Sushi Kaunta is the best sushi/sashimi that I’ve had in the PNW and is on par with the same quality/tastes that I’ve had from other similar restaurants in Asia. I came across the restaurant online and thankfully the owner was able to help me with a table for one. The owner is extremely nice and provides personable service. I had the chef’s choice nigiri and ordered two additional pieces off of the menu, every bite was fresh and extremely delicious. Highly recommended and I look forward to when I can come back again! “Had the tonkatsu ramen with chicken katsu. The chicken katsu was super tender and crispy and the sauce it came with and presentation was great. It came on a bed of fried noodles with an orange slice. They also give you a side of rice and a little salad that was very tasty. The ramen was flavorful and hit the spot. The atmosphere is very nice too and the service was great. All together great for the price.“

“First time eating at Nami Sushi, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the small boat, which has 20 different items in the boat and 3 different kinds of rolls. We also ordered the tempura calamari and Agedashi with a side of Japanese beer (large bottle of Asahi). The wait staff are attentive and checked on us multiple times. I ordered teriyaki chicken breast with extra meat and no rice sub extra veggies, sauce on the side. My friend ordered the teriyaki chicken and katsu chicken combo. The food all came our right and pretty quickly. We ate there, and I was a little different to get all of our own supplies. The tables were clean and well maintained. They have a little bit nicer round chopstick and very small cups for water (4 oz). The house made hot sauce was amazing and my friend loved it as well.While we were there, it was pretty slow. We were the only table for a while. The family came out and ate together. I thought this was nice. “The shabu shabu that they serve here is really good. The restaurant has been around for over 30 years, and I've come here a couple times now. The food is extremely affordable when you look at how much you get especially in the shabu shabu meal. Six of us ate there and included sushi and it was less than $200 to feed all of us, though we did not have any beverages other than hot tea and water. The server lady was outstanding and worked unbelievably hard to take care of all the tables in the restaurant by herself. I'll definitely come back for shabu-shabu again!“

They're pretty nice with the sauce as well. if you really like it they have it bottled! The ONLY complaint I have is I wish I could get a little more sauce with the adobo but the rice just absorbs like all of it but that's just a preference really. “I ordered the Mongolian Beef/teriyaki chicken combo 17.99 and a potato croquette 2.49. First of all, the amount of food you get is enough for two. It is basically a full order of each meat and 2 giant mounds of rice. Well worth the price. The potato croquette was sooo good. Creamy inside and crispy outside. The katsu sauce it came with was the best. Not all watered down either. The chicken was moist and cooked perfect. The teriyaki sauce was generous and very good. The beef was really good. I wish they had an option to make it spicy. Also wish they had a bit more veggies in the mix. NOT complaining, just my preference. We got the 911, Playboy, New York and Rainbow rolls and they were all phenomenal. Our favorite was the 911. We also got the 15 pc yellowtail, salmon and tuna sashimi & nigiri and it was fresh and very flavorful. It melted in our mouths. I haven't had sushi that good in quite awhile. And my favorite sweet and sour chicken has gotten much better since the last time I’ve gone, they must’ve started using better chicken as it was a lot fresher and not dry. “Was helping my guy shop for a car today and when it was all said and done, we were starving so wanted somewhere close and Sapporo sushi came up on Google. Its a cute little restaurant, lots of decor on the walls and the servers are really sweet and prompt with service. I don't really remember the name of the rolls, I remember one was a volcano roll and one had spicey crab on top which was absolutely phenomenal and another had eel. We got a tasty miso and side salad as well Hamaki as a starter which were fried egg rolls that were very crispy and tasty. Overall a very pleasant dining experience and amazing food, ill definitely be returning. Everything pictured was $71 before tip so it's also reasonably priced. If I had to nitpick one thing; the eel was pretty thick sliced which was awesome, but I'm hugely textural with foods and eel skin is not something I find very enjoyable on the palate. I removed the pieces of eel and peeled the skin off to avoid the slimy texture that accompanies eel skin. Other than that, everything was great.“
