail, salmon and tuna sashimi & nigiri and it was fresh and very flavorful. It melted in our mouths. I haven't had sushi that good in quite awhile. Another thing I love about this place is the service. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Chicken portions could be slightly larger, as could the vegetables in the veggie yakisoba, but does not detract from my rating as the price was reasonable.“

“I've been to this place more times than I can remember. They serve great food, and only rarely do I get food that isn't perfect. I think that sometimes the chef cooks the chicken a little too long as only one time I've had dry Katsu. If you want teriyaki in Auburn, I recommend this place as your 'go to' location.“

“Ordered the kung pao chicken, it was delicious! Comes with two nice big scoops of rice and a good portion of chicken and various vegetables (there are peanuts!) The sauce goes well with the rice, yum. It had just the right amount of spiciness (you probably can’t eat this if you have 0 tolerance for spice). Pick up of the takeout order went smoothly, food was ready fast and I was in and out. Restaurant itself was small and a bit dark but clean enough. The man at the front/cashier was friendly. Be wary though that they don’t really read the special instructions/notes; I asked for a spoon, chopsticks, and napkins in my pick up order but ended up with just a single small/thin napkin and a fork. The sauce had spilled out from the edges of the styrofoam takeout box so thankfully there was a plastic bag around it, it was a bit messy inside the bag.. Other than that though, food was great! Would come back again to give it another shot and to try out some other dishes on the menu.“

“I had Honto Teriyaki cater an event for me. It was for over 40 people. I chose a wide variety of food. It was excellent! Food was hot, tasty, and everyone had seconds. It was very reasonably priced. The service was excellent. They made sure everything was to my satisfaction. All of my guests loved the food. I have been to this restaurant and eaten there in person a few times. Again food is incredible. The restaurant has a very nice vibe to it. It is very comfortable setting to have dinner with your family.
